This was the worst experience I have ever had with a company! U-Haul shows how much they do not care about their company. I had a reservation for an auto transport for 9 Nov for 9am. I show up and they did not have one available for me, they said someone came after hours and picked mine up. Mind you I was checking out of my hotel that day at 11am and wanted to be on the road by noon. They said they could do nothing about it but one will will be available at a location 45 minutes away at 1pm. Having no choice I reserve that one. I show up at 1pm and there is again no trailer there. I am already checked out of my hotel room and I can not drive at night so this really put me in a difficult position. The only option was a car dolly at a different location.The trailer had No lights on the side to where I can see the edges at night and with my bad night vision I had to stop earlier then expected, which caused me to have an extra night in a hotel room. Even with a reservation U-Haul does Not care about their company customer, all they see is money and do not care what situation they put their customer in!

DESTANEE HWhen the lady lifted the trailer off my hitch, she allowed it to roll forward and it scratched my car.

WILLIAM MGood — location had trucks available and was flexible when I needed to change my return time. Not so good — My truck displayed a check engine light. Counter clerks need to communicate better, not just process contracts.
ROBERT PCurious. I booked online and accidentally selected 9pm slot instead of 9am. I think the website could really highlight the after hour booking because I personally missed other indicators (thinking it’s odd that 9am is after hours). Also curious why the woman/rep at the physical location didn’t see/have “anything” /an alternative available. Not sure if was a system in capability or a lack of critical thinking/resolution skill. I was however able to get a suitable alternative rental via the customer service number.

WILLIAM MHire an additional person to help at the counter. The young woman working the counter, London, was amazingly efficient, and was waiting on 4 customers simultaneously at different registers. Obviously, each of us had a to wait a moment while she was dealing with the others, but she made your customers feel important and valued by giving us all immediate attention. A very impressive young woman indeed!

When I picked up the truck, it was noticeably dirty both inside and out. The cab had a strong odor of cigarette smoke, similar to an ashtray, which made the drive unpleasant. I was surprised because I expected the vehicle to be clean and smoke-free, as stated in your rental policies. I recommend that vehicles be more thoroughly cleaned and inspected between rentals, especially to remove smoke odors and debris. I’ve always appreciated U-Haul’s reliability, so I hope this feedback helps maintain the high standards customers expect. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

Timothy BU-Haul charged $206 to one of my credit cards and $251 to another credit card of mine that I had on file for one vehicle rent for two days. The engine light was on no maintenance has done to the vehicle in the back of it was not cleaned out because there was money laying on the floor About four years ago. You had a good manager whoever is running it now is not worthy of the position.

PATRICIA LMake sure the trailer doesn't smell like dog crap and doesn't contain dog hairs. Also, the trailer was damaged because wheel well was bent into the tire. Pick up of the trailer delayed me at least one hour more than I anticipated. Fortunately, they found me another one-way trailer. Previous rental 2 weeks prior was perfect.
CURTIS CArrived and open light was off. Front auto door would not open, as if it was off. Went to side exit door, had to jimmy it to open it and get inside. Could see guy behind the counter. He was ASLEEP and didn’t hear me come in. Finally I woke him up, much to his surprise. When questioned, he said front door was acting up. Saw no one else on premises at all… All he said was, “I need the key and you’re all set”. I asked about checking truck and receipt. He said it would be emailed and that somebody else would check it in Wow… what a great first impression of a business, glad I didn’t have any problems on the drive…!

Three other females either on their phones, just standing around looking out the window, or sitting with their head down talking about how late they went to bed. I was embarrassed for the manager, however he didn't seem to care. Seems like it would be a better business plan to have no staff rather than the one that was there.

JACK KPickup was great. Counter person was excellent Drop off was far from great, very easy as the representative was sitting on a stack of boxes never moved. I took the key to her. I asked about refund of miles not used. Drove 6 actual miles estimated 20 miles. Asked about 2 dz blankets not opened or used. She said all good, all would be worked out and receipt would come to me via email.

LARRY MThis was the second time renting with this location and again I was impressed with the professionalism of the staff. This rental was a last-minute thing, and I had made the reservation online the night before. When I arrived the next morning, there was one young lady at the service desk, she was able to shuffle between three computers to assist myself and two elderly gentlemen with the rental process. I was very impressed with her patients and respectfulness with the two elderly gentlemen that seemed to have difficulty with the process. The gentleman that finished my rental process guided me around to the trailer and installed the hitch kit I had purchased and had me hooked up and on my way in less than 5 minutes. Very impressed with the staff. Thank you

All this after my pickup location was changed (adding 30-40 minutes total for pick up and drop off) the day before even though I had made the reservation 2 weeks before. I am done with U-Haul.

I had movers scheduled, so now we are out double the money for movers because of how long it took for the person who showed at 9:45 to help us. Both employees who came took personal phone calls on their cell phones while assisting customers who had been waiting an hour for the store to open up. My first month of storage was supposed to be free per the promo and the employee charged me and then informed me there was nothing she could ro and I would have to come back next month if I got billed then. When we came back in after unloading to return the truck, an employee was sitting behind the desk on a stool sleeping. My husband got a picture of this. Unprofessional, untimely, rude.
