We had trouble with our first location on E. Tallmadge Rd. We had to wait for over 5 minutes before someone came out to help us. We could see them in the maintenance room vaping. There was nobody else in the store. Also, our reservation that I had done online was lost. They did help me find a trailer @ another location because they didn't have any @ their location.

Problem: When I need and ask fro a truck without a dolly or a blanket I am being told " it is against company policy". They are in my way and I do not use them and I do not want them. If I move them, then they want to charge me for them.

Perfect execution. The phone-call to a friend/colleague seems a little wonky, might want to work on your authentication there. Documentation of the customers ID should be plenty as long as it's up-to-date by the primary driver. The number to an emergency contact should be provided by the client, but there's no need to test as most people don't answer unknown numbers now-a-days.

The self checkout process was difficult, to say the least. As part of the price I pay, I expect to be able to, after hours, park the vehicle and drop the keys in a secure box and leave. It took me nearly 30 min to complete the self checkout.

I cannot say enough about the terrible customer service I received. i booked a trailer online, which I have done before, to move my items from Akron, Ohio to Oklahoma City, OK. Never mind the service at the actual store being sub par, as they could barely be bothered, did not inspect the trailer (that we discovered half way to our destination in the dark, had two lights out), and we loaded it onto the hitch ourselves.Somehow my reservation was changed to a in town move, and not a one way despite the destination location online being "optional." Once this was discovered 6 hours away from Akron Ohio, I called to try and have this adjusted and was told me options were to "turn around and bring the trailer back" (mind you, after I had loaded a trailer full from my residence) or pay appx $800.00 in wrong location fees. I was given no options and told repeatedly this is what "I needed to do" and "there was no one else I could talk to." Over the next few days I spoke with multiple people who assured me that a manager was working on the situation and would be calling me back and to just hold the trailer as I am being charged by the day. No one ever called back, I called in and was transferred to multiple people who continued to give me generic "they are working on this" explanations. When I was finally put back in touch with the store, I was told I was "lying," talked over, told I blatantly chose to do this, interrupted, cut off and put on hold without being informed. I was also told it was the managers/districts managers prerogative if they called me back. Finally, in tears, and with no voice after 3 days, I finally reached the district manager who charged me $422 in one way fees (which I still don't understand as a previous move the same distance, with hitch installation and equipment cost less than this trip with just the trailer) and was able to return the trailer to a location in OKC. This is not my first interaction with U-haul, but it will certainly be my last. I will gladly pay double the money to not have the repeated stressful experience your company and your employees caused me. You took what should have been the easiest part of my moving experience and made it my worst. I have NEVER had someone treat me the way your employees acted. I encourage you to listen to my calls, listen to the frustration, the comments that were made and the incredible lack of customer service that occurred. There needs to be an extreme amount of training done within in your company in order to make sure this does not happen to someone else.

She eas knowledgeable on all product lines including the add of trailer light plug.. Chantal provided an excellent and expedited customer service experience I was in and out during a down poor...

Somehow I was over charged, I have been trying to speak with a supervisor since Monday and it is now Friday. When I call Im told the same thing, that the supervisor is not in and will give a call back, well Im still waiting on that call. I have called multiple times this week.
