One tire on rented trailer was very low on air pressure. This was not noticeable until the trailer was loaded, so I had to make an unscheduled stop to add air. Would hope that U Haul could check tire pressures prior to releasing to customer,

Very pleased with the location, I just wished that the website would truly show the true inventory as we thought we were renting a 26’ for 24 hour and then had to change it to 22 hours then get a 20’, but there was no 20’ so we ended up in a 15’. There was no compensation for the concussion.

They Did not have truck even though I reserved it a month in advance. We had to go to another location to pick up a smaller truck. Auburn location made us do the running around to get other truck only hours before we needed it !Almost cost us a large amount of money !

Very impressed with our rental experience. Was able to downgrade to a smaller truck at our request with no problems which was great. Would definitely recommend, just make sure to reserve in advance and should not have any issues

The process for dropping off a truck was very painful. We weren't able to drop it off during business hours, so we had to do the online method. The app did NOT work after many, many tries. We had to call and note that the app wasn't working.

The cargo van I rented had about 9500 miles on it. Practically brand new. A few miles down the road, the engine light came on, and a notice that the left rear tire needed air. I called and was connected with Roadside Assistance. The connection was bad and I could not easily hear the responses from the gentleman I spoke with. He said he would hang up and call back. Never heard back from him. I called again, and spoke with someone who said to just stop and put air in the tire. No comment on the engine light. A friend who was with me said that perhaps the gas cap needed to be loosened then tightened again; we also stopped and put air in the tire although it didn't seem to need it. The lights did not go off until after the van had been parked for about an hour.

Make sure receivers hole is correct. I rented a truck and could not use It. I think a credit should have been offered. I rent their quite often.

The wait to have the trailer hitch installed took longer than advised. Other than that, the experience was good in Auburn Maine. We observed two very angry customers while we were waiting as well as an employee having a breakdown in front of other customers.

The only redeeming factor to my experience was the customer service rep, Angela, who tried to make things right for me. But my account was charged more than 3 times what the actual amount is and now that money is tied up all weekend and as a single mother this is hard on me. I currently have changes of $58, $108, and $61.78 pending on my account that won't fall off for at least 2/3 days. When it should only be $61.78. for this I am rating my experience poor. I am not a happy customer.

The only thing that bothered me is that the cost for milage was more then they arigenally said it would be?? That being said, my first reservation was going to be Thursday, had to change it to Saturday cause was the only time my movers could do it. But at the same time when I changed the reservation, I think the person who did that for me knew it would be a higher rate and should have told me that at time of changing reservation, cause he could see that the first one was on weekday??? This was first time I rent from u, next time I need hopefully I will be better informed??
