Hey guys, so showed up at the located at 6:45 on last Thursday. Now online the store website lists the hours as closing at 10, but upon arrival I was met with hostility by the sales associate, larger gentleman. Anyways, literally told me he cannot rent me the trailer and that I should leave, I had reserved it online with my MasterCard, and upon dealing with the associate I guess the system was seeing my MasterCard as a debit card so then required a damage waiver of some sort. He would not take it off my MasterCard or Visa, due to a "system error" he kept saying, and I was instructed to pay the 20$ or leave, and they close in 10 minutes... Having little choice I then ponied up the additional 20$ seeing as I now had 5minutes to hook up the trailer and leave before they closed. By far my worst experience at U-Haul. Seems you need a software update form your system to better recognize MasterCard's and Visa cards from different financial institutions.

Edward YI know the trucks have a lot of mileage and it’s not always easy to maintain but mine had the check engine light (it could have come on after I left) and the wheel may have not been balanced recently. I drove one from Moncton to Montreal recently and it was pretty solid.

ARLENE Ainside the cab of the van ( steering wheel etc. ) was very sticky and greasy , had to clean ot with Lysol.
Veronica EStaff need to communicate when renting out equipment, truck was not up to par had bad wipers, could not drive at night could not see the road lights on truck was bad, had to stop driving at night could not see road with the lights the condition they were in even high beams didn’t help. Everyone I talked to from NB to Hamilton always got different excuses or they didn’t know. This has left a terrible taste in my mouth. Would I use them again to travel that long of a distance PROBABLY NOT!

MARIE AThe lady at the desk was welcoming. Unfortunately, the trailer had a little hole in the roof that was not documented. I noticed it after leaving the store. The gentleman heping to hook the trailer made me feel uncomfortable, almost unsafe. It might be a cultural issue though.

Maria HI had an unpleasant expirience, as I had made my reservations weeks prior to the 29th. My rental was not available at Wanamaker at Naugiwauk and tossed around about 4 different locations. Eventually I had to travel from Hampton Nb to Moncton to pick the truck and even that whilst on my way I had about 3 calls telling me that the truck was not available, whilst on my way to monton I had turn back to Hampton after a uhaul rep called me that the truck is no longer available as if that was not enough, whilst in Norton i had a call again to return I spoke with Damien at the scheduling dept and that was a great help. Even with my drop off, it was also challenging . This has really cost me soo much that ......

Tom C | Overall ExperienceOne inner dually tire on the truck was essentially flat with at most 5 PSI, which is likely why the outer was illegally worn. One of two required bolts was missing from the trailer support used when it isn't attached to the truck. Otherwise, all was good.

MARK MThe manager and staff at this location were outstanding. Everyone was polite, professional, and extremely helpful. They answered all my questions and made the entire rental process smooth and hassle-free. They connected the trailer for me and explained everything clearly. Before I left, they noticed a small hole at the bottom of the trailer and ensured it was repaired immediately. The trailer was in excellent condition and made my move much easier. Overall, I had a great experience and would highly recommend this location.

There are constantly potable storage containers taking up the floor space in the bays which is so frustrating. The selling feature was the drive in bays and yet only one out of 4 is usually functional. Please get the storage boxes out of the loading bays.

The only disappointment is that you can only utilize one of four garage door bays because there are portable storage containers sitting in the other 3 bays, preventing entry for customer vehicles. Access to this area is really compromised, although it is touted as a selling feature of the facility. These containers should be removed. Similar containers were outside of the building in the parking lot so these ones should be as well. It was difficult to unload my items with all of the containers sitting inside the bays. It is such a large facility that you need all bays accessible, especially with the cold weather approaching.

Uhaul support was supposed to put us in touch with the manager to get access, but we never got contacted. There were 2 other families there at the same time with the exact same problem because the provided access hours were incorrect. Exterior of the building also very clearly says "drive-in storage", but it's definitely not drive-in, you park outside and cart everything in...
