Liz Davis provided excellent customer service! She was extremely friendly and professional. Even remembered me and spoke to me when I came to return the vehicle. Anthonio Chism checked me back in and he was friendly as well.

Let's see.....we had a truck reserved at a location close to our office...when we went to pick it up it was not available and the reservation had been moved to another location 12-15 miles away in heavy traffic.....we were 3 hrs late for our delivery and lost hundreds of dollars, time and pissed off a customer. We rented truck to deliver 8,000 t-shirts that we printed to deliver maybe 1 1/2 mile from office and original pick up location. Needless to say not a good experience plus the guy that checked us out at the 2nd location was rude plus they didn't have the size truck we reserved to begin with. So we had to make extra trip for delivery which means more mileage.....I don't appreciate the shell game u-haul plays with their customers....will look elsewhere next time we need a rental.....

Contract #: 26488120 I was triple charged on my account based on my bank statement. Soon after there was 1 equi-value adjustment, leaving 2 charges. I went there two days later after dropping my Uhaul, and the employee said "Yeah, we are aware this happens several times." VERY poor business management if the glitch has not been fixed yet, fully knowing there is a problem. Even though the situation was eventually resolved, I will never award anything higher than a 1-star until the glitch is fixed. Rather, I will alarm anyone using this location to check that there was not an overcharge.

Refill gas level was off, below halfway when I got it and was told to refill 5/8th of a tank...

I do not have an issue with the Vestavia location. It was the National U-Haul Customer Service which I had a problem with. One third of the way into a 12 hour trip, I realized that the item I was to pick up was 2" wider than the reduced opening of the 6 Ft wide trailer I rented. Even though I had located a wider tailgate unit in New Orleans which was on my way, I was told I would have to return the original rental back to Birmingham which made it impossible to complete my original task in the only time period that I had available. I was told the original trailer was assigned to Vestavia and the New Orleans trailer was assigned to New Orleans and that both trailers would have to be returned to their origination points. Both of these locations are large cities, which could have utilized these types of 6' x 12' utility trailers. Since the original trailer I rented had a Kansas license plate, it obviously did not originally have Vestavia, AL as a home base. Customer Service missed a golden opportunity to help a loyal customer in need and I am displeased with this unaccommodating treatment.

There are two U-Haul locations closer to my home. I choose this one time after time because of the quick and professional experience that the staff gives the customer.

Vehicle check incomplete. Oil cap was missing from oil which should have been caught before leasing the vehicle. we could have burned up the engine if we had not had some tin foil to cover the opening which was spewing oil on the engine.

I rented a pickup and auto transport. The braking mechanism was not explained to me and I immediately jacknifed the trailer while pulling my antique car at appx 30 mph. The track was dented and the car scratched. I told them a description of the car. It appears the truck was too light. I drove home over 100 miles at 35 mph. It was very stressful and I feel I should get my $100 back. I had opted for the coverage. I assumed the trailer had electric brakes. There appeared to be electrical connections. Walt MIles
