wanted a 19.95 truck was given a 29.95 truck then was given a 17" truck. only had a loveseat and full size bed. drove it 21 miles. ins. 14. put 8.73 worth of gas in it. was charged 70.01 later charged 10 dollars for something. idk. i should have paid 19.95 for truck and the 10 charge for something idk. i really would like to be refunded thirty dollars. that would make me happy. thank you. theresa r. price

I spoke to a great guy this morning. When I came back I sat in the vehicle for approximately 20 minutes before going into the store to check out. Charged in case I went further (this morning) 79.59 - refunded 9.96? Says and advertised as 19.95 for all day. I had the vehicle from pick up - 8:15- Returned @ 11:35 could have until 1pm mind you. When I picked up the vehicle the gas mileage was 2675.4. When I returned the vehicle with a full tank of gas the mileage was 2722.8. =47.4 miles of usage totaling at .60 per mile - 28.02 (huge rip off if using for a day - mileage should be free if I'm bringing it back filled up.) So 19.95 (vehicle rental)+10.00 (rental insurance) = 29.95 Me paying full tank of gas 10.75 So 29.95 (rental & Insurance) + 28.02 (@ .60 per mile for 47 miles) = 58.15 79.59-58.15= 21.44 Not 9.26 The vehicle was clean and no damage. Won't be renting from y'all again.

Everything went smoothly except for the end of the contract. I just wanted the u-boxes for temporary on-site storage. Once I was done with the boxes, uhaul continued to charge me for their use. It was difficult to end the contract. I couldn't figure out how to do it on line. In the end, everything got resolved but it took several phone calls over the course of a month to get it all straightened out.

The experience overall was excellent. The truck ran very well. My one complaint is that the previous user of the truck apparently had a chain-smoking party in the back of the truck before turning it in. The cigarette smoke smell was strong

The people are rude and unprofessional. The truck I rented defeated my purpose of renting it because it did not have a ramp on the back. I also believe the odometer is off and the app doesn't work well. I sat outside for an hour trying to check in I would not return for future service nor will I refer anyone to uhaul. I have complained before on a previous order and no one contacted me about my response and still took my money highly disappointed.

In the past, I've had good service from this location when picking up and dropping off. During the recent drop-off of a trailer, Saturday, November 28, I entered the building and stated my business. Latasha told me to leave the trailer in some location that probably made sense to her, but not to me. I mentioned that I can wait as I want the trailer inspected and a digital receipt sent. She did not reply, she just continued about her business. At the time, there were three agents at computers, there were customers at two of the agent's computers, and me standing off to the side. After several minutes, five to ten, Latasha then picked up a cell phone and began talking and walked past me and exited the building. I stood there for a few seconds and thought, well, perhaps she is going to the location or she's going to take care of something else. I had no idea, so I walked out the same door and she was still on the phone, facing away, then she started walking to where some trucks were parked under a veranda. She stood there for a period of time, then turned around and looked at me and stretched her arms out to her side, like a tee, in a gesture that I interpreted exactly as, "WTH stupid, are you coming over here or not?" So, I got in my vehicle and pulled the trailer around to where she was, still talking on a cell phone - and as I pulled around, I told myself, keep your cool. I got out and she asked me if there were any problems. I told her, "the trailer performed fine, but the customer service is severely lacking. This is not what I have experienced the last several times I have used this location." She just looked at me, so I started unhooking the trailer. I then asked her if she wanted to put a stand under the tongue or put it on the ground. She mentioned that she was the one that should be unhooking the trailer and she picked up the trailer tongue and put it on the ground. She asked me if there would be anything else. I mentioned I would like for her to send the receipt now, like the agents have done in the past, and she said she will get to that later. So, as I drove away, I wondered if there were another local small business I can rent trailers from, or should I just go ahead and buy one.

There needs to be more communication about delivery. All I was given was a day of delivery with no specific time. I assumed I would have been given a call with adequate time before the drop off delivery, however no one called and the driver showed up unannounced. The pickup was much better because we were given a 20 minute heads up. I have been waiting to hear about a refund for some damaged locks on my shipping containers but have heard nothing about that. I just feel that for the price of services that communication and assistance should be much higher.

This was a great experience starting in Lynchburg VA, the manager Greg himself spent time and brought me my containers. He explained how the process worked and then returned to pick them up when ready. Greg was well informed, helpful and very courteous. My container arrived with everything INTACT!! Nothing was damaged, I had several glass items, mirrors and fragile items, nothing had shifted or been damaged. The Boise Id team was also very nice and polite. Definitely would use again and I highly recommend this way of moving across country!

Clear out the return lane. Both times I've rented a trailer I've been told to drop it under the cover in the return lane but when I return the line is backed up almost to the road. Very small complaint because this place does a great job and will continue to use this location

Your staff needs a lot of work. 1st off you don’t have enough to serve your customers I waited for 45 mins and then had to deal with a very rude lady behind the counter for another 45 mins. I was hoping this was going to be a quick in and out process. 2nd your large truck sounds like death. The check oil light was on, when it runs it bangs and clanks, when it stops it jerks and pulls like your not going to stop. This could use work. I came to you for a clean, friendly, fast, reliable service. While the truck was clean, and the facilities are super clean, the staff is not friendly, reliable or fast. This is not our first issue. We reserved a UHaul UBox from this facility, I called to confirm all was well, when my husband when to pick it up, he couldn’t because that facility didn’t have the equipment. Instead of offering to correct it they said sorry nothing we can do and we left: I called 2 additional facilities and finally was able to get in touch with a phone rep who actually helped fix the mistake. I think if you had more friendly staff members you would be able to avoid a lot of headaches

I reserved a storage unit online yesterday with my credit card and came in today to get a lock and start storing. There were two men and a woman there who I believe was the manager. The man who I initially went to at the register was not wearing a mask or a name badge. He told me that I would have to pay cash or come back tomorrow to pay for the storage because the card reader was broken. I asked if I could go see the unit, he sent me the wrong direction, wrong building. I came back, he just sat there and told me I was not looking hard enough. The other man who was finishing up with another customer asked what number I had and told me where to go. He later came out and helped me find the unit and I told him what happened with not being able to pay by credit card which was putting me in a dilemma with my plans to store. He told me he could check and enter my card into their computer system manually for me if needed. His name was Dustin, he was very helpful and the only one there wearing a face mask and name badge. So we went back inside, the manager and other man were clearly upset I was being helped by Dustin. The manager tried to block Dustin from the register saying she was using it (but there were no other customers at the time) and the other man who insisted I pay cash or come back tomorrow were both clearly upset towards Dustin because was helping me. Dustin checked me in, manually entered my credit card and gave me my paperwork. Dustin was very professional and gave good customer service despite his co worker and supervisor being negative towards him for helping me. My heart goes out to Dustin for helping me when clearly no one else in the building wanted to. What was immensely upsetting to me was the way the manager and other man were hostile towards Justin for simply doing his job and providing good customer service, something that neither of the other two wanted to do. I think this UHaul needs to be investigated further, 1st because of the man who insisted I pay cash or come back tomorrow, 2nd for poor management for creating and facilitating a hostile work environment towards the one person there actually doing work and providing good customer service, 3rd for not both these employees not wearing name badges. The whole requiring cash seemed dishonest knowing that the info can be typed into the computer. Thank you Dustin for providing good customer service in a hostile environment, I hope the corporate office takes notice and supports you. I also filed a complaint regarding what I observed and hope you are not subject to that type of hostility from management or your co workers in the future. No one deserves to be treated that way, not you or I.

The staff doesn’t appear to be connected to the online options. When I checked out online I still had to go to the store and check out. The staff advised they didn’t see the online checkout notifications. You also should not have to pay to use the dumpster. It should be included in the cost of the storage unit rental. $8.00 to throw out a bar stool is shameful.

Called 3 days ago to plan to unload my ubox and reserved a unit to put it in. Was told it would be ready for me. Got there on the day. One person for 20 minutes helping one person. Huge line. Finally got another person, called me to the front and told me he didn't know how to help me so I had to wait for the other guy dealing with an issue with a customer. After an hour of waiting, told the guy I wanted to unload my ubox and get my reserved unit. He said ok and went to get it. After 45 minutes he told me he couldn't find it and gave me his managers phone number and said he couldn't do anything and I'd have to come back another. Called Shamika, the manager. She said sorry no one there to find ubox, I'll call you back in 5 minutes. I had to call her after 15 minutes because she didn't call back. Said sorry, can't get any one. Wasted 2 hours of my day and the 5 people who were there with me to unload. I asked if she could have someone call me when they found it. She said yes. Next day, I get a call at 445pm asking if I was going to come unload my ubox because they close at 5 and had it waiting for me all day. I said someone was supposed to call me when it was ready. She said it was a miscommunication and it was ready but no one called. Another day wasted. Horrible communication, lack of training, no follow through, and nothing was offered to make up for any of this. Horrible service and awful experience. I'm only going to continue to use uhaul this time because my stuff is already there. I won't be using it again unless something is done to make up for this fiasco.

The gentleman - I emphasize gentle, who has only been employed there for one month, was amazing. He did not say how can I help you he asked "how can I serve you" and with a warm inviting smile. His blue glasses added a touch of class as well. You might say I am going over board, however, I am not saying enough. Great job to whomever hired him. I cannot wait to relocate to this awesome city. Great Customer service. Friendly staff. However, they need to improve parking in front of storage building. I had a 26ft truck and it was impossible for me to maneuver to unload truck due to the layout of the parking lot. I got internal storage and the entrance was hard to get to because there were cars parked in parking spaces too close to building to safely maneuver a 26ft truck.

Anytime I went to the office for assistance, no one would be around. There's a shortage of help. When I wanted to end my unit, I tried to call and the wait time was over 20 mins. You need people.
