Service was horrible. A manager should never give quotes/prices to anyone if she is not sure about the prices. I felt lied to, disrespected, and threatened by her Customer Service actions telling me that the price is the price and if I didn’t want it that she could just cancel my contract. No professionalism. No integrity. She also did not apologize for her actions of the prices she offered me or for giving me the wrong price. False advertisement. Defrauding a disable person. Manager states $74.95. At ring up charges $99.95 when she was specifically asked for a space down stairs to accommodate disability. No follow up from other managers to address and fix concerns. Do not schedule a pick up for the exact same time as the return is due. If the person returning is late it pushes back the pick ups entire schedule . Your online service leaves much to be desired. It showed no credit for the initial payment that I made. It showed an increase in the amount that was decided upon. So I really don't know what I owe at this point which makes me upset. I payed and rented on line,a storage unit. I was unable to get into bldg. Not anything but an inconvience all in all.I had to walk back to the office 3 times ,Their were no locks as directed,their are rat traps in the unit itself(gross) and storage room is absolutely filthy. I was told the 15ft was unavailable which I had reserved over a month in advanced so was then told only the 10 ft would be available and that was sufficient for a 2 bedroom. I got to pick up the truck which it clearly states on signage at the checkout area a 10 ft is meant for studios to 1 bedroom and the truck was unsurprisingly extremely too small. I moved across the state (atleast a 5 hour drive one way) and am now forced to pay to rent a trailer and miss work in order to drive back to Tacoma yo pick up the remainder of my items and drive an additional 5 plus hours back. This has been a difficult process and I do not wish to use your services in the future.KIMBERLY A.

Was our first experience with the app. The app was to complicated and it was the first time we had to deal with that. And will never go there again because it was a waste of time.JAMES K.
The employees were incompetent and had no sense of urgency or customer service. I completed the online â€œexpressâ€ check-in process and waited for more than 20 mins to be helped. 2 employees were working in the office. 1 didn't know how to rent equipment to a customer in front of me and the employee literally sat at his computer, doing nothing while he waited for someone else to come from the back. The employee who came from the back seemed to have no issue renting the equipment to the customer. During the time the male employee was sitting there doing literally nothing, I asked if I needed to wait if I had completed the online check in. He and the other employee rudely asked if I had a key number and if not I had to wait. I did not have a key number but when it was my turn, all of the info they needed was already on the system so it seemed that I had done everything I was supposed to do to avoid this time suck. There was a brand new employee there when I moved my stuff in. It was 3 minutes to 7pm and I had a lot of stuff left to move. He comes up to me and says in a condescending tone “this place closes in 3 minutes, you need to wrap this up.” I told him that I thought the access was 24/7 and he replied that it’s not anymore because people were caught living in their units. I’m upset that he talked to me the way he did and also because this place is advertised as open 24/7. Our reservations were for a van. When we came in at the selected time no van was available. We then had to rent the 10' truck. We were told due to inconvenience we would be charged 99 cents per mile instead of the $1.09. We were absolutely lied to. When we picked up the truck I had to deal with several people trying to explain things at the same time, just confusing in itself. Then the truck had dings on the side that we were almost held responsible for. I have never been told something and then completely lied to. There is no customer service. I will not rent from here in the future due to being told one thing and then being lied to.DONA E.

Well my vehicle was parked overnight in the parking lot it was set on fire and the manager Lindsay said basically I'm on my own she can give me a couple of days to move it and I feel like U-Haul Shelby responsible for the damages seeing that there's no sign saying park at your own risk or any heads up that there's a lot of theft in this area and so waiting on a callback from Andrew the MCP to see what my options are as far as getting this taken care ofAMEREO F.

There was some debris on the floor and outside the unit in the hall including a broken lock on the floor right outside the unit. There is also a rodent bait station which I guess I should assume Uhaul put that there and I should leave it there. An explanation would be helpful though. It is also a disposable one so I dunno if it's empty and should be thrown out. The Uhaul video explaining that the passcode is for a gate code and a door code. This location doesn't have a gate like in the video. It has two doors and three keypads for passcodes. Which seems weird. I had to try all three to figure out which two I am supposed to put the passcodes in. I also don't know if their is another entrance to the storage since there are so many Uhaul vehicles around the entire building.
