Upon arrival the desk attendant was rude and standoffish, until i paid. She misrepresented the amount of gas in the truck and the attendant that was supposed to inspect the truck never did. I know this because where the truck was parked it was impossible to enter. The truck was pinched between two trucks and only after the movers went to the front desk was the attendant outside. They told me that the tank was full and it was no where near. With the amount of driving we did (or lack there of) it is impossible to run out of gas (which we did) I took pictures of the milage and everything as we dropped off the truck. Is it this companies prerogative to cheat its customers? I will definatly not refer this company or this location to anyone ever.

The website did not indicate restriction on miles. The drop off site should have been Garwood, but for some reason was Scotch Plains. Minor. Warnings on going on parkway could be put on dashboards.

My experience was horrible because I didn't receive my truck until 4:35p for a scheduled pickup for 3p. Also the 50:00 guarantee refund wasn't applied to my account. I must point this out the employees their that day did a great job with trying to resolve the problem.

The per mileage rate is a little pricy. Lowering it down to $1/mile or so would make uhaul even more appealing.

I did check out online but still had to go inside to get the keys When I got there there were about 5 people in front of me so I politely asked the lady if she could get the key for me when she had a change,she said I had to wait on line for everybody In front of me. I said I already did the checkout on line and just needed the key, she was not polite at all. I was not please with my experience and do not plan to come back to that location



The help was just lovely. The GM at North White Plains and the person that took the vehicle in were MUCH nicer than I expected. It was busy, however, and the line moved a bit more slowly that I would have liked. Perhaps 2 clerks working the desks would speed the process.

The check in process was unacceptable. The counter was understaffed (one person) and though I used the self check in process, I was online for close to 30 minutes just to get the key to the truck. That wait interfered with my moving schedule and was what I wanted to avoid by doing everything through my phone. Once I got to the counter, the exchange was all of 3 minutes. Outside of that wait, all else was just fine.
