Tried to return truck on website ,couldn't get in to website, sat in lot for a half hour trying, went back the next day because they added $20 for not checking in the truck on the site ,18oo number not working allso, manager couldn't figure it out ,its a joke trying to return truck after hours will be going back on Monday, paper work states if u can't get thru on line to go back on the the next day and still got the run around, they know the site is shady

When I picked up the truck the person who checked me in was knowledgeable and courteous. However the truck was filthy. There was dirt/dry mud on the inside handle and steering wheel. We're in the middle of a pandemic. There's no way anything is being sanitized if there's caked on dirt! I had to spend 30 minutes with damp paper towels and then a can of Lysol just to be able to use the truck. Fine I guess I had cleaning supplies with me because I knew after moving to Ohio a few weeks ago the one thing the people here do is EGLECT everything from their homes to their cleaning duties. However when I returned the truck on the same day, the person sitting behind the desk ( who another employee told me was named mark, had no mask on, was talking to another person who had no mask on. There was other people in the store with no mask on and the store was packed. I waited until mark looked for a key for 15 minutes had to ask the other employee working there what to do and how to do it, then told the person he was dealing with he couldn't help her because someone else started her rental agreement and didn't have it pulled up in his screen (who also by the way didn't have a mask on and not one employee told any of these people they needed a mask. But how could they when your own employees don't wear masks (Mark) then when he looked at me with no one else behind me in line I said “yes I would like to return my truck, it's parked in the return area and the keys are in it” he said ok , just leave it there and you're free to go. I asked him how much the total would be charged to the card because the mileage hadn't been counted and I was still responsible for the hand truck that was in the back of the pick up, he said to me “ you'll be charged whatever you get charged!” ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?'!?!?! This lazy person didn't want to get out of his chair and so his job and leave me liable for anything they deemed fit! I told him that was unacceptable and I wanted a final total and for the equipment to be checked in before I left. He got mad and yelled FINE, I'LL CHECK YOU OUT MYSELF!” Like he was mad that he had to do the job he was getting paid to do. I seriously couldn't believe it. I was made to feel like an inconvenience and a bother for using your company. And the whole time he's not even wearing a mask. In my opinion anyone not wearing a mask should be fired and anyone not wearing a mask should be refused service. Ohio has one only the highest daily positive covid numbers in the country right now and it's growing every day. The state is breaking its previous record of positive tests each day that passes and this lazy , no good , time clock money stealing jerk is refusing to wear a mask and refusing to do his job and making me feel like I'm bothering him. I have used uhaul every time I needed to rent a truck. I just spent $1400.00 last month and another $45.00 2 days ago. I will never use uhaul again because of the one person Mark. If the other employee lied to me and that's not his name just contact me and I'll give you the exact time I was there. But he is about 50 with all white hair and a beard and way overweight. I will never use uhaul again because you're endangering the public and are lazy.

There was a problem that had consequences. The 15' truck given me was nearly empty of gas. I was told to take it, fill it up and return it with the same nearly empty tank. The drop off location was confused & nearly charged me for returning it empty. I understand, now, why he was confused. It caused problems.

The staff were excellent and helpful getting me set up with a van rental, answering the phone quickly and for correcting an error in my bill. The only complaint I have is with the online self return website. I'm glad I was able to return after hours, but the website does not work. It was annoying to have to navigate the site and generate a login while standing in a city parking lot at night, and it would not let me check in the rental due to an issue with the website not recognizing my location. This is more of an issue with UHaul in general and their website than this particular location.

There was a miscommunication between me, the employee helping me, and the corporate representative who I was speaking to on the phone. I rented a trailer and the employee forgot to tell me about the special procedures for dropping off after-hours. I called the location and they told me they wouldn't be able to refund the fee, and that I could call corporate. I called corporate and the representative was talking to the GM and communicating back with me, essentially told me that there was nothing that could be done. I asked repeatedly to speak with the GM directly and was transferred to another customer support rep. Eventually I was instructed to file a complaint, so I did. Lisa, the General Manager got in touch with me this morning and explained that the employee who was helping me was very new, explaining the fact that he forgot to mention the after-hours procedures. She refunded the fee that was charged, which I greatly appreciate. I apologize for the last review, I was very frustrated at that point and felt like I was being stonewalled. Thank you Lisa for taking the time to give me a call and resolve this situation, I will rent from your location the next time I need a trailer, and if there are any issues I'll try to get in touch with you directly first.

I pulled truck up to location in lot and signed said to wait with truck and someone would be coming to check out. Note there were no other people there but me - it was about 4:10PM on a Sunday. One of the employees came out and saw me there and didn't say anything and kept walking. After waiting for about 10 mins I went into office. Told employee behind desk that I was dropping off truck - she asked me for the keys and then said okay you are good to go. Although that was quick I would have appreciated if I didn't have to wait around.

I was over charged for the rental of a truck that started at 19.95, and ended up paying 101.00 dollars. I registered over the phone and specifically said I DID NOT WANT OR NEED A DOLLY AND OR TGE MOVING CLOTH. THEY ADDED IT ANYWAY. I ENDED UP BEING CHARGED FOR 40 MILES IF TRAVELING. THAT DIDNT HAPPEN! I WAA RIPPED OFF AND TOO TIRED EXHAUSTED TO DEAL WITH IT. THE EXPERIENCE WAS HORRIBLE! 100.00 FOR FOUR HOURS!! NOT OKAY! I WILL BE CONTACTING UHAUL TODAY!!

Lisa was great to work with. The whole team was friendly and they got me in and out quick. On moving days the last thing you want to do is spend two hours at the rental shop! I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. They were all great and I will definitely use them again

I was impressed by the new condition and cleanliness of the truck. It was my first time renting and the process was straightforward online - could do most everything ahead of time. Return was easy. Michelle was friendly and helpful on the phone when I had questions prior to renting. I was disappointed at the cost per mile, but I was going quite a distance and had no other choice. The process took longer than it should have. Many unmasked employees. The woman who checked us out (who wore her mask below her nose) charged us for a sleeve of large boxes, we asked for and had the Uhaul worker (Who wore his properly) load for us one sleeve of Medium and one Small. So we were overcharged and of course did not notice this until we arrived at the return facility and looked at the receipt to return 15 medium boxes. So we were ripped off for a sleeve of large boxes. The woman who checked us out also wanted a man's license? My license (PA) and my aunts (VA) were not enough? She asked “you don't have a husband or boyfriend going”? Does a woman require a man to travel and drive? Disgusting. That location was dirty and deceitful. Horrible experience.

We had a space that was unlit so hard to see inside. Used for three months and when we moved out, our stuff had mouse poop all over it.

Everyone was friendly and helpful but the experince was not as easy as renting the truck. We were assigned a unit and then moved the truck. We waited one hour for our turn at the elevator. The first unit we were assigned was to small so we had to switch units. This was our mistake due to ignorance of what we really needed. The staff was very accomdating. The next unit required a different elevator. There was no wait this time but it was not on the ground floor so the staff had to come out and lower it. They were were happy to do that for us. The unit we were assigned was already rented so we had to go back and get another unit. Once again, the staff was pleasnt andaccomodating. The third unit was available, dry and clean. So it worked out in the end. However what we thought would be a 30 minute unload and store turned into a 3 hour comedy of errors. The elevators were the biggest hassel. Through it the staff was very pleasant and helpful.

When I originally rented my storage suit I reserved a truck and storage unit. Truck rental went smoothly until I showed up to my storage unit a half hr before close to get my things set up and was turned away because “I have to be there 45 minutes ahead” even though the website says after hrs access. I then was charged an extra day rental and extra miles for my truck. I started a dispute and was never contacted back, every time I called in the person I needed to speak to was “out of town”. Not happy with my service received.

The storage facility is pretty well maintained and taken care of. However, the hallways are narrow after the first floor, which makes sharing the space difficult at times.

Very, very poorly managed facility. I received late notices every single month even though we have automatic payment. The manager is never available and can never be reached.

Over a weekend we moved to a new apt; Mon. returned to put a few things in storage that didn't fit but Uhaul had their lock on it ready for someone else. They didn't contact us to confirm.... beware!

Gary was incredibly helpful for a first time mover and u-haul user. He and his staff were easily accessible and always willing to answer the smallest questions. Could not have made this move easier!
