This storage facility is still in the process of being finished. Once the facility is completed, it may be a great place but currently, there are several inconveniences which lead me to not recommend it. First, there is only one door into and out of the storage facility. It is easily blocked when someone is loading/unloading a truck making it very difficult for more than 1 group to access the facility. Second, the access hours are quite restrictive (9-5). Online it is advertised as 24/7 access which I understand is planned but it should not be advertised until it is available. The website also advertises storage units size 15x10 which are not actually available at this location.Courtney M. | Overall Experience

My only complaint was that I left keys on the truck key when I turned it in, in person. Someone should have caught that and called me because I had to go back and they had to find them. NOW there may be a reason for that IDK 🤷🏽â€â™€ï¸ Yes I should have caught it also but I just left them in the truck because I knew they needed to check mileage-gas- etc Other than that the people were very friendly and helpful and I would definitely go back.Martina K.
I am highly dissemination, was overcharged for rental,then when I told them I was going to Moorehead and back they only put 100 miles which of course was over and then charged almost 80$ more,then charged again another 70$ 4 days later,will not be returning or recommending to anyone .Amanda B.

Overcharged for gas. No employee inspection to see that gas tank was 3/4 full when truck was picked up and 3/4 full when dropped off.Glen C.
Make sure the equipment is clean! The cab of the truck was dirty I could see what looked like shoe prints on the windshield, looked like potato chips in the floor. Cargo area some gross looking brown stuff had run down the wall. I explicitly requested no dolly or blankets. There was no blankets but a utility dolly was left in there and it wasn't not bolted down it was laying down. I better not get charged for it!!Ben R.

For one, honor your reservations and two, I had a reservation on line, the price was $123. I had this reservation for over a week. When I went to pick up the Uhaul, it wasn't available. Then I was told I was guaranteed one in Frankfort, drove all the way there and no Uhaul. I called customer support, they told me it was a busy weekend so I probably wouldn't get one. I asked about the 2 reservations and guarantee and she put me on hold because I should get $50, which I did not get, to later come back and tell me she found one in Versailles. I drove there, got one, but they charged me $100 more. I asked why and she couldn't tell me where the extra charge came from but I had to pay it or not get it. I had to move so had no choice. I drove over 90 miles to Uhaul's that day because you didn't honor the reservations you made. I was charged $100 more, didn't get the $50 from the guarantee, and drove over 90 miles for no reason.Tracie Y.

Staff is wonderful. Facility is clean and well maintained considering they are new and under construction. Only rated access hours as not convenient, because at the time access is only during business hours. Our uhaul was supposed to be at a store 10 miles from here. It was not. We had to travel and pay for 20 more miles and extra gas because of your mix up. None of the uhaul stores are able to communicate directly to help solve problems. I will try to never have to use uhaul again.Kerry C.

I booked a 10x15 storage unit and upon check in I was informed that this facility does not have that size units. The website advertised 24 hour access but upon arrival I was informed that access was limited to 9-5. Original pu location in Lexington was changed to a location across town that was not a uhaul dealer. Assigned a self pu by uhaul, not my request, and the truck did not have a key lockbox, therefore no key to the truck. No other uhaul trucks available in Lexington so had to go to another dealer in Versailles,Ky. They were nice and helpful at the Versailles location. The only problem I had was getting a truck there wasn't very many available and none the size I needed but I did get a truck that was much larger for the price of the one I was looking for for the same price so that was great but had to drive 20plus miles to get it and drop it off which wasn't so good when your paying 1dollar a mile so that wasn't great but overall not a bad experienceJason S.

I waited 1 1/2 hours to get my rented truck, even though I had made reservations online. And the guy in front of me was still there as I was leaving. The only person working at the UHaul wasn't the one to blame, he was overloaded. But the overall impression was very poor. Plus, my truck stunk, literally stunk. Even the AC on high couldn't totally drown out the stink.Scott R.

When we arrived to drop off the truck and trailer, they were closed. Hours are 9 to 5 We rented a storage unit from this location, that had no record of us reserving a unit. After one hour and three attempts at finding us an open storage unit, we finally were given a unit to rent. When I called the manager and the owner for assistance, from the business cards left on the front desk, no one returned my call or text. It has been more than four days, and I am still waiting for a return phone call.Tracy H.

The U-Haul mobile app and online express pick up system was a complete disaster this morning. I received a â€œpage you were trying to access does not existâ€ error message when I clicked the Express Check In-Pick up link. When I clicked the online chat option for assistance, it went silent after the first exchange. Next I selected the callback option which took 15 minutes before I spoke with a live person. Finally I was given the option to call a Louisville Kentucky based number and the assistance provided from there was helpful to get me on my way. The entire online express pick up system was a complete and utter aggravation. This is not a criticism whatsoever of the Versailles Kentucky location rather it's a criticism of U-Haulâ€˜s online mobile app experience. When I dropped off the truck to the Versailles Kentucky location, I was assisted by a young lady named Grace who was very helpful and accommodating. In conclusion, I would highly recommend the Versailles Kentucky, Marsailles Rd. location, but not the UHaul mobile app experience. Also the rental truck itself was fine â€“ no issues with it whatsoever.William G.

For improving would be that the fuel was lower starting off than what was on the paperwork. So I filled it up back to the mark it was when I picked it up and possibly a little over and was still charged for 3 gallons of fuel. My only other complaint was being charged for mileage to pick up and return even though I had reserved a truck at another location. Between all of these extra charges it cost me almost $50 more. I was displeased with Uhaul in this capacity. The actual location was great to work with.William P.
