No windshield scraper was provided even tho it was middle of winter. The cargo zone of the truck was leaking water which resulted in some of my items getting wet during transport.

Melles G.We waited an hour in line to pick up the truck. It was unacceptable. I had to book an elevator and missed the elevator booking. I had movers that came to help me and couldn't help me because I was over an hour late. It made no sense that I had to wait in line because I had already checked in online. The truck didn't even come with winter tires and I was driving far distances in the snow. It was super unsafe and the truck couldn't even get up my drive way. I would never rent from uhaul again.

The billing is a bit complicated with charges and reversals but the correct amount ended up being charged at the end of each set of transactions

Nicoya B.I parked the truck, went inside, nobody was around and eventually someone came in and just asked if I was returning a truck and said they'd take the keys and walked away. No confirmation of vehicle condition or fuel level or mats or anything. From start to finish it was not a pleasant rental experience and a constant cash-grab.

KANISTA M. | Overall ExperienceExtremely disappointed. Will rent from U-Haul but will avoid this location. It felt like no one wanted to work. My father and I were asking all the questions. We had asked for them to bring the vehicle out front, to which the employee said NO. We got to the vehicle that they gave us and it was blocked in by other cars. I had to go and find an employee and ask for them to remove the vehicle so I could get to mine. The pick up truck we rented was extremely dirty in and outside. The return was disappointing too, we stood around until a guy from behind the desk yelled for someone to mention that there was a return. The guy took the keys from my hand and said nothing. A few minutes later I went outside to ask if everything was ok, to which he replied I'm going through the process now but he was actually checking his Facebook account. Overall a bad bad bad experience, why show up to work if you don't feel like working. Extremely unprofessional, unpleasant.

Benjamin D.My experience at this location was abysmally disappointing enough to swear of U-Haul for any future consideration and compels me to warn any friends from ever using your company again. Over many years, I have utilized your rental vehicles, but this 14 month locker rental has me rethinking. Upon every attempt to acquire the attention of your service people at this location, I've had to wait un unimpressive amount of time. Yet behind the large, so-called "one way" mirror that leads to the back room, I could always see the employees chatting among themselves, sometime typing away on their phones before acknowledging me waiting patiently for their service. And when they finally did come into play, they'd walk to the desk, even if I was all alone waiting and simply bleat "NEXT!" Purely unacceptable customer service. Lastly, your policy of non-refundable payment on a prorated basis sickens me, I paid $200 for 2 days of storage for the month of December. You should prorate a refund for days unused. Sickening that you don't when your competitors do. I'm happy to tell you that I will never use U-Haul again and will overtly go out of my way to dissuade friends from using U-Haul. brenn s. | Overall ExperienceEverything went really well with the uhaul truck rental - no complaints there. My only issue was I reserved a certain storage unit that when I arrived on site to finalize was no longer available….so i had to rent a larger more expensive storage unit after much time spent in the office working to sort this out. Not sure what happened there but the process caused delays with our move that was a bit frustrating. Moving our things into the storage unit went very smoothly.

I really appreciate how the processes are evolving to be more self-sufficient (from rentals to storage booking), and I am more than happy with my UHaul experience.

Orett C. | Overall ExperienceI was pretty disappointed with the dimensions and location of the locker (ie not at ground level and very awkward to pack). I rented a 5x5x8 locker and it is not that size. I had to store a queen size bed, which is heavy, but not rigid. The bed does not fit neatly within the locker due to the smaller dimensions and I had to lift it up to the second level up some risky moveable steps. Because the door was not 5 feet across, the interior dimensions not 5 feet across and the locker was almost 6 feet above ground level, it was extremely difficult to put my bed in there. Because I had to store my bed on an angle in the locker, I will not be able to store much more of my stuff in there. It is what it is. Place is very clean (although the rodent trap in there makes me a bit nervous - hopefully nothing dies in there and stinks up my mattress and the small amount of clothing I was able to store); staff is nice and friendly; the facility seems secure. I'll still rent trailers and stuff from UHaul, but I probably won't store stuff there anymore.

E F. | First ImpressionsThere's no level of accountability from uhaul. They somehow messed up at every interaction I ad with them: truck being late, rental equipment not being available, passcode for after hours access not working after being set up, being charged for a second day of rental due to not being able to store my items in the storage unit since the password they gave me was wrong and having nowhere to go (I was told I wouldn't be). After all this I was told it's my fault for sleeping in the truck nearby instead of spending money on a hotel, I was told to "figure it out" when calling for support about my passcode for after hours access not working (they set up the wrong one instead of using my phone number). Nobody there really cares about you as a customer or even a human being for that matter. But the staff at the location was nice and friendly though. Rent at a nearby warehouse.

LUCIANO C. | Overall ExperienceRep “sold” me a unit explaining that it was the expected size and even showed me in person the sample unit in the showroom, we agreed to go ahead. He gave me a price, I did not check, started the billing cycle and he proceeded to charge my card. Then a couple days later we brought our boxes up only to find that 40% of the unit was inaccessible due to concrete bulk head and roll up door interior. We wasted days and hired help having to relocate to another unit, promised to be the same price. AFTER we relocated all our stuff they automatically charged me more saying “well it’s a bigger unit” without agreeing with me first. AGAIN wasted a week and had to hire help again to come and remove everything as it was not in our budget and frankly the service was horrible. Staff would stand by with a blank look while the elevator didn’t work, and said we had to walk around the building to get them to find help at the front desk, all while she was standing there doing nothing holding a radio and a mobile phone. Doing nothing. Wandering around checking her phone doing who knows what but defo not customer service. I’ve never had such bad service anywhere. Wasted at least $300 on nothing and 10 days of redundant service and waste precious time trying to move house - setting me back at least 2 weeks timeline besides the wasted money. Total waste of my money and time. I’ll be making the same complaint public on Google and BBB.
Bryanne T. | Overall ExperienceOver the course of eleven months, my locker experienced two floods. The first time, my locker was moved to another location **on the same basement floor**. It was bizarre, since that didn't fix the issue. Two months later, my locker was flooded. Again. With sewage. It was awful. I lost a few boxes. The management did not offer to compensate me, or to move me to a locker that would be less prone to flooding. The flood issue has been subsequently fixed (so they say), but I would not recommend this storage facility.

The second time around we found we had to wait a bit because the sliding doors were not open we ask two times the first time around and then when we went to go grab our things to give them time to open to get to our truck the doors were still not open. I had to go to the front desk to ask again. Overall I enjoyed my experience there and they kept my items safe when I needed. I would recommend uhaul and storage again.
