I felt taken advantage of. The truck barely had 1/8 the of a gallon in it and on the contract the attended marked 1/4 full. My first thoughts were that this large of a truck shouldn't be sent out to acustomer with such a low gas level that looked to me at maybe 1/8 but really not much above the empty line. The attendent did not go over the contract with me, just asked my signature on the damage receipt and folded it and handed me the packet. When I first arrived he was going to charge me 29.99 for a truck that I was acknowledged reserving for 19.99. Them there was a disagreement with the corresponding "insurance" quote. When I saw the gas level In the truck I was surprised the company or the previous renter would have the truck available with a full tank. Since my overall travel would be just 27 miles I thought the worst I'd have to add was 2 gallons. When I returned the truck the attendent noted it was not a 1/4 and told me the owner would charge me up to $60 to add gas to my contract. I was upset to hear this. He said it needed to be at 1/4 just as he had sent the truck Out at. I immediately told him it barely had an 1/8th. So he showed me the contract...very small print) which he didn't show me Beira stating he had marked 1/4 tank. I told him "you know that's not right" but he said it's on the contract and if it's not at 1:4 the owner will charge you up to $60. Another attended with him agreed. So I took the truck and added $12 more gas, plenty enough to handle the 37 miles driven. So 1) I'd have the attendent go over the contract with each customer showing the charges. 2) I'd have the trucks filled with enough gas to get a renter going and to agree on the registering amount. ( I told him it wasn't a 1:4 but he said it doesn't show it exactly. 3) if a customer is required to bring back a truck filled to 1/4, why wasn't this one registering 1/4 when I got possession? I realize this is after the fact and squabbling over $10-15 isn't that significant ( to me) as much as the feeling I came away from this business was that the gas issue may be a formula this location uses to scam A few more dollars. The combination of mischarging a quote and trying to get a few more gallons out of a rental adds up To a lack of confidence in this operation. My 27 miles driven turning into $12 plus dollars of additional refueling at worst equates to $6 a gallon used where gas in approx $2.18. So my overall experience leaves me with a bad taste.

Have people checking in move trucks all the way forward so that others can pull in without straight up blocking traffic. I waited ten minutes stuck and unable to let any cars through.

The team was great. The process was a bit slow because the computers weren't working & the guys were doing all they could to get us on the road. The cab of the truck had a smoke smell in it, which I'm not sure what your policy is on smoking in them. I'm just sensitive to it but we only used it for a quick move.

Very poor, unprofessional customer service. I could NEVER get the store manager to return my call. I definitely would NOT use uhaul again. Also, I just discovered another charge from uhaul and the truck has been returned two days ago. Two different customer service representatives sent emails to the store manager at the Blue Ridge location and still I have NOT heard from them. I had a family emergency this weekend and I will address this issue just as soon as I'm finished with the funeral.

The self pick-up was pretty cool. Still ended up waiting in line because the truck was not where the check in process indicated it would be in the parking lot. But it was a smooth process and very helpful staff! Thank you!

I had a confirmed reservation for a 15 ft truck. When I got to uhaul I was told that you didn't have any and I would have to use the 10 ft truck. I was also told that my mileage would be adjusted and it was not.

Initially the trailer was not clean the employee had to sweep it out while I wait . Also I asked the gentleman to check the tires for proper pressure he appeared to be irritated or upset that I made that request said he had other customers to see about .

The truck cab was filthy, we had to sweep the cargo bay out upon pickup, I ordered 36 pads and we were only given 21. I didn't notice the shortage because the pads were just piled in the truck, unfolded. It wasn't until after we began loading the truck we noticed the number missing. It's unacceptable that customers are charged $25 for an unswept cargo bay and unfolded pads when they return equipment, but customers are given equipment below Uhaul standards when they pick up. Additionally, we were told the employees at the location would help get our vehicle secured on the car tow for us. Both front wheel straps came off during transit and my husband had to pull over to fix them.

I couldn't get in contact with this location on the phone at all. I called customer service serval times to receive a call back but never got one. Plus the fact it took them over 3 days to check my truck in and tell me what I owe. And on top of that they never called me back like I asked serval times for my payment they emailed me instead. I was very dissatisfied and will not be using this location ever again.
