Both the pickup and drop off locations were acceptable and satisfactory. I was however disappointed by U-Haul in general on this trip. I received several text message offers for ridiculously low (even insulting) to tow a trailer from one location to another. Considering the cost of fuel, the offers would not have come close to covering the added fuel this would have cost me and this would not have accounted for the extra time or inconvenience this would have caused.Robert U.

The staff was awesome! Barb did a great job calling the day before to secure the trailer and answered all my questions the day of the rental. Andy was very professional and helpful hooking up the trailer and making sure everything was working properly before I pulled off the lot. I was very impressed with the professionalism of both Barb and Andy and how friendly they both were. I definitely would recommend this location to everyone I know!!Jim E.

Manager ask me to provide 2nd and 3rd emergency contact which never happened before with me in different locations. It was pretty hard for me because I do not have any relatives and I gave a friend contact. So in case if you do not have 3rd emergency contact- you are out! This is not what I expected.Sergei L.

Truck at the wrong location got it moved. Then got truck without dolly even though we payed for it. Truck handled terrible causing the ride to be a pain. Truck had less than a quarter of gas in it. So we used almost none of it but were charged for having less than a quarter in the tank even though that's how we got it. They tried to claim we scratched the truck despite the scratch being there previously. All and all terrible experience and walked away paying 100 dollars more then originally told.Blake P.

Our Ubox was scheduled to arrive on a Saturday but it never showed up. As the days went by we didn't hear from UHaul. We had to call ourselves and reschedule for the box to be delivered. Then, Uhaul wanted to pick the box up the very next day, which would give us less than 24 hours to unload the box which is hard when I work full time. We had to call back and reschedule pick up. I would love to see a discount since I paid over $1,600 for this and was very disappointed in how the service ended. Thank you.Shaun N.

Should have trucks fueled up. Correct mileage readings on equipment. Make sure the customer has enough miles to drive to pickup load, drive load to destination and get equipment back to drop off store. Was quoted 76 miles. Pick up store to drop off store was 68miles. Place is a rip off.Garrett N.

Website failed multiple times at reserving truck., ended up with two for the same event. Pickup instructions were not clear. Live onsite agents were of COMPLETELY NO HELP with online check-in. Helpbthe Uhaul guys in Platte City, MO figure out the correct way to rent a truck. I went there first, and they were going to charge me $319.00, and only give me 41 free miles. I was going to go ahead and rent it, but they wouldnt accept my debit card because my bank declined payment until i could put my pin number in and they wouldn't let me do it. The only hiccup I had was when I went to return the truck and unpack into storage, there was construction blocking the particular storage unit. Therefore, we weren't able to unpack that day. The truck was defective. Made a horrible screeching sound when driven at 60 miles an hour. Didn't want to be left stranded so returned it to location. They did give me another truck (much better truck) but then I had to recruit friends to help switch my stuff to the new truck. It put me 7 hours behind, in my move across country. My wife and i just wanted to make sure we made you aware of how wonderful one of the employees at this Tiffany Springs location was. I am assuming he is a manager of some sort but his name escapes us both (long weekend). He was a taller man with a moustache and a goatee if that helps. We were there on two occasions this weekend and he happened to be there both times. Our first encounter, we were being helped by someone else and he was helping an older couple that came in and they were very upset and worried and he completely de-escalated the situation and you could see the worry leave from both of their faces. He was very professional and genuinely kind to them. We had him the following day and he greeted us with a smile and was genuinely nice to us and you could tell he cared. I just wanted to compliment him and make you aware of how good of an employee you currently have at this location. In a world where customer service and kindness is a lost art, you have found a needle in a haystack. Please please please let your employee know how great of a job he did and how impressed my wife and I both were.Zachary W.
