Don't lie to your customers. I asked the attendant while in the store if I could return the trailer after 7p. I was told "yes, not a problem. Just leave it out front." Woke up the next morning with $20 after-hours return fee. Really sleezy way to get a couple extra bucks and to lose customers. Last time I'll be using uhaul.Mitchell H.

Low tire, check engine light, and one unidentifiable light we're on at pick up. Was on a time restriction so had to go with it. It won't deter me from coming back, staff is super friendly and always helpful and courteous.Kelly T.
The truck started turning off at stops then today it wouldn't start at all. I had to wait 20 mins to get in touch with someone. Then it took over an hour for roadside assistance to show up and then he had to go to the store and get a starter and install it this took 2.5 hours today out of my move time .Jessica O.

Everything about the rental went great and efficient but the only thing is that I was told that since I returned the trailer a day early I would be charged for only the days I used and not the last day I didn't use but I was still charged for all of the 12 days instead of 11.David P.

Inside windshield of truck was extremely dirty with water spots everywhere, making a long drive frustrating and more difficult when it got dark. The facility was busy and didn't seem very well organized to get through the line in a timely fashion. The manager seemed more concerned about telling customers they were short staffed and running behind than actually hustling to get things squared away.Matthew G.

The location is too small to handle the amount of business they have in the morning. There was only 1 person working on a Saturday morning. Then once people obtained their U-HAUL (40 minutes later), it took another 10+ minutes to leave the parking lot since people were parked everywhere. The employees were very accommodating, pleasant, and prompt but there isn't much you can do with 1 employee untill 11am and very little space to work with.TYLER P.

Right turn signal wouldn't work on the trailer. So the lot team member cleaned the connection on my car and also checked the fuses. That didn't fix the issue. A vendor was waiting, so the manager had the team member help him while he, the manager (Steve) found out that my blinker problem was due to an insufficient grounding. We had to keep it an extra night! Was SEVERELY . overcharged. Let them know what was going on! Didn't ask for the insurance and charged us for three days of itâ€¦we were only going a few miles. So an extra $42. This is the second time we ordered a Uhaul in Belton and had to pick it up either in another STATE(Kansas) or 13 miles back and forth. I was completely dissatisfied….I didn’t use my storage for a full month and was charged for a full month….I also was unable to get my things out of storage for 1 full week because of the parking lot asphalt being replaced and painted….there was no warning or head up notices for this work being done….July 31st I was surprised to see the place was coned off to access the facility…I was told by august 4th that I would have access….on august 4th I was told I wouldn’t have access until august 6th….the results of me hiring movers twice, no access twice, not using the unit for a month, not having access for a week, and not being compensated for time and money I spent, I wouldn’t recommend this place at all….and I will be contacting corporate to make another complain about this situation…Harlon B. | Overall Experience

The U-Haul “System” seems to be pretty poor. When I reserved a trailer in Birmingham AL to move sone things to Grandview MO, they asked if I needed any storage. I reserved a storage space at Truman Corners in Grandview but when I arrived there to turn the trailer in, they said there were no unit’s available. It was only because of the General Manager’s efforts to work out a solution for me that it worked out at all. Great job by the manager but pretty poor job by U-Haul. The staff at U-Haul said this is not uncommon. The U-Haul reservation system seems to be the problem. That is not good customer service or good business practice. Great job by the GM and one other staff person at Truman Corners for finding me a storage solution.David K. | Overall Experience

Only problem occurred at Kenesaw,GA where we stopped for a minor repair at a major dealer. When we arrived I was questioned why I was there. I said we had a problem with the trailer.
