Extremely port customer service. There were no employes in the U-haul store when we arrived. After waiting about 10 minutes, I noticed a U-haul employee in the lot. I walked out to him and tried to get his attention, he just looked at me and turned and walked away. Eventually he came back in the store and claimed he could not find our reservation. After a few minutes he 'found' it. He made it very clear that he didn't not want to be disturbed to rent a trailer to us.Steven R.

Pick up was on a sunday, no one arrived to open the place until after 9am. One person at the desk with a long line of customers waiting. Female at front desk was very disheveled looking (hair was sticking stright up, no bra on, dirty shirt). She was very friendly. One other male working passing out the rentals outside who did not appear to know where anything was. Needed at least two more people working as it took 45 mins to pick up something we had pre-reserved.Tina A.

Check in was extremely slow considering I had completed the process online. I was asked the same questions at the office and the person checking me in was trying to manage checking in two customers atbthe same time. The computer quit working at one point. The rental itself was fine.Eugene S.

I rented a small box truck and used it for 1 hour. I went a total of 18 miles and was charged 3 gallons of gas . When asked how many miles the truck gets per gallon I was told less than 7 .. One hour usage and 73.00 later .. I went 18 miles total .. ridiculousDebbie A.

The truck I rented was pretty rough(98,500 miles). It performed totally fine, but it was pretty beat up. Significant body damage and it had a vey loud exhaust leak which calmed dow as it warmed up. The lady who checked me out at time of pickup was awesome in every way. Same with drop off check in this morning. The gentleman was very organized, professional and thorough. Would definitely rent at this location again.David G.

I've used this U-Haul location several times and always have received excellent, friendly service. Today, in particular, Victoria and a gentleman whose name I do not know went above and beyond the ordinary to help me, in the pouring rain, while they were swamped with customers . This location was great. The overall process of booking online then trying to check in via the phone is very cumbersome. I honestly bailed midway and reverted to regular check in. The concept of checking in online is to streamline the process, and with U-Haul, it does not streamline anything. This is where improvement needs to occur. Thank youNANCY K.

Equipment was good but paperwork experience was not. Required 2 other names to lease a trailer. Had the trailer for 22 hours. Returned it and was told they didn't have time to give me a receipt. They would email me one. Finally received the receipt a day later and they charged be for the trailer upbtobthe time they finalized the receipt. Therefore was charged for two days, not one. Called and was told they needed up to 72 hours to check it out and provide a credited if warranted. Poor customer service.Eugene S.

There was only one person working which held up the time to get the rental quite a bit. Actually stood in the main store for about 15 min before anyone ever came inside to help us. He did not have one bit of customer service. Why in the heck do you need 2 contacts? Was put off by this. I give you my credit card and drivers license. Best just to give you bogus names and phone #'s. I don't need my relatives or friends bothered because I am renting a Uhaul.Michael D.

Make sure the a/c works properly. It was a very long drive and sometimes dangerous in the rain. The vent mode motor will not change . Could not get air out of vents to defog the windshield. The vehicle was very uncomfortable to drive in cab temperature wise. This should be somewhat of a partial refundjason F.

The associate we worked with was extremely unhelpful and rude. He even gave us incorrect information, that we could drop off our Uhaul whenever we wanted when we were done. He did not mention the wrong location fee.Jenna G.

Low staff so I didnt even get my truck until an hour after my reservation started. Also no clear directions on where the truck was so I was wondering outside looking. No dolly in truck but guy inside said it should be there but if not come back in. Other trucks were parked in front of mine so I couldn't leave and they gave me the keys and told me to move the other truck up a bit and then give the keys back to an employee out there. Luckily another employee moved the truck for me but this was not a great experience.Tim K.

My biggest issue was I thought I was renting the moving truck for a day. Uhaul gives standard prices from $19.99 to $39.00. I think most people would take that a whole day. I picked up the truck at approximately 2:00 p.m. and drove to KCKS loaded and the to KC north. I got back to the lot at appromately 7:30 pm. I had problems with the "APP" maybe because there was 50 mph winds and rain and they were trying to send a password to my email, which I did not have access to on my phone. So ittook me approximately 45 mins to finally complete the drop off procedure. So I was charged for an extra day, including insurance. I actually put more gas in the truck than I used. I didn't expect to get it back. But I also don't think I should be charged for an extra day. It not like the office was open to rent the truck to anyone else.Alexander C.

Get rid of the wise guy on Saturday mornings. A customer shouldn't have to wait over 5 minutes for help when no one is around. The gas tank was not full even though the needle was barely touching the full mark within 10 miles it already had dropped to just above 3/4 tank. I made my appointment to pickup the truck at 2:30. The movers (i have been renting storage) were to arrive at 3pm. I arrived early and the desk was busy. I told them i would go outside to my unit and return shortly. Long story short, busy busy busy, movers got there and had to wait for over 30 minutes. They gave me a key and pointed in that direction. Communication was horrible until things got in the last-minute and the manager at the Tiffany Springs location absolutely disrespectful and belittling. The staff outside of him were professional though. I honestly hate that I chose that location and uhaul all together for my storage. I may not have ended my terms with them in the best manor but honestly after the process I had with them followed with the grand finally unprofessional conversation (or lack of) that I had with the manager, I was sadly just over it in total. I will say that the facility as far as the units were clean and again the staff were professional once you did get them on the phone but thinking of the manager and his conduct frustrates me till this moment.camille f. | Overall Experience

The staff were very helpful and kind. The facility itself needs improvement, starting with elevators. It was explained prior to reserving that the elevators were being renovated. I decided to continue because the apartment I was living out off was literally across the street from the facility. Convenience kept my business. The only hiccup I had was when I went to return the truck and unpack into storage, there was construction blocking the particular storage unit. Therefore, we weren't able to unpack that day.
