U-Haul has a system of adding insurance to the rental price without customers' approval. The company does that by having a misleading, deceptive process for customers to sign their rental agreement. If you want repeat customers, you should not try to trick them into extra fees.

When I went to pick up the 10' truck that I had reserved, they tried to give me a van. I showed them an email confirming the 10' truck rental. They said that they didn't have one. After awhile, they decided to give me an already reserved truck stating that it would "piss off" that customer. While I didn't want to inconvenience that customer, I had already hired movers for the day. The entire encounter was incredibly unprofessional, and I will be using a company other than Uhaul in the future.

I pulled into the storage side of the building and had to wander around awhile to find the equipment return side. Once I did, I was told to walk back and bring the truck to the right side. Once I returned, I had to wait at least 10 minutes with no response and no sign of help, because the signs said to stay outside until a technician came to help. Once I was helped, the man at this location was very friendly and helpful, I just wish someone had offered to help, and/or that the signage had been more clear.

Workers were rude, roaches crawling on boxes in store and had to wait 20 minutes for someone to go to the store and get change to return 14.50 to me needless to say this is not acceptable and I will not be returning

I walked into this location but could not find any employees to help me. I initially called out a bit to see if anyone was present, at which point I discovered that the only employee on location was in the bathroom. There had been no sign on the desk to notify customers that someone would be with them soon. Several minutes later the employee came out of the bathroom, but did not acknowledge me at the desk. Rather, he walked into the back room without saying a word. At this point, I had been waiting for ten minutes for any help at all. I started to ask if I'd be able to get some help, at which point the employee scolded me by telling me to "have some patience". This employee showed absolutely no interest in customer service, and further, was disrespectful to a confused and waiting customer. Because of this employee's behavior, I will no longer be using this UHaul location.

The doors on the truck I rented took extra effort to make sure that they were closed but other than that the equipment was very nicely maintained and worked well.

Pretty good job... I had to wait a few minutes...Employee made sure equipment was correct and functioned. Only strange thing was the fuel level of 5/8 full. UHAul made out because it was 7/8 full when I returned.

The guy that was working pulled the truck around from the back and he was smoking a cigarette. He didn't have the window down in the truck so it smelled like smoke really bad.

I rented a 6x12 trailer. The location was poorly staffed at the counter. The person responsible for hooking up my trailer did it wrong (failed to cross the chains). I had to stand around waiting while the workman walked to the store. (Why make appointments??) He called the assistant manager out to help. him. But he approved of the workmans job. When I dropped the trailer off. The workman in the morning was a true professional. He was personable and knowledgeable. Also, while standing at the counter I observed an interaction with the asst manager and customer that was disturbing. The other customers booked by the 1-800 number a trailer. But the store had it inthere computer as a truck. The manager tried to force the customer to take the truck. Wow! Time for corporate to come down and make some changes. My # 859-393-2834

The default early pick-up time is 10am but customers can pick-up as early as 7:15 when the industry opens but this is not told the customer until they call and ask if they can come earlier. This option should be offered without asking.

I lost the ignition key to the u-haul van and was very frustrated that you don't have an extra key handy to resolve this situation. The mgr. was very helpful the next day in providing a less expensive key instead of paying an exorbitant charge for a locksmith. Still, U-haul should have extra keys available for this type of situation.

Gary was great! He even offered to come get me so I didn't need an uber after the hitch installation. Marty, his staff worker was also very friendly. They did a great job and really cared about the customer

I made a reservation at a certain time to pick up the uhaul truck from a certain location, when I went to that location to pick up the truck, the front desk employee informed me that my truck is not there and I have to go get it from a 9 miles away location, that was so inconvenient for me and my family, and thought that we may not have a moving truck that day, it was not a pleasant experience. And I got charge and extra $18 for the mileage I had to drive to pick up the truck and drop it off. I am not sure if I can recommend uhaul to my family and friends, or if I will use it again.
