Had problem with mobile access process. Lock wouldn't open and needed assistance. The Customer service rep on duty was rude, unprofessional and not very helpful. When I told him that I had people waiting for me to help move and ask if can get another truck he told me I could either wait until he had time to deal with it or just leave. No sense of urgency or concern. By the way someone else had the same problem and was treated the same way. The truck itself had a very temperamental ignition, took some effort each time to turn key to point that left on as afraid I wouldn't get to start. It worked but certainly wasn't comfortable when I forgot to leave on and had to start up again.Gerard C.

This is the worst location that you can go to. I had to wait over 20 minutes to drop my rental and then they said that I would get a receipt by email in 10 mins. But noâ€¦.what happened they processed my return vehicle 2 hours later and charged my an extra day being that I returned it 30 minutes before the due time, plus they charged me 20 for after hours service fee for no reason. The previous day I had gone personally to extend my rental another day for 1 of two of my equipment, waited there for almost 2 hours, neither the employees or a manager were able to do it. Eventually all had been extended another day. Everytime I call them there is at least a 10 min wait until someone answers the phone. And when they did( me trying to get refund for wrong charges) the guy puts me on hold for 20 minutes then hangs on me. I finally decided to contact the headquarters customer service and they did refund me $100.44 that they wrongly charged me, unbelievable how incompetent and unprofessional these people are. They should hire someone that lives their job and appreciates being paid and gives a good customer service. It is very sad it was not this way a few years ago when I used them. Hopefully I don't have the need to use uhaul in white plains again. Shame on them!!!Delfino R.
The guy that took the rental was very rude and spoke to us in a very threatening tone of voice. He almost suggested to unhook it ourselves. as first timers we could not back up trailer and his comments were not necessary. We had to remind him we were the customers and to please calm down.Agustin M.

Make sure when returning your unit, that you and the U-Haul employee are aware of the amount of fuel in the unit. We went to the gas station before returning the truck to ensure 1/4 was in. We returned the unit thinking everything was OK by just placing it in line with the other trucks and leaving the keys in the cup holder (as the U-Haul employee told us to do it). To our surprise, we received an additional fee since the tank was between 1/8 to 1/4. We already left that location to another state so there is no point of going back and trying to reconcile information, but what a bummer :(Anselm S.

Kiddos to Anny M.!!! Awesome employee. Like every U-Haul I've been to, the location goes from dead to super busy in 10 seconds and proper staffing is understandably difficult to manage. On my two visits here, not only did it become extremely busy all of a sudden, there was literally a difficult customer and another, likely schizophrenic, man carrying on about his life of being under surveillance by foreigners and the FBI. Despite the chaos, Anny was very professional, courteous, and friendly, both behind the counter and when handling the equipment. Anny kept calm and just took care of everything, including de-escalating/calming the difficult customer in front of me. I had a most pleasant experience talking to Anny. I hope U-Haul recognizes and rewards this kind of work-ethic and general demeanor.Behich M.
