This was probably one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever dealt with in my entire life. I've never ever spoke to a general manager as well as employee in the condescending and rude manor they did over the telephone and in person. Wednesday evening after my move I called 2 uhaul locations that remained open in London as the pick up location was closed at this time, both location said yes that is no problem you can drop it off at our store no problem. So I drove to drop off my truck at one of the locations that remained open. The next day at 12oclock 55 minutes before my time is expired I get a call from the general manager at York who does not only start instantly criticizing me and telling me she doesn't care what the other uhaul employee told me that it's my problem and that if I don't get back to her location in the next 55 minutes she's double charging me. I explain to her that I think it's very unfair that I was given misinformation from a uhaul employee (2 actually) and that now I'm held responsible for picking it up again and bringing it to her location. I simply asked if she could disregard the extra miles for his mistake. She couldn't have had worse customer service, blaming the entire situation on me and condescending me as I was stupid for bringing it to that location. I really hope a higher up reads this and contacts me so I could give them the time and day of when this conversation took place and how she treated me from the beginning. As a PAYING customer I assumed I would receive some degree of respect and courtesy on a mistake made by a fellow uhaul employee. Myself and my family of 9 siblings have long used uhaul for all our moves but I promise this will be the last time myself and any family members use uhaul. Thank you, DylanDylan C.

This location is in transition and they are making it work as best they can. My issue is more with the on-line app- not intuitive so instead of virtual pickup I had to go in and redo steps I had already completed. Frustrating!TERRY G.

Better communication by the sales rep. The rear was locked but he did not give me a key, I had to drive back to pick up the lock key. He told me I had an extra day and could return by 09/26, but I was an extra day when I returned it on 09/25. Can this be looked at please?ALAKHSHENDRAMANO S.

When I asked about proper elect hook-up, since mine is for a camper, I was told that one (an adaptor) will definately be available as a loan or a deposit might be necessary for use on a flatbed trailer. arriving, I was told that I had to purchase one and was given false information. Further, I was not informed on which size ball was needed so, if I didn't have the right size, I was told that I'd have to purchase one. I drive an hour to pick this up and was put in a vulnerable position to spend more. They asked a lot of questions on the phone when making a reservation but, failed to confirm the need for these components. Why wouldn't a company like Uhaul not provide these extras as part of the service? The customer is unpleasantly surprised that they are forced into making purchases if they want to proceed with the rental so they can finally go to get the planned moving of items. These is not the kind of business practices I want to support. Next time, I will try another company and forwarn other before renting from Uhaul. The whole process was actually a lot of wasted time and false or misleading direction.ANGELO P.

London Yorke street was one of the poorest managed uhaul locations I have come across. The service was neither polite, professional nor helpful. The employee was snappy and arrogant. The checking in service was followed by pathetic excuses to cause more grief once the truck was returned. I was charged an access of 60$. I believe it was one more way to jab me after announcing my displeasure of un organization that the location was offering, and it showed the true demeanour of the staff member behind the desk. The start of the poor service started with waiting in the lobby for 10 minutes with no representative around. I had to leave the lobby and hunt the individual down. I then was informed that the items I had reserved on my pre order where not available and would have to pick up at a second location. (The second location was much more professional). Upon return I was charge 3 separate cleaning fees that were outrageous, and clearly meant to annoy me further. With comparing the service I received at this location to services I have received in the past with uhaul locations this was by far the worse. This location has lost uhaul a repeated customer and I will be using budget from here on out. If you don't want headaches on a stressful move to start, just drive down the road to one of the other uhaul locations or another rental company in the area because this London, York street location will only give you headeaches and poor service while making pathetic excuses for you to dive deeper into your pocket.TRAVISJAMES K.

We wanted to change our drop off location (we did this before pickup) We tried to do it on line with no success. We called the number on the website and were transferred several times-people unable to help us until I spoke to Tori!! She was amazing!!!!Martha W.
All of your employees went over and beyond for us. We had an issue with our suv light connection and they helped us remediate the issue, instead of having to take our vehicle to the dealership to be fixed. They saved us so much time! Very happy with the service they provided.Brittany C.

Absolutely fucking terrible experience. 1) got to westside variety- my truck was not there and the uhaul representative that i talked to said to me over the phone â€œi dont know what to tell you, theres not much i can doâ€. I got a call back 5 minutes later from a different uhaul rep telling me there was a truck available across town and if i went there i could use it. 2) biked across town to the second location- got there and the truck i was assigned WAS NOT FUCKING THERE. i talked to the receptionist and she said that truck went out an hour before i got there- which i do not believe but whatever. 3) after 20 minutes of standing around i finally asked if there was any other trucks that i could have-smaller or bigger. She said there was one truck that i could take! Wow lucky me 4) get into the truck- its disgusting. Has not been cleaned, smells like a cigarette ash tray, and its dirty. Oh well, i take it anyway. 5) I THEN NOTICE THERES NO FUCKING GAS IN THE TANK. so i have to go back inside and get the receptionist to update my gas mileage so i dont have to gift u lowsy fucks a full tank on my dime. i am so beyond disappointed with your services. I had to rent an additional pickup truck elsewhere to get my roommates things moved to the new apartment. I wish i could get my $320 back that i spent on your non existent service. Will not be using uhaul ever again and will be telling everyone i know not to use uhaul either.mason L.

they cheat on the customers and they don't know how to calculate the fees i signed for the whole receipt and paid cash then i surprise the deduct the whole invoice again from my visa card i call the girl in the morning she will check and refer to me then i surprised again and receive a receipt for the amount duplicated and she didnt response for my call to clarify the amount sorry for the bad feedback but this is what happen to meKhodor M.

I brought back the trailer early when the office was closed had trouble with going on line and sorting out how to notify u haul i had returned the equipment.
