Uhaul attendant failed to answer phone numerous times. We asked for notifications when payment was due but we didn't receive any. We were only informed this week of another Uhaul we could make payments at. We had been told previously by that location that we could not make storage payments there

No one is ever in the office. Rats ate through the ceiling of the storage unit and everything reeked of rat urine and there was rat poop EVERYWHERE. You can’t get a live person to answer the phone and assist. I will not rent from this business again.

Nothing was offered to help me to make that happen, no discount on a truck or anything for the inconvenience. I received a phone call from the manager stating there would be someone at the old facility to move my items to the new location. I flew in and it’s a good thing I rented a car to get around that city because boy, did I receive the run around! Nobody at the facility.. at all! I had to go to another uhaul and of course that poor lady had no idea of my situation. There were three other customers all upset about reserving trucks/ equipment and nothing was available! The poor worker looked so stressed and called the manager due to my situation and the customer prior. I was told a few calls had to be made and to wait. Meanwhile, time is ticking as I have a flight to catch in a few hours and this city is about an hour and a half from the airport. Then, I was told “ okay ma’am, the manager said to go over to the old location and they will meet you there. AGAIN, no one was there for about 20 minutes. A white short bed truck ( not marked with any Uhaul signage and the driver was in regular clothes) pulled in. He said he was there to move me and he didn’t have the code to get into the storage and AGAIN I am waiting! This’ll I asked why he was alone and if he was expecting to move my items in only his truck. He said there are no uhaul trucks available! He said he’s waiting on the manager to come so we can get into the storage. 20 minutes later some young man comes in a mini suv to open the storage with the code and leaves! The original guy starts putting my things in his truck and tells me to go to a third facility to find out which new storage unit it’s all going to. I do that and AGAIN staff is clueless! I reserve a smaller unit than I had before. As I’m getting into my rental car I see the same white truck and he’s waving and honking his horn. I didn’t think anything of it until I had to return to the second uhaul to purchase boxes and I run into the guy who moved my things. He has already unloaded my things into the wrong unit! I tell him which one I reserved and he tells me to let the previous staff member who reserved it know so they can switch it later and to leave my lock and a spare key so they’ll mail it back to me in Arizona! I had no time to argue or fuss because I had to get to the airport. I returned to the place I reserved the new unit and no one was there! Nobody to leave my lock or key with! I left and gassed up my rental , returned to the uhaul and thank goodness the staff was back but I had to hand her my lock and spare key so I could get out of there. I still don’t know if my things are secure! Good thing I shipped my most important things back home. All of this run around when I was the one told more than 20 days prior that I HAD TO COME TO DO THIS, yet they ( uhaul ) were NOT prepared! Also, originally my plan was to haul all of my things back to my state and had reserved a uhaul truck for almost a thousand dollars. It’s a good thing I changed my mind and flew back because all that day I was there, all I got were text messages from uhaul telling me “my equipment was not available “!!!!! No truck!! What a pitiful pitiful was to do business with a customer who had paid them heir bill without issue for over a year! Horrible! Most of my bad experience happened at the locations in Watson in Warner Robins. The staff member at 301 was pleasant. She promised to lock my unit once the mover finished putting everything in there. I hope that actually happened.

I'm sorry I left a mess but when someone asks to use a dumpster they are trying to help u so its not left a mess by charging people to use a dumpster its crazy. They charge so much was there for 2 years and prices kept going up then yell refused to let me use a dumpster so I would not recommend it to anyone

It was 3 staff members including the manager that did not help in the matter. It was easy for them to just say no it was last year when you had your one way you can't do it. The experience made me feel not at ease and I knew that I quickly needed to secure my property elsewhere but at the time I was really pushed for time so I went with them.

I left a chair out and someone was coming back the same day and get it but the office was closed and was operating off site remotely so he couldn’t get in the gate. I got an email saying I had a $25 clean up fee. Couldn’t get anyone to pick the chair up the next day. I moved 2 1/2 hours away and it would cost more than $25 in gas to come back and get it. I asked if there was a dumpster on site but was informed that it would cost $25 to use that. Never heard of that before. I asked them to check their cameras because someone put a tire there. Sam didn’t seem concerned about that. I checked out on 1/22:2022 and they charged me for this month. I am so disappointed in Uhaul. I’ve rented in the past no problems. I guess the truck rental is a different survey. Starting out it was a bad sign and it continued until after drop off. Not sure if I will use Uhaul ever again.

So I definitely took advantage of that offer I needed a warehouse unit anyway so why not keep it in the U-Haul family I was also happy to find out that the unit I was getting was a larger unit and the monthly rate was a lot less than what I was paying for in Florida for a smaller unit, call it all I am very happy with the way I've been treated on the phone and in person at the U-Haul facilities in Florida and in Warner robins Georgia thank you

Inconveniently we arrived to the storage location to empty out our belongings only to discover that we couldn’t set up the rental at this location. No one in the office. So we had to drive several miles away (to where the trailer drop off location was) to get said storage unit set up. Then Had to drive back to the original location to drop belongings and back yet again to the second location to drop the empty trailer. Extremely inconvenient and frustrating to deal with when we had two kids ages 2 and 4 months that were stuck for the ride.

VINCENT RThis was not my initial pickup location. The original pickup location was Macon Storage West on 4332 Log Cabin Dr Macon, GA 31204. After driving 5 1/2 hours to pickup the truck, the truck was not on site nor could I reach this individual regarding where the truck was. I then had to contact Uhaul main number and had to drive 30 minutes south for an available truck. This was a very bad experience and will second guess on using Uhaul in the future.

TERESA G | First ImpressionsOf the multiple times I had to call 800gouhaul I was never on hold less than 20 minutes - hire more staff! I was rerouted via customer service to a different facility for equipment pick up but no one bothered to tell me that the new location closed 2 hours BEFORE my scheduled pick up time so when I arrived they were closed. 800gouhaul set me up for another facility 30 miles away to pick up my equipment the next day so instead of 24 hours to load my truck and trailer I was left with 10 hours. The furniture pads were wet and unusable. Customer services answer for all this inconvenience was to add an extra days rental and 50 extra miles. The extra day was useless and the extra mileage was needed because they sent me 30 miles south to get the equipment for a northbound move. This was the 2nd time I've used a Uhaul truck and will likely be the last. The physical, mental and emotional stress that I was put through was because of lack of communication from the change in pick up location and lack of 24 hour advanced. The apathetic attitude from customer service was irritating and the fact that this experience cost me almost $1000 is nauseating. For my next move I'll call Budget or Penski trucks. For anyone discussing their move with me I will outline all the ways Uhaul made this move harder on me and attempt to persuade them to go with a company who at least pretends to care. Moving isn't easy or fun but Uhaul made it worse.

I didn’t find out till way later... I was supposed to pick up at 8 ... I had to drive from macon to Warner Robins to get a truck... didn’t get back to start moving til 11am ... so I’m not really happy with the overall experience and no one apologized or Compensate me for all the time wasted and gas I spent to pick up the truck. And if you check the truck return I had over a half of a tank of fuel returned and started with 1/4 tank

My concern is a picture of my license was taken on a cellphone. In this day and age of Identity Theft, I don’t think that is very safe. I should have asked but didn’t if it was a personal cell or company issued. In either case, it’s a security risk. While I know nothing is 100% please provide me some degree of assurance that my data won’t be compromised. How is my personal information protected?

It cost a customer of mine that I moved (I was told it would be $30 for the extra day) $40 EXTRA...never had a problem with W.G. so I'm assuming a simple honest mistake. Love his speed and professionalism. The Watson Blvd store is...."a little rough around the edges." They are very fast and prompt it just seems everyone is always uptight bc of other customers.
