Great experience. I didn't have a problem, but the one thing I thought was hard to understand was the gas. Why aren't the trucks just filled up before being rented? Then there's nothing to figure out, just return the truck with a full tank of gas. Thank you, this uhaul location is fabulous, will definitely recommend and will use again.TAMILYNNE P.

Hello, Swedesboro location looks new and in stock with all moving supplies. There were 2 things I would like to bring to your attention: 1) Early check-in email stated truck would be available at 8 AM. Upon arrival, uhaul location did not open until 9 AM. Please word the email properly to include this verbiage about requiring early check-in to receive truck at the stated time. 2) UHaul representative stated after explaining about the email verbiage, "...be grateful you even have a truck..." Even with these 2 examples, UHaul documents, truck, and check out procedure was easy to use and understand. I did reserve (1) 26 ft truck 3 weeks before our move date and it was waiting for us. My wife and I stopped by in April to look at the storage facility on Heron Dr. in Swedesboro, NJ. Jess clearly explained all the rental and access details. She allowed us to see the location of the available units. A month later my wife and I reserved the units. We went in and Jay clearly reexplained all the rental and access details. unfortunately, this is not one of the eight drop off locations I had to chose from. I picked one near my house so an easy drop off could be made. I happened to look at my paperwork before returning trailer where I had thought only to see that I had to drop it off at the above location. This caused me to leave Delaware and travel into New Jersey, which is a $5 bridge toll. HORRIBLE customer service is the best I can say. I would never recommend U-Haul to anyone for any use.Thomas D.

Jess was amazing! She is by far the best, most courteous, most professional customer service that we have experienced in years. This is no exaggeration whatsoever. There is absolutely nothing she can do to improve anything. She explained everything perfectly, and made this experience so much easier than we anticipated it being. Overall my experience was good. Especially from the Sweedboro, NJ office, Sue was great, on time and professional. The Florida end was a bit less so. It was my understanding, that my box would be kept in a secure, climate controlled space. When I went to check on my box I found that It was kept in an open yard, with about 20 other boxes, in scorching Florida heat and torrential downpours, The young man that worked there was rather glib about it saying " we kept telling them we didn't have room for all these boxes they just kept sending more." I emailed U-haul about this at the end of July and go no response. Subsequently, 2 boxes in my U-Box, which contained candles are now infused with melted wax. Not a big loss, but other boxes had tears in their protective plastic cover and were wet. Good luck with those claims. My delivery was problematic, Every few weeks Candice called me to see if and when I needed deliver. I thought great she is proactive and taking care of my order. After I had gotten approval for my apartment on Friday August 18, I had scheduled delivery for Monday August 21 at 11am. It turns out that the office had me down for Tuesday the 22nd, and I did not see it on the confirmation.so my fault. I was also told that Candice, who does the deliveries, ( and I was also told she is the only person does deliveries) was off on Mondays. I rescheduled for Tuesday the 22nd at 8 am. At 10 am I called and was told that the delivery truck was in the shop. Nice job communicating. I had taken a second day off from work and had friends lined up to help me unload for a second day. I was told it would be fixed by 11, at 11 I was told it was still in the shop. After explaining that I had no choice and needed my box on that day. Candice did decided that she could use a trailer to deliver the box and finally made deliver at 1 pm. We had the box unloaded and she came to pick it up at 3 pm. I have to say that the confusion around the delivery and the fact that NO ONE RESPONDED to my email about the conditions in which the the box were stored are major strikes against what was really an easy process for me.Randall S.
Make different sizes. There is no way a four bedroom house with two children could have adequate space for the suggested 6 u-boxes. I filled the 5 I rented, filled my brother in law's trailer, plus 6 trips with loaded pickup trucks.Pat R.
