Employees seem to lack slight organization skills. I paid/asked for 2 bags of furniture pads and they did not give it to me. I only remembered as i was exiting the premises. Overall, i am well pleased with them and the location. Thank your services!

GIVE THE GUYS A RAISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they are excellent at Virginia Rd. Efficient, friendly, have everything ready and accomdate the customers greatly. They work heavily - get them some speed sleep time on a cot in the back!!!!!!! Thanks!

Have used this specific U-Haul place before. Even though there are gas stations and other pick up areas closer, I prefer this one - it is clean and staff is friendly. I ordered the van on-line which was easy and convenient.

The small 4x7 open FS trailer I rented was extremely smooth and quiet, even when empty. I owned various trailers and nothing ran as nice as this. U-HAUL really makes good trailers. Will definitely rent this trailer again. At $14.95 for a 24 hr rental it’s cost effective compared to buying a trailer if you only use it infrequently.

Having an current updated log what are available to take for rent. I had to waste time on changing twice in vans because both times had an issue where it couldn't be moved or wasn't cleaned. Even though I got a van that was very very dirty.

Uhaul changed my equipment pickup location without notification. Had to switch from a one way trip to a two way trip greatly inconveniencing the moving process. This is the third time experiencing something like the. Uhaul needs to fix their one way equipment process to ensure the reserved equipment is available.

i had filled the gas more then what was on the contract and they tried to charge me for 2 gallons mean while i over heard another customer complaining about the same thing. I was refunded the money back but this a very bad business. Next time i will request inspection while i am on site so there are no further issues

The self check-in could be smoother. I waited longer than I felt reasonable to get ‘approved.’ I think some of those steps could have been initiated before I arrived.

Have the reserved equipment at a closer location. I was informed shortly before renting the truck and car dolly, that the dolly wasn’t available locally, and needed to be picked up from another location. I spent 4 hours picking up the equipment. After returning home, I found that the purchased furniture dolly and blankets were NOT included. I had to travel to another local location to get these items. It was noticed that the lights in the tow dolly would flicker when going over bumpers and windshield wipers were torn/ripped. I had to call roadside assistance to have them come out to fix the issues.

The transmission on the 15 foot truck I rented was not working properly. It definitely needs servicing.

Wipers needed to be changed. The key did not turn the car on and had to be pulled out of the ignition to start it. The parking lot was dark and it was difficult to find the truck. When i returned it the next afternoon, the parking lot was flooded with water. The salespersons were young, snippy and not helpful.

We rented a cargo van in order to pick up 55 gallon fish tank and other small furniture and several boxes. When we arrived at our destination We learned the side door would not open The back door did. Several movers now blocking the street because a side door is not working. We told the young man when we returned. He seemed indifferent and offered no support or willingness to adjust the price. I was charged for a van and told when I picked it up all was fine.

I will never rent from UHaul again. This was the 2nd bad experience I have had. I was contacted 515p the day before pick up by the original location that they didn’t have my size trailer. I had informed the rep when I made the reservation that I was coming from Atlanta to NY to get my items. If I had know ahead time I wouldn’t have made the trip because I didn’t need the larger trailer. I would have waited. The rep over the phone was very nonchalant about my situation. The guys at this location were very accommodating to my situation.

I tried two trucks. The first truck was too small for what I needed but it was in great condition. Then I switched to a different bigger truck, but this one was not so good. The engine seemed to not be working perfectly. It would a lot strange noises and it would not pick up speed or be very efficient. We made it do with what we had but we were definitely concerned the truck just might break on us.

Better training for employees. I was told my vehicle combination did not work for towing when your site said it was ok. Desk person asked me to call corporate....he did not call. I explained issue and someone from corporate called White Plains site to talk him through it. It was finally worked out but took 2.5 hours to rent a trailer. This is ridiculous. That being said the price was great. Oliver (not working desk) was particularly helpful at pickup and drop off.

It doesn’t make much sense for Uhaul to offer vehicles with less that a full tank. In our case, the tank was 3/8 full so that we had to return it with 3/8 as well. It was not too much of a problem since we drove 36 miles; it would have been an unnecessary headache if we had driven a lot more.

Despite setting up my Reservation close t where I live, I had to go to white Plains to pick up which costed me precious time in the morning. I was supposed to get a motorcycle trailer and they told me they were all down and that I could use larger different trailer. They had no knowledge of how to tie the bike down and it did not come with anything to tie it down. Finally I did not end up taking the trailer because, i was promised the motorcycle trailer for $20 whenI reserved it and White Plains was not going to honor the price. The truck I rented had a bashed in door which sprung open when it was open (this was obvious structurally damaged and not safe either.

Your web based vehicle return app wouldn't let me submit a picture of the dashboard upon my return. I have an android mobile device and I attempted the same action with both Firefox and Chrome. Other than that my exlerience was good.

Took from 11am - 5:30pm to try and cancel an order! No one wanted to help me. Every time I called I was on hold for over 30 min. Chat didn't help either. They directed me to a page that didn't work.
