Don't fool people and try to charge them more miles than supposed to. I hate when the system designed in a way to add more miles to the contract. I dropped off the truck after hours and the break down included the miles that I mentioned when I picked up the truck and the actual miles I used.Michael M.

I guess since I asked about any money I got back they decided to charge me 100 extra bucks the gas was on a quarter when I got it and brought it back. Lorraine was very rude and unprofessional. She gave attitude when talking to me, didn't answer my questions, would make me wait 20 minutes outside the gate to be able to return the equipment as well as having me on hold for over 10 minutes on the phone when the office was clearly empty. And when the equipment was returned, she didn't bother doing the return inspection and I had to go to the office to get the receipt. When I was trying to leave, she once again made me wait 10+ minutes to open the gate for me to leave. Overall horrible experienceANTHONY G.

I moved from north Lauderdale Florida to coral springs Florida . Maybe 5 miles away drove 3 times before I rented a 26 footer and they gave me a 17 footer and i was charged for 103.1 miles how is that possible i don't know. I was charged for hang truck that I didn't have, i was charged for furniture pads that i didn't have and insurance that I didn't ask for it . Gave me a lock that it didn't work, have to buy one.over all a very bad business.Roberto R.

Very frustrating as I was given two locations to choose for return. I went to 81st Ave, North Lauderdale first. This was un-manned. I used Uhaul.com/share as the instructions said. However, in doing so, the website then said I had to go to the Sunrise location to make the return. I called the number posted hoping to get help and not have to go to the other location but had to leave a message which has yet to be returned. I think overall the place was good. My main concern and reason why I would not recommend is the fact that there are palmetto cockroaches everywhere. You would bump into a minimum of 2-3 on the way to the units. Everything i removed had eggs or dead tiny bugs. It’s a shame as the place is otherwise convenient.Ramsay C. | Overall Experience

I complained my original unit garage door was broken and could not open it without two or three men assisting, my complaints were in vain as they said garage doors were being replaced one by one. When I first rented the Unit, the fron gate had been broken and left permanently open for several days, and for at least a few weeks after my first visit. Upon starting my contract, I was told that I couldn't either apply my Military discount or my own insurance because it was "too late" because she had already started the application. I would have to wait until the following month and contact customer service and ask them for assistance. About 3 months into the rental, the climate control in the unit broke and the temperature raised up to 95+ degrees. The staff on location did nothing to explain or address the issue or to offer any compensation for the lack of AC and potential damage to personal property. When I called the main customer service number to address the issue, no one offered help and was directed to the location. Calls to the location were never answered and a message from Rep the main number was never returned. Put wrong location made me wait every time I was there manager very mean to called me a drunk but I try a truck there have units there not by default of hers hope someone drone u haul gets back to me not the manager also I have no idea y the comet is in Spanish but far for the cause this location need a nee manager for customer to feel good where the rent from and keep there belongings. I first got wrong 10x20then she lies to said 10X10are all rented another lie I have one now . The 10x20i had I moved out a small door a key for door that took me over hour to get because they forgot and so ok’d no light I ask Ed they to bad will not worked is one reason the shut it down or fix it . Bad management shows I had 2 units but only wanted one . When have bad manager u get bad service . If I had a choice I move out because of her and lady she trained who really care less . Ms. Phylis Mcclarin has no patience, She was talking to other people while talking to me and when i ask her if you please could finish with me and then take other cllients, she started yelling stating that she is the only one there and that the way she works, that i can go somewhere else or do it online, , this was the worst experience ive ever had in my life, i never do reviews, but all clients were complaining about her, she is not a cuatomer service people, i told her that is better to take 1 client at the time, and she said NO, she does work like that, after that she was treating me bad, and when i ask her if i can insert my card, she said: do you see the screen asking you to insert your card? Based on our renting of truck the warehouse was supposed to be free for the first month. when we were there no warehouse available 10x20 and no reservation. We also paid the insurance. My storage was reserved and given away to someone else before I arrived I was sent to multiple locations in search of a unit. I was forced to use the biggest most expensive unit because after uhual inconvenienced me they had me pay two times what I would’ve if the unit I originally reserved had been ready and available to me as I was told when confirming my reservation and order.
