The customer service was standard at most , the reasoning for the 1/5 is based on your companies ability to manage accommodations based on the poor reservation website. I spend most of my morning calling back and forth from location asking why my reservation location and drop of was changed along with the time. What is the point of a reservation? This is something that should be taken care of by the locations who are unable to take the reservation and set it up to where the customer is not doing their job.

I only wanted to warn them that the trailer bakes didn't work and that i had shot a brand new set of pads on my tundra when i was told by an employee that this trailer had emergency brakes only after I suggesting that the brakes be looked at. He was completely unaware, i am being generous that he was ignorant of the concept of surge brakes, that this trailer was so equipped. I was perfectly happy to just tell you guys it needed help but after that dressing down by your uniformed employee I would really like to hear back from you and at least reclaim the 20 dollars it cost me to park it and get new brakes to get it back to you.

The online registration and the pick-up with the app was awesome and time saving.

make sure all of your staff are properly trained in how to check in and out the uboxes. I ended up not getting properly checked out, and they put me in another ubox I had never used and continued to try and charge me, even though the one I had used was already rented out to another customer. Then they were very rude over the phone saying my lock was still on the box so they were going to continue to charge me. I had to leave work early and take my lock in to prove I myself. They did refund me for the extra month charged, but refused to refund me for time not used after I had all my stuff out of my original box. I had used uhaul for all my moving needs prior to this, but I will never use you again, nor will I make any more recommendations.

Not sure if understaffed or what? Waited 15 min before I went and asked to return the truck. Two people looked at me and then turned thier heads never even said hello. It was aweful as a customer.

We pulled in as an employee was leaving at the end of her shift (or so it appeared), instead of getting into her car to head out, she stopped and helped us check-in the vehicle. Very quick, friendly, and helpful.

Upon arrival the first trailer had lights not working and instead of offering to come in and see what was available he started rattling off trailer sizes and asked what we wanted but kept saying not sure what’s available. After going inside and the original lady took back over she found us an available working trailer and on our way.

The self-check in,Per your app, I can just go to the counter, and inform them that I did the self check in, and get my key. I had to wait in line, as there was 2 people at the counter, and 1 working.

Only complaint is they did not go over the vehicle with me, it had some damage, but we called and it was documented. Also truck was missing convex mirror on right side. I thought that was weird but didn't know there should have been one there until I got to drop off location. However overall I was very satisfied, equipment was ready and service was timely. They helped me choose best rates etc. and answered all my questions.

Your roadside assistance is horrible. I spent almost 2 hours on the side of an extremely busy four lane highway while waiting to get ahold of someone to help. Your online service would not pick up my location so I had to call it in and was on hold for 40 minutes before even talking to anyone. Then they couldn’t take our location by telling them exactly what highway, city, direction, mile marker or even our exact coordinates. It was very frustrating to sit on the side of the highway with 3 scared children because every vehicle that went by moved my truck.

Based on the poor experience of my pick up location, this site was a dream. The staff came out to meet us, was friendly and completed the return for me. He also listened to my concerns based on my pick up and acknowledged them. If it was possible, I would only work with this location.

Truck was dirty, not the vehicle I requested and had multiple equipment problems. Windshield washers, fuel gauge and A/c either broken or malfunctioned .

Express checkin should be that, not taking an hour for rental process at desk, then requiring address moving to and a 3rd contact telephone number - made us feel like criminals instead of customers. Very disorganized

Why is there an environmental fee? I think this is a fee used to collect money to pad your company’s profit margins. No one told me I would be paying an additional fee for this. If you have these additional fees, tell your customers up front.

See above. Be clear with customer about time lines, I would not have picked up the key on 5/9/19 if I would have known I was being charged for another day. When I paid $174 or whatever in Hillsboro and repeated “so before five on 5/11/19 have it back in the unhaul store” the rep should have clarified there would be another day charge, then I would have done everything differently. Thank you

As I told the woman in the office the shoulder seat belt strap that is supposed to go across my shoulder and chest ACTUALLY CUT RIGHT ACROSS AT MY THROAT!!! Horribly uncomfortable hitting the throat exactly where they are supposed to cross the chest!!! The fixture behind the driver's left shoulder is set WAY TOO HIGH--does not adjust---and does not go across at shoulder level and then across the chest---instead it is high in the air above the left shoulder then HITS ME RIGHT IN THE THROAT----STRANGLING LEVEL right under the chin!!! I spent the entire trip with the chest part of the seat belt pulled around my arm and under my left elbow to PREVENT IT STRANGLING ME IN THE THROAT!! I know you buy the trucks with the seat belts installed that way. SO, Tell those pickup truck manufacturers that those seat belt fixtures should adjust up on down so as to NOT CUT across at the THROAT exactly where they are supposed to cross the CHEST!!!!!!!!! Thanks.

On both Saturday April 28 and Sunday April 29 I worked with Ariel (I think? blonde woman) when returning equipment. She was kind, courteous, and professional. She made a tough weekend of moving more bearable. She is a great addition to your team and deserves recognition for going above and beyond to support customers!

Long wait inline due to lack of adequate staffing. Early reservation did nothing to speed up the process. Folks in line were not happy. Median strip in front of the location requires customers to turn right, go down a block to the shopping center to turn around to proceed on their destinations due to the lack of a left turn capability at the UHaul location.

My contract was for $14.95. 3 hours later I returned the trailer and the kid says that will be $29.90. I showed him my contract and he said he needed to discuss it in the office. Manager explained to him that he charged me for 2 days. No apology from either the manager nor the kid. POOR customer service. Train your employees that if they are wrong and the customer was correct, say your sorry for the inconvenience!

The inside of the cab smelt stale cigarette smoke. My wife is asthmatic and could not come into the vehicle. As the smoke smell would have triggered an asthmatic attack for her.

Overall, I had a great experience at U-Haul. However, I didn't like that they stored the large trucks in front of the units. We should be able to have full access at any point.

Way overcharged $95.00 for a tiny unit. Everything in the unit was covered in dirt, dust and cobwebs. Also indication of mice. Your call center was uninformed slow to serve. I wouldn't recommend
