I have NEVER seen a U-Haul Truck Rental actually ALLOW a customer to ACTUALLY have to DRIVE a Rental Vehicle in such POOR condition as the U-Haul Vehicle I was given. The FRONT DASHBOARD was practically CAVED-IN, and I BARELY made it to my destination. ( I made them AWARE of the ENGINE-lgt. that was ON: The CAB-sensor lgt. OR Trailer-sensor lgt. was ON. I was ACTUALLY AFRAID I was NOT going to make-it to the short destination i drove it to, and CANCELLED my other STOPS, because it BARELY seemed to want to accelerate in NORMAL driving acceleration. Well GO-FIGURE, the miles on it was OVER 119000+. I was actually told by the U-Haul Storage where I PICKED-UP my Storage, that THAT Vehicle SHOULD NOT have been Rented-OUT, to any Customer.!!??Charlotte K.

Location in terrible area, construction very bad, missed the exit because people were flying through the construction area and could not merge over, and it was not the drop off location I asked for, was extremely upset by the time we dropped off the uhaul. I did not get the change of location until late in the evening because I was very busy so I was not happy that it was switched on me without my knowledge.Thelma W.

This company lied about damage to the truck after I had 4 people look over the tuck upon return, They also discriminated against my 29 yr old my son who came from Columbus to move his items from his home and because "I was his emergency contact" they refused his rental arrangements because they said we were "working together?" Then they gave him my personal paperwork with a large amount owed, for whuch he had no clue.. Attorney has been secured, a heavy equipment mechanic and Channel19 and Fair Housing. There was no way for me to damage the truck the way they said...no possible way.. I have an impeccable driving record for a 62 year old.!!!Celeste T.

The ramp ladder was rickety and useless to a person who uses a cane. I mentioned it to the staff member and he still assigned me a dock platform storage unit. He demanded my drivers license even though it had beenscanned and previously submitted only in an attempt to expidite the checkout process.David M.

Let the customer know before s/he gets there that the requested equipment (dollys, furniture pads, boxes, etc.) is not available before s/he gets to the pickup location. All I got was a truck and none of the equipment that would have made the move 10x easier.Claire L.
I was given a truck that needed maintenance done on it for a 2.5 hour drive. I kept having two warnings come through during g my drive. The guy working at the counter said that the warnings were fine and that he basically drove it for 20 minutes and just pressed the dash buttons and they went away. NOT GOOD BUSINESS! Clearly something is wrong with try truck if this keeps going off and during my drive the truck didn't feel safe at all but wasn't given a choice for anything else.David Y.

Maybe better signage indicating where to park trucks and where the key drop is located after hours. People parked trucks in a line 4 trucks deep at the truck drop off area after hours and it blocked the sight line of the key drop and the trucks left there slightly blocked the entrance to the facility. The young black man who took care of me at the counter was extremely cordial, professional, and helpful. He made sure that a truck was available for me, even though the one I had rented had yet to be returned. He offered a larger truck, at no additional cost to me. I returned the truck after hours, then visited the facility the next morning to ensure that all was fine. Again, the same young man and the young black lady were very professional and helpful.jose D.

You need to de-bug on every use! When I put the dolly in the truck to take off there was a roach that fell from the truck. Think it was the only 1 in there I continued to my destination. Loaded up the fridge, headed home and opened the door to get fridge out and another roach fell out and took off. While getting the fridge out one crawed on my son. He did kill that one and I have a picture of it! If any got in my fridge and I get roaches I will be contacting uhaul! Seems how I didn't even get a discount. This was a location pickup change from another location. In the process, the furniture dolly that I had ordered was no available and no solution was offered. By the way, I had ordered a king mattress cover and had to go to the original pickup location in addition to picking up the truck at the new location. Good think I was in a good mood.JAMES S.

The driver's side door was either bent or damaged before I got it it was hard open and close the door the radio button was broken volume button the the rear cargo sliding door was hard to close also and I got over charged my total was supposed to be $103.00 not $138.00 not pleased !!!Edward B.

I lived 2.2 miles away from this location. From my old home to my new home it's 1.2 miles. Though we had the truck for 5 days it sat in the driveway and we didn't move it. Somehow I was charged for 65 miles! We didn't take photos of the milage before and after so that's on us, but I don't recommend this location because they're shady.Brook M.

First I made reservations for a different location and had to go to this location very inconvenience for us we ordered the biggest truck uhaul has and didn't get!! This has happened to a few people I know that has rented thru uhaul!! So when someone makes reservations make sure u have something they want I know life happens but we had to drive 10 miles out of way cuz the one 1.3 miles away messed upChristopher S.

I just feel like, when asked for them to work with me on my storage it didn’t happen. I explained to them that I was going through a difficult time and that I just ask for a little more time. When calling them to see if they could work with me to catch up on it. I always got told something different from different people, all the way up until I lost it. I lost everything in that storage. The staff is just plain not very friendly. There’s just no way around it. From set up with the storage unit, stopping in to be by boxes and other supplies, to finally closing out the unit when I was done. They’re just not the slightest bit friendly. Not greeted when I walk up, no “thank you”, and simply nothing but the bare minimum in any interaction. It fascinated me every time just how unfriendly they were. I wrote a pretty scathing google review of this place recently. I’ll defer to that. Staff that won’t greet customers. I went in there yesterday and the office was empty of employees for ten whole minutes. Probably the worst customer service I’ve ever had. Was told like a week ago that mold on my stuff I’d had in storage for a year was my problem. Offered no assistance. Told me to call RepWest and the employee didn’t even know what it was.
