After several mishaps and issues with where I was to pick up the auto hauler from I called the Columbus location and they worked diligently to get me to a location while I was enroute to my destination. Stop charging customers for your employees checking in the equipment. Your online check in is a pain. Get out, go to building scan a barcode , go back start truck. Verify milage n fuel. Turn off take pictures, take more pictures. Verify where its parked, etc. Had issue with gas. Gauge didnt raise when filling tank, so now you got extra gas, cuz it's completely full. the woman that checked me out at the register (not the same one that checked in the truck outside) was rude and decided that yelling at me and coworkers as she stormed out, as appropriate. I would have given a no star yelp review if the other customer reps hadn't been so nice and helpful,NEVA B.
I did the 24/7 share. I received my lockbox code to get the key, went and unlocked it and there was no key inside. However, I was able to find an employee and get the key. It was a slight inconvenience but overall not a big deal since it didn't delay me much.Mark R.

I had a horrible experience with Uhaul. I was told my Uhaul reservation was a pick up at one location and drop off at a second location. I asked twice to confirm this information. When I attempted to drop off the truck, the location had closed earlier and I was unable to reach the location I rented from. After 30 minutes on hold I spoke with the corporate customer service who informed me I had to drive the truck back to the original rental location because it was not set up to drop off at another store. This resulted in over $50 more in cost in addition to over an hour of my time after moving all day. I was threatened to be charged an additional day if it was not returned by 8pm when I was original told we could have the truck for a full 24 hours (this would have been 10am the next day). I requested the store manager call me however, I received no phone call or response to my email communication with the store. There was no customer service at the corporate level and I feel that it was absolutely ridiculous that in the hour I was on the phone attempting to resolve this, I could not speak to one person at the store I rented from.KONRAD Z.

Don't close the store before the stated time. If the store closes at 7 the doors shouldn't be locked at 6:55 and the employee outside was no help. Just repeated we're closed 3 times. She didn't care about me showing her the time on the wall inside the store either. Just told me to put the keys in the drop box. Super rude. So I got charged for 2 days. My cell phone was dead so I couldn't do the online drop off either. I should note when I picked the truck up that associate was very pleasant but this other one left me pissed off.SUSAN M.

It was a very busy day and there was a wait time, even though I reserved ahead. But everyone was helpful and pleasant regardless. The original unit was too small, and staff was very accommodating with changing to a different unit. Upon arrival a gentleman GPS my mileage for me. Went straight there and back. Upon dropping truck off a different gentleman tells me I owe 45$ extra for miles. I totally disagree but I payed it. Didnt get credit for having over half a tank of gas and drove it back in the ice storm. I could had left it in ky. Not happy with this service at allSTEPHANIE H.

The trailer had a short in the wire harness that caused me not to have running lights. I was able to wait, while the agent looked for a blown fuse on our Jeep, until daylight. Without the need for the lights that day we were fine. The dealership is second to none that we have rented from over the many years of being a customer which easily made up for the failure to check the trailer prior to the rental. This was an AWFUL experience!!! ðŸ˜¢ðŸ˜ The truck smelled awful & drove EXTREMELY AWFUL on the road!!! ðŸ˜£ This truck SHOULD NOT be on the road at all. It drove worse than a freight train; it was loud & made a lot of noise, & it was the worse U-Haul I have ever rented!!! ðŸ˜£ My cousin was helping me; when he got out of the truck on the passenger side, ALL the molding around the door fell down & hit him all in the face & around his neck!!! ðŸ˜£ It was like the "U-Haul from Hell." ðŸ˜¢ðŸ˜ I WILL NEVER rent from this location EVER again!!! ðŸ˜ž PLEASE retire ALL your TRASHY trucks, PLEASE & thank you.DEBRA F.

The staff was disrespectful the day we went to remove all of our belongings and close out our month. We ran in to an issue with them not having a utility dolly for us to use but we had been charged for one, and did not try to help us in any way to find a solution. All they did was laugh in our face and told us to figure it out. I was really disappointed and upset that I reached out to uhaul customer service while in store and they worked to help us find a dolly nearby at another location and we were able to complete our move out.
