Stacey WI waited 20 mins at the East Petersburg Location for a U-Haul representative, and no one showed up. Check the cameras to see if I am lying, I was watching my clock to whole time. After waiting another customer came in for propane and he was assisted first, which I was ok with but still had to wait longer now. They were listening to loud music in the background. I understand that there was only one person working, but to wait that long was unnecessary. Asked for a military discount and there is none because I am still active. When I did get the vehicle to use it, I was possibly going to be late because I drove very far. I called 3 times to the U-Haul dealer and no one responded. Even another representative tried to help me to transfer to an onsite personnel because she stated that only the dealer can assist with working it out with me. I ended up keeping it for another day because it was so inconvenient to contact them and it was getting late. When I dropped off the vehicle, I had no directions on what to do or where to drop it off or where to put the key. Again, loud music and one of the workers was smoking a cigarette. Extremely unprofessional. I stood around for 10 mins outside looking like an idiot before asking, do you want me to leave, and am I ok? and they finally said oh yeah, you can go..... Absolutely UNPROFESSIONAL. I WILL BE BUYING MY OWN TRUCK SO I WILL NOT HAVE TO UTILIZE U-HAUL AGAIN!!! I will def be leaving a negative review on Google that is for sure!

Edward HThe location was very busy and there was not enough staff to handle the customer volume upon truck pickup. Upon returning the truck, there was only one clerk on duty and he did not care what I did with the return. He said he has to do other things and just took my key.
Tom LIt was easy to order and then when I got there and realized I needed a bigger vehicle, the staff was great at getting that done. Return was super easy too. Great price helps.
Justine MTrailer 3166 does have a small water leak when raining in the driver side front ceiling corner. Otherwise the group at the Main Street location was VERY accommodating. We needed a trailer to transport indoor color guard equipment including a 200# vinyl tarp on a wheeled cart. So much easier to get the cart into the trailer with a dropdown/ramp type tailgate. The group at the Main Street location went over and above to make sure that each of the 4 times I rented from them that I got this particular 5X8 trailer. Thank you guys so much!!!!
Nicolas RIgnition switch and/or key was faulty and needed to be moved in and out in order to start truck. Needs to be replaced. Advised the return employee of this situation, didn't respond or appear to be interested in noting the issue.
Geoffrey WThis was a Saturday morning pick up with only one person at the counter. The line was long as was the wait. The UHaul front person kept his shit together and was very, very pleasant and efficient. Confirmed reservations should get priority over walk-ins! Needs to be some way to take care of us with reservations ahead of the hopeful walk-ins. Walk-ins always take longer and they often need a truck or trailer that is not prepped. Your front guy was amazing! He was doing the work of 2+ people.

EDWARD LI asked a customer service rep how much it would be for a 26 ft truck for 5 hours. I was told $50. When I got to the register, I was charged hundreds of dollars. I felt deceived. If you are going to charge people $1 per mile, you need to be more up front and honest about it. I will not be using U-Haul again any time soon and I will be telling all my friends who don't know U-Haul about this story. Also, the truck felt like something underneath the frame was dragging on the road.

JERRY DI’ve rented several times from here to transport equipment to and from indoor color guard competitions. The staff has been extremely helpful in making sure I have a trailer with a ramp tailgate making loading and unloading the equipment much easier. Thank you so much for accommodating my special needs. It is very much appreciated!!!

Dana BExtremely tight lot. There was no parking available at drop off. Tried to park off to the side and was getting honked at by another customer multiple times even though there was room to get around me. After I moved, he continued to honk which was extremely rude. Representative didn't tell us we needed to take pictures of the vehicle and mileage/gas prior to us leaving the lot or how to return the vehicle. The vehicle itself had a scraped up passenger side. The associate was nice but wasn't even in the building when we arrived, we had to wait 10 minutes for service. The location had just opened for the day so there were no other customers ahead of us that she would have been helping. Overall, it was not a positive experience and we will probably go to a different location in the future for rental needs.

BENJAMIN ZOnly one team member was scheduled on a Saturday. There was a long line of people picking up and after waiting 20 min waiting for my vehicle to be checked-in from return I decided to leave and wait for my receipt. My mileage was not updated from the estimate to actual which resulted in me paying $10 more for my rental.

RICHARD WUpon arrival for pickup a employee was sitting behind the counter counting change and dropping the F-Bomb to himself. I stood there for 10 minutes untill he(Nathan) finished his whatever he was doing. There was another customer behind me as well. This is totally unexceptable!!! All I heard was complaining. Keith HMAKE SURE THE TOW VEHCILE HAS THE PROPER FUSES IN IT FOR LIGHTS ON TRAILER. EXAMPLE MY VEHICLE HAD #10s AND WENT TO #25s, END OF PROBLEM. IT WAS THAT SIMPLY. THAT YOU AND GOD BLESS.

CHRISTOPHER FPickup location was excellent, even while they were training a new employee on the system. I would recommend this to anywone. I picked up on Friday 20th, and drove Sunday 22nd. I returned the equipment to the drop off location a day BEFORE the due date of 23rd, since a blizzard was coming on the 23rd.

Tyree LI had an exceptionally good experience picking up the trailer. At first, they couldn't release the trailer since my truck wiring was malfunctioning. While I was in the lot working on it, Amos came by and helped me out. Together we got it working. I was extremely relieved. Amos was extremely helpful and friendly. Kayla was also very helpful and friendly during the whole process. Kayla and Amos are the model of how everyone should be at all Uhaul locations. The next time I need to rent a truck or trailer in this area, I'll go out of my way to use this location.

DEAN FTayla almost always has a lot of people to wait on but she treats each customer with kindness. She knows what she needs to do and gets it done very quickly so the lines go down quickly and people are on their way quickly. I always have a great experience at UHaul and when Tayla is working, things run even smoother.
CHRISTOPHER GThis location was awful for customer service. Upon arriving for my 12pm pick up, I found that the truck was surrounded by 6 or so inches of snow while other trucks were more available. I alerted stand in the building and was met with them asking very confused and snippily "what do you mean....it is surrounded by snow?" I explained again that the truck had a lot of snow around it. They asked if I could get it out and I said I didnt think so and that id feel uncomfortable doing so. The rep just stared at me but then said someone would come and look. I had a shovel in my car so I began to dig. Another rep dug a little too but then just took the keys and drove the truck out of the snow. He didn't say anything to me and came across very angry. I then noticed the truck was missing the dolly rental I had asked for. So I went inside and there was no one available so I waited 10 minutes. When someone returned they asked what I needed and I told them. She told me to just take the one by the door. When I brought the truck back to the drop off lane at 658pm (prior to them being closed at 8pm) I waited for someone to come out to the drop-off lane area. After 10 min, I decided to just do the return via app. As soon as I finished and turned the truck off, the rep from earlier came out, didnt say a word and took the dolly out. When I went to put the key in the drop box, he intercepted me and did not say anything so I said "oh I can give you the key?" And he took it. And got in the truck and turned it on. This process was drawn out, with me spending until nearly 1pm instead of getting the truck at 12pm, and same for evening drop off. I fueled the truck more than the level of what I got it at but there was no recognition in my costs for that. Ive had decent experiences with Uhaul in the past but this was not one of them.
