This was my first and last time renting from uhaul...the truck i was given the heat only worked on high and the inside lights didn't work neither did the cab lights we was unable to move that night. The next day i told the clerk at the store he went and checked out the truck and told me all the bulbs had to be replaced, i than talked to the manager he never looked at me and kept working on the computer saying you can't prove they was not working and basically said goodbye, i felt so disrespected and like they had my money now ....the manger was very unprofessional. I feel because I was a woman I was treated this way.

They did not have the car dolly hooked up correctly. They hooked the car up for us, told us we were good to go and sent us on our way. If we hadn't stopped when we did to check on everything we wouldn't have noticed that the strap came off and chain on the other side came off. We had to stop every 50-100 miles to tighten the strap or put it back on. We called the help line a couple of times and both uhaul centers we were sent to were closed... and we were given a 3 hr wait time for roadside. I missed work because it took us so long to get home.

The location itself was top notch. The personnel were far from it, rude and disrespectful. I booked through for the truck and assistance loading and unloading. The guys arrived to unload at 854 Sunday morning and finished about 940. The guy from Timberlake called about 950 reading me the riot act saying the truck was due at 9am, threw the rental contract in my face and charged me for an extra day when I dropped the truck off at 1010 (had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to come out and check me in). You have a problem with your booking tool. How is it my responsibility to return the truck at 9am when the unloading service I booked through you hadn't even arrived yet? I did not feel like my business was valued and will not use u-haul again in the future because of the man at the Timberlake location. I called your 800# to dispute the charge for the extra day. The service was pretty good. April resolved my issue by refunding the additional day charge; however she told me she'd give me a return call with the resolution and instead several hours passed and I eventually received an email. My complaint about the poor customer experience went unaddressed.

The paperwork contained inaccurate information. It said the gas tank was half but it was way below that. The mileage was more than what was indicated. I felt this was a deliberate attempt to steal money from me.

I’m sure nobody actually takes these seriously, but my husband rented a uhaul on nov 30th and it broke down on us. We had to wait an hour and half for someone to come. They had told us to return it by 8 pm instead of the 4pm on the contract and they even initialed it and put 8pm, but they still charged us for 2 days. Never offered anything for having it break down and us waiting in the cold with a small child that long. With my rental I returned yesterday they charged me for two days even though they left a voicemail saying not to return it because of the snow until yesterday at 4:45. They never do what they say and they do not compensate for their mistakes.
