I was charged for gas I didn't use - I drove the truck for 20 miles for a local move and put four gallons of gas in when I was done and they still charged me almost $30. for gas upon return.Nicole L.

Absolutely everything was good for my return and it went well. My biggest problem is that my sister left her wallet in the truck. It had an Apple air tag inside and it's last know location was this UHAUL. I was sent the receipt for my UHAUL via the attendants device and moments later pinged the Apple air tag at the UHAUL location. This is to state that I got the receipt while I was there and the time stamp for the Apple air tag is later after we left so it was at this location. We drove home and realized we didn't have the wallet and checked the next day. The wallet was not there. The Apple air tag is no longer responding. The wallet had 100$ in it and all my sisters identification. Including her retired Veterans ID, Drivers license and medical cards as well as her credit cards and debit cards. I find it hard to believe that no one saw it and that the Apple air tag just for some reason stopped responding to location update. I do feel like someone took the money and discarded the rest and and no one is coming forward. We told the attendant there about this issue and he hasn't seen it and no one has been able to find it and he said he texted their group chat. Still nothing. I don't expect to get the money back but if someone finds the wallet my sister would like it back.Sara W.

Was told when signing the contract that the gas tank on the truck that I would be renting is full, but when I got into the truck and started it up, it had roughly a quarter of a tank of gas in it. Both staff members told me I had to take a picture of this and the mileage and submit it in order for this issue to be resolved. So instead of them fixing this for my reservation or providing a different truck, I had to start my day with a quarter tank of gas. The gentlemen that reviewed the equipment when I returned the truck was very nice and helpful and submitted this information for his review, so I didn't need to do extra work for an issue that I didn't cause.Steven S.

The truck I was assigned had a major scratch down the driver's side of the truck that wasn't documented by uhaul I had to disagree with the condition and unload the photo's documenting the scratch before departure. This just added unnecessary time for the client.Roger C.

Parking seems an issue at East Pete location. It is difficult to pull in and out of driveway safely at times due to this issue as many of the larger trucks are lined up and cannot see the road to pull out. Other than this, 5 stars.Guy M.

She assumed that I received email notifications to do preregistration of my license, until I had to explain that I did not receive the emails since the equipment was only reserved that morning. I selected a specific pick up and drop off location which was closest to my house a month in advanced and I got a text a week before pick up that my pick up was at a different location. I called and told them I was upset and they said they'd change my mileage to 79 cents and it wasn't changed. I still paid .99. What's the point of selecting a location when you change it a week before move date? This is the second time this has happened to me. It's super frustrating because I'm charged per mile so I paid 20 extra miles than I would have originally.Kali V.

I can't believe how awful this entire experience was. I have not undergone so much stress in my life. First off, your website says a one bedroom will fit easily into one box. That is complete bullshit. You need to take that down that's your fault. It would barely fit in a dorm room. Fix it. And then to get a second U-Haul box was a complete disaster. None of your facilities were ready when they were supposed to be and I ended up having to leave at 9:30 PM to drive across the country. Furthermore your entire Customer Service team is under trained and mismanaged (Or not managed at all). To just ask a simple question - I would just get transferred over and over again. No one has compensated me for my time stress and broken belongings either. Zero stars. The service was great but the scheduling was terrible. They scheduled the hitch install but didn't have the hitch in stock when I arrived. I got a text message the second time and had to call them to confirm it wasn't a mistake and that they actually had the hitch in stock. When I went to get it installed, they only booked 1/2 hour to do the replacement which wasn't enough time so I had to reschedule yet again. I ended up removing the old hitch myself because I wanted to inspect the condition of the car's frame before the new hitch was installed. It needed some touch-up paint. The new hitch was installed on the third visit but I didn't get any call or text when the job was completed.Forrest S.

The 5x8 trailer had a leak and my stuff inside got wet! When I told the U-Haul rep when checking in they didn't seem to care at all. I had the trailer for 3 days but returned it the next day because of the leak. No one even asked if I wanted a replacement trailer?Ronald B.
