Check out took more than an hour for just the paperwork, compared to the ten or less minutes to hook me up. Then when it came to the after-hours check in. I spent more than an hour and a half trying to make it work on my phone. I called the help line twice and at the end of the day I was not able to return the trailer with the app/ online. I'll say this: because if this experience with U-Haul I am now in the market to buy a trailer, just so I don't have to deal with all the red tape and paperwork that comes with renting a trailer for U-Haul.

Your process is to much 1. Taking my card # , coded number on the back and my zip code. How are you guys keeping my information safe? 2. Then a picture of me and all the information again and copy’s of my license. Once again how are you keeping my Id and information safe? If I didn’t do an order that need to get picked up I would of never used the service. It’s to much and did not see how you kept our I’d safe guarded

Even do they only had 2 employees working and there was a lot of customers waiting Joshua Baca was able to multitask and help two customers at the same time, he was the best , super nice, very professional and very helpful... Arrived with only 1 customer ahead of me who was returning a vehicle, the 1 employee behind the counter at no point made contact with me. After the customer walked out the employee did too but at no point said anything like “I’ll be right back” or “I’ll be right with you”, simply didn’t acknowledge the fact he had a customer waiting. He finally comes back in with a family that arrived AFTER me ( I watched them pull in) and started helping them and still didn’t acknowledge me. During the time he was assisting them 4 other customers arrived and he looked but never said anything to any of us and didn’t call for another associate. After he finished doing the rental for them he was taking them out to show them their rental and again said nothing to anybody as he was walking out so I finally spoke up out of frustration and asked “hey bro since apparently we’re invisible and you have terrible service skills, can you call someone to help please?” He stopped, grabbed his radio and called for another associate and said “there, I called someone to help you out” and walked away. The owner finally came in about 10 minutes after and the employee could be seen wandering around outside and texting on his phone but never came back in even though by the time I finally got my rental, there were 6 other customers.

Did not receive email confirmation upon returning the trailer later that evening,personnel did not verify that the dolly was inside of the trailer I did get a call the next day. Personal did look in the trailer the next day and did find the dolly inside. Picking up trailer was very fast and efficient.

Not cancel my reservation , that's after me calling back three times. . . After being hung up on by customer service 2 times. I go to the uhaul I thought I was supposed to go to and the customer service never told me they moved my reservation to another location. Poor job of customer service , would not recommend at all

Everything was great , only thing was our truck didnt have but an eight of a tank and they told us it was a quarter full. No way to report it on line because it wouldnt save the report in your web page.everything else was great

Only one person working at the desk. Took me 20 minutes just to reach the front even when I had a reservation. Plus the vehicle had 3/8 of fuel and the desk said it had 1/2 so I took a photo of the gauge and beginning mileage which worked out in my favor after returning the truck. Just do not like the way the entire reservation was done. Registered online including photo ID. Rear side was optional. Desk asked for my back side of license. What is the point of optional if I need to provide it...Just does not make sense...

The two clerks/employees seem to be overworked. I'm thinking Uhaul needs to hire at least one more worker to handle the demand.

Only issue was that my 20 foot UHaul, which was gauranteed, was not available. I’d like to respectfully request a refund to my credit card on file for $50.

Called Makin office was told to take rental back to a specific location which did not take the van had to drive 10 miles to a different location to drop it off. Used the reference guide to fill the rental, filled using the recommend guide which filed the tank full. When rental was picked up van was only 3/4 full verses 7/8 as I was told. Will us Penske next time. Crappy service.

Well overall I was please with my rental the only minute “complaint” I would have is that when I received the bundle deal for the dolly and furniture cover blankets the package for the blankets had a rip in it but no biggie because I didn’t even use them, I only used the dolly. Also, my quoted price end up being more at the return of my rental by roughly $16 more. My personal opinion on customer service I give it a 5 out of 10 because the representative was by herself so the wait was roughly 50 minutes before I actually was checked out for my rental from start to finish. She did her best multi tasking be she had roughly 3 additional families in line plus one she was already help IU when I arrived. She did ok, but she need a partner for those busy moments.

I was pleasantly surprised on the ease of renting a trailer and grateful the technician hooked up the trailer for me. The technician was also very knowledgeable in the equipment and was very friendly.

Customer service was poor. It took well over an hour to rent a truck with only one person in front of me. There was other employees who were present but weren’t helping customers. I’ve rented from this place before but never experienced such poor service.

Explain the renting policy better. I was confused when the guy told me he was gonna be $90 something on my card. I said I thought it was $20 with how ever much it costed per mile. Instead of explaining the policy of holding the $90 something dollars on my card until I returned it, the man just repeated what I didn't understand with a blank expression. My daughter thought she understood and rephrased it to make sure she understood it right. He still did the same thing, but with a slight anniyance this time. Maybe learn to explain/ add that you're not actually charging the card until you bring the car back, but you have to put a hold of so much at that moment. I would have understood better if those words were used instead of "I'm putting $90 on your card", then me asking about how I thought it was cheaper and just a repeat of "with the $20 for the rental and insurance it's $90" . Then to repeat that again and say insurance and something else is only $16, but it's $90. Take the time to just say you have to put a hold on the card for so much, but you're not charging for it

You cheated me out of $241. You claimed that I cause a small dent and scratch above the rear window of the pick up. I did not cause any damage to the pickup and I did not cause the small dent and scratch. You misdirected me to Repwest for a claim. They said they do not handle disputes between Uhaul and the customer. I left a phone message and text message with the store manager, Sonya Gomez. She never responded. I was over charged and then given the run a round when it was brought up. I rented a trailer for four days and was charged over 340.00 when I should have been charged 200.00. This type of customer service just lost Uhaul a loyal customer. Absolutely unacceptable!!!

Your people were very courteous, knowledgeable, and provided great service, but the long line of customers seemed to create tension at the counter ... putting your employees under stress. In our case, Sonya handled this quite well by processing two customers using two workstations at the same time. Perhaps adding a couple of Kiosks, so that those customers that do not "pre-register" could enter their own needs and information, might help ... like at the airport check-in counters?

I showed up and pre did everything including uploading drivers license and it still took me 1 hour to get contract. Then the truck/Trailer combo had another issue and took another 30 minutes to correct. Total time at facility was over 1.5 hours which pushed everything behind. Not happy with this location...
