TERRIBLE Charge for what I did not used. Literally I moved 5 miles or less and they wanted me to pay like I moved to another state. Now I received a notification that I need to pay tools this is Crazy. I called many times no body call back TERRIBLE I will never ever use these people back again.

My boxes were sent separately and one box was sent after the guaranteed arrival time resulting in hundred of out of pocket cost due to the delay. The Takoma Park location also initially released my box to a person other than me without my consent when I selected self-delivery resulting in a substantial loss.

The Uhaul rep that assisted me was not helpful or customer friendly at all. I expressed my concern about possibly being overcharged. The representative was very dismissive and could not explain my charges clearly. In additioon he inaccurately charged for 2 gallons of gas, I was not impressed

Just try to check the ramps in all trucks because some of the truck is hard to get out , and other thing I renting many times and I don't have any discount in the milles,

Not one thing but what really made this move was the two Yung guys that were moving contractors that did the move by loading up the truck and unloading them flawlessly and made my day after all my stress they made me smile 😃 and the staff was number 1

When I arrived with my brother, there were 4 employees working the desks. One employee was helping a man. Another employee reluctantly helped me. The online reservation process was good. We had trouble finding the vehicle because the employee did not show us which one it was a we wasted about 10 mintues. The security guard was nice and ended up helping us find the truck. I would use this location again but the young lady who helped us can improve her customer service.

The customer service was excellent. The young lady that helped me was knowledgeable and kind. I would highly recommend the U haul business to anyone having a need for a moving truck company. I felt the cost of the mileage was too costly. I’m a senior citizen and am on a menial income. Thank you an in this world where you can be anything, always always be kind. Have a great week.

Dropped the truck off and was told everything was OK. A day and a half later the truck was still not checked in and I received notice until they finally checked it in.

Friendly staff. I was in and out in minutes. Trailer floor had a bit of sand and a strong smell of campfire smoke. I ventilated it for several hours and smell went down considerably. Otherwise great.

More accurate gasoline level. I was told I had to return 9/16 full but there was only a quarter tank actually in the truck when I picked up. Also return was haphazard. 2 trucks that arrived after me were addressed and processed before me.

Was not told I couldn't use cash app, and tthe document I received verifying the fuel level was wrong. It stated that I had a half a tank of fuel, when in fact it was 1/4 less, which means, the fuel level wasn't verified at the previous drop off. I dropped the vehicle off with well over a half a tank, and was refunded $49.00, Overall 3.5, out of 5 stars!

Upon my arrival, access to car parking was blocked by Uhaul and other vehicles double parked with no Uhaul personnel around to direct. I had no choice but to park in lot reserved for Uhaul trucks or double park causing more chaos. I waited in line for over 20 minutes. The location was under staffed.

every uhaul location has given me problems, this one went a bit smoother than other locations but i paid for blankets and never got them and then had to pay for them because they thought i stole them

Hello, as your records will show i use your service at this location several times a year. It's convenient for me and I like the people at this location generally. They are very professional my experiences has been quick and very pleasant. This location seems to have a high turnover. This particular experience ended very unpleasantly because of what I now "believe" was a stolen item I mistakenly left in your rented vehicle. My cell phone was left behind by mistake because i was running after a local bus that takes me home from that location which is only a couple of miles away (mind you). About halfway to my destination I discovered my phone was left in the truck. Rather than getting off the bus and waiting for another to take me back I felt it best to continue to get my car and then return to retrieve my property, after all when i returned the truck the service guy and the security personnel were right there a couple of feet away at check-in. I even handed the key to the security personnel who was standing right there by the truck I returned and because of that fact I didn't panic when I realized i left my phone in the center cup holder in your vehicle. I was away for 20 minutes tops...when I got back I noticed the truck I rented was checked in and ready to be rented again. At this point, I'm sure they have the phone inside and are waiting for me to come pick it up. But to my amazement nobody new or saw anything. I find that so hard to believe. The conversation I had with both the security guard and your employees, were confusing an aluth at best. I hope someone get back to me about this soon. I've made a copy of this and will be forwarding it to a number of poeple within the organization. Sincerely, a repeat long time customer.

I reserved a dolly online only to find out they were sold out. I drove out there specifically thinking I could get a dolly with a truck to help me with my move. Then not having any almost ruined my entire move in process, if possible, try and make sure the website is updated with recent information on inventory.

I had made a reservation for a u-haul truck, one furniture dolly, one appliance dolly, and furniture pads two weeks before I needed them. I called three days before my reservation to make sure the Takoma u-haul location had my reservation and had the utilities and materials I had reserved. U-haul confirmed that the items in my reservation would be there at when I reserved them. When I arrived to pick up the items I had reserved, I was informed that the Takoma Park location did not have any dollies, nor did any other u-haul locations in the area. What can u-haul do to improve for the next customer? Make sure that each customer's reservation is ready to go day of pick-up or else what is the point of having a reservation and confirming the materials will be there to the customer.

Everyone at this location was excellent to work with but I’d like to personally recognize Bashir who has gone above and beyond in his customer service. Friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. This is how customer service should be handled. I will return and look forward to working with him again.

They called to deliver the unit on a different day than scheduled. They were supposed to deliver between 9:30a-11:30a. They didn’t arrive until 12:30 & Unit wasn’t delivered until 5p. Pickup was late.

My experience is in regards to my overall uBox experience versus just the Takoma Park location. UHaul told me and my moving help that the uBox would be delivered to the Chillum Rd location. Incorrect

Driver, Maurice, was awesome and very polite. One suggestion - you should get trailer hitch locks. Easy to potentially have someone come and hook up the trailer and tow away the entire box!

I rented two uboxes that were stored at my home for two months. Delivery and pick up was great, thanks to Janal. The office staff communication was the worst i have ever encountered!!!

Ubox not delivered to the facility listed in arrival confirmation email, were told it might be lost. Delivery scheduled for 12pm - delivered at 9pm after many calls. Mouse droppings were found.

The UHAUL of TAKOMA PARK at 6889 New Hampshire Ave. is the BEST/ TOP store I have ever visited. Their workers are professional, polite and very helpful. They made my relocation move more pleasant.
