They were helpful, but I checked in online and still had to wait, so how does this speed up the process? Returned trailer 4hrs early and was helped by associate with removing from hitch. Told no need to go inside that they would take care of and email. Received email today with charges of two day rental. Told that I should have closed online. I have used before and usually either don't have equipment or attitude. STAY AWAY!

I am curious why not one staff member was wearing a mask. I simply could not figure that out. The vehicle was very clean except for the interior windshield. It did look like someone used a rag that was too wet. Outside of that, the hand dolly and truck was in great condition. The man who helped me was nice and funny. The one lady outside was really awesome. Laid back, funny, and had a great attitude and customer service. She is a keeper. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the mask situation.

My only complication was the online check-out process. I had to take multiple pictures before the pictures would upload and my last picture would not upload after taking hundreds of pictures for 20 minutes. I called the main UHaul line and was hung up on when the associate could not hear me from the lot being next to an Amazon warehouse and truck noise. I ended up dropping off my key and calling them again on my way home so I wasn't standing in an empty parking lot at night surrounded by truck where nobody could see me if something happened. After calling they were satisfied with my check-out. I did call the next day to let them know the rubber protective mat in the back of the van I rented was sticking up from the floor where you step in the vehicle. This is hazardous when stepping in carrying heavy objects. I did fall but thankfully was not injured. The next person may not be so lucky. I brought it to their attention to hopefully avoid an injury.

No one at front desk when I came in to rent. After waiting awhile, had to go hunt someone down. Return experience was not any better. Long wait with only a few people in front. Pickup and return process needs much work. Also, every time I go in there seems to be a problem with checking out, ie cash drawer won't open, credit card machine doesn't work, or people doesn't know how process works and much be coached.

While doing my paperwork, one employee instructed another employee that because of some repair, tenants would not be able to access their units for 3 days. This was disturbing. Perhaps should not have been discussed in front of a potential customer. 😳

It always seems that even though I check in on line, we still go through the whole process in person. Not unique to this location.

No face masks worn by employees, computers have been broken down for weeks causing for extremely long check in. Using the online check in was not useful as I had to keep adding photos of DL and it kept kicking me back out.

When I tried to return to the location given to me by a u-haul representative the business was closed with no drop box. Tried calling and just got messages that you were closed. Got ahold of someone finally and they gave me a different location to drop off your vehicle in the morning, further away than the original drop. We were there first thing in the morning and dropped the vehicle off. My card was charged for going over the mileage. It would NOT have been over the mileage if the first destination was a proper drop spot. I know it's only $5 and change but I shouldn't have been charged to begin with if I was given a proper drop spot in the first place.

The lady who worked at the register seemed miserable. It didn't help that the lug nuts on each of the hubcaps were loose. One of the hubcaps went flying off onto the side of the road and we had to go find it. When we got parked we tightened all of the lug nuts and eventually the hubcap came off again so we had to stop again to get it.

When we hooked up trailer,the lights on trailer wasn't working,so we grabbed another adapter,still nothing,found out 2 fuses blown and 2 relays,ran down to advance auto and they were out,i had to have trailer and knew u-haul wouldn't let me leave with trailer until i do my part,i noticed other relays where same size so i swapped them and was able to get lights on,all marking lights wasn't working but the main lights were and a couple marker lights.if u-haul would carry a small inventory of relays,or 1157s with pig tail like u-haul use to carry that would have worked,other then that it went smooth.

The agent who helped us was very helpful. We had some issues with trailer lights and she worked hard to help us resolve them. This was a lifesaver! Only negative was the trailer floor was very dirty and greasy. We had to clean it before loading.

My Irgun always reservation was for Clover SC. When I called Sunday morning I was informed that my reservation had been cancelled. I immediately went online and there was a truck available at this location. I'm thankful for the folks at this location, they saved and my sister was able to get moved.

Convenient location, lots of selection/inventory. Clean lobby. Many of the employees are in a mad scramble, and not very friendly or forthcoming with assisting. Maybe under-staffed? Maybe poor training? The parking lot surface at the exit is in poor condition. Hard on vehicles (and your equipment)

Concerned as I didn't get the blankets not the dolly I paid for when I left, and when I returned, the same gentlemen checked me in, and when I told him of this, he said the charges were removed, only to see my emailed receipt and the charges were still there, and the boxes for giving and receiving the items was checked. That is unless otherwise explained, just milking the client. Not happy.

This site was the 2nd site of pickup. The 1st site of pickup was the worst experience ever and I refused to give my money to that uhaul dealer. The dealer rep was the rudest ever and uhaul should be embarrassed to have him rep the co ..I am going to take that experience as far as possible in reporting to the BBB, and any other business outlet I can. My trip was delayed, he was a horror story. Wilkinson road saved the day

I was delayed 6 hours because the trailer I reserved was given to someone who didn't have it verified by Uhaul staff. Therefore I was extremely late in being prepared for my trip. When I got to Wilkinson location, none of the info that I had pre-loaded was in the system because the original location did not transfer my reservation properly. Frustrating all around!

I had made two reservations before I went to this location. One for 11:15 and one for 12:00 . Nobody called me to let me know it wouldn't be ready til 4 pm. I was on hold for an hour just to get the run around. I called back and made another reservation and the truck was ready at 12:30 after canceling two prior reservations which I had already paid for. Corporate did not show they cared about my service or time whatsoever.

I received several calls saying that my pick up was still pending but it was not the case. I was already loading the truck with my belongings. Then again received a call 2 or 3 hrs later to inquire about a $5 fee that they said it was pending.... ( When I already paid and left the counter) so I had to get my card and make the $5 over the phone in the middle of my move.

Originally to pick up at another location- when arrived, advised to go to the Wilkinson Blvd location- which we passed on the way. Clerk was great changed our pick up time so we did not lose our reservation because of being late.

Don't add insurance to my bill when I already selected no online and requested no when asked during pickup. Also, please don't have an attitude with me when your verbal directions where to park the trailer for drop off are vague. I would have parked it anywhere you asked and was willing to move it so I don't understand the poor attitude you showed.

Location changed because the truck I reserved was not available at original location. UHAUL must do a better job of advising customers when the pick-up location changes, rather than simply update the address in your system.

Check in was fine, return was horrible. Employees should be reminded that this is a customer service, and as such, should behave professionally. People with the tendency of temper tantrums, especially when the reason has nothing to do with the customer, should start thinking if they are fit for a customer facing job.

Manager / owner of location . I was informed since I had to keep truck longer than 1 day that she was penalizing me approx $50 even though online CSR said it was no problem and there would be no penalty.. also when I was booked I was told no problem but when I rented and asked for extra day I was told absolutely not.. truck was scheduled for someone else even though I know there other locations with trucks available. Moving is very stressful and I usually rent from Budget but decided since Uhaul was close I would try .. mostly likely never again . I don't understand how the manager/ owner could override what you are told by online ...who are we supposed to believe?? It's unfair that she was allowed to do this just to do it .. poor customer service. I was made to believe I could suck it up and pay the penalty or else have truck back on time. She kept asking me to approve penalty charge and Zi said no and she said was documenting I was told and also writing up the CSRs that told me no problem to add extra day to rental... they were going to be in trouble. Sad .. and vindictive.

I reserved my U-Haul and 24 hours before Uhaul called me and told me my location on Albemarle Road was not available that Harrisburg Road was available with my 26 foot truck I went in at 2 o'clock like I was told to and they told me if I was 15 minutes late they would cancel my reservation because it's high demand so I got there at 2 o'clock I walked in cave my name and the guy goes oh Sheri Butler your Uhaul is not available. I said yes it is they called me yesterday and it's reserved a 26 foot four today I have 16 people waiting for me at my storage unit then we're going to my house and loading it up because I sold my house tomorrow and then we're leaving in the morning so I want you here he said we don't have one the person who's your how you're supposed to use has not returned it and we can get a hold of them I said what are you going to do he said we don't have any available. So he called the U-Haul company and they checked around there was none the guy said he would stay open and try to find me one finally got a hold of one after we were there over an hour about an hour and a half I should say and the guy said he could have one to us in three hours so now this is 4 1/2 hours that would've gone by where I had 16 people lined up to help me at 2 o'clock !!unacceptable!!!So we left we got a phone call from Uhaul and they said they found one for us on Wilkinson Boulevard which is 40 minutes away plus it was the middle of rush hour so we went and picked it up brought it back to our storage unit they didn't have the padding that I had requested that were supposed to be in the U-Haul I got no discount I got no one saying they were sorry or anything it was the most horrible experience! So we left we got a phone call from Uhaul and they said they found one for us on Wilkinson Boulevard which is 40 minutes away plus it was the middle of rush hour so we went and picked it up brought it back to our storage unit they didn't have the padding that I had requested that were supposed to be in the U-Haul I got no discount I got no one saying they were sorry or anything it was the most horrible experience. I went in Sunday to get the storage unit set up in Elyria Ohio so we can unload my stuff from the U-Haul into the storage unit and their power was out so we had to stay there 45 minutes And they said they didn't have any Storage units available there we had to go to a different location so we go to that location and my key card doesn't work that they gave me so we had to wait an additional seven minutes for some guy from the other facility that we are originally at to come there and Open the door then he told us we have to take somebody from my group that was helping unload the U-Haul to stand in front of the door because the doors not working because if we let the door close we may not get it open again so that was one less body of helping us unload once again because of Uhaul and no one even act like they even care and I was like oh well so I had for Issues from Friday to Sunday no Uhaul no padding took forever just to get a storage unit assigned and then we couldn't get into the storage facility so I had the worst experience experience!Open the door then he told us we have to take somebody from my group that was helping unload the U-Haul to stand in front of the door because the door is not working because if we let the door close we may not get it open again so that was one last body of helping us unload once again because of Uhaul and no one even acted like they even care and it was like oh well so I had four issues from Friday to Sunday no Uhaul no padding took forever just to get a storage unit a sign and then we couldn't get into the storage facility so I had the worst experience

Pick-up process was excellent. Return process at 7:15 AM was not. Only one person doing everything inside the location. She was clearly overwhelmed, although was well trained and did her best despite having to deal with multiple people at once.

The lady that checked us in needs customer service training - she was rude and aggressive. I paid for the "walk-away" insurance, and she made me test lights, check the trailer inside/out, and I had to park it into the spot. Plus, our trailer was due atm11 AM, we showed at 10:58 AM and were charged an extra day since it took 15 minutes for the lights and parking.

They failed to see that the transporter was too low to the ground. I didnt know until i dropped it off the guy told me how dangerous it was that they let me go without turning the receiver around to raise it 2 more inches. The trailer scrapped on every dip in the road. It was never racking going home which was a 4 hour drive. I kept stopping to check on it. I wish I new it could have been easily resolved. This would be where uhaul would shine above the rest but you failed putting my wife and myself in great danger.

Please consider providing a camera monitored dumpster for your patrons. I realize this could present problems, but it would go a long ways to assist those with small amounts of unwanted items.
