In Santa Clara location both units was with flat tires, looks like no body check that, and they can't switch tires! Too bad ended up expending 2 extra hours plus 10 extra miles to get the equipment at other location!!Luisarmando M.

sadly I only have a motorcycle and a bicycle having shipped my truck out of state. I only use this location because it's 2 miles from my house and I have received poor service both days in a row, with today's experience with the Manager. If I was the GM, Franchise Owner or regional manager and it was witht my power I would replace this GM and retrain the remaining employees. Aftee being bold face lied to by the GM who used his personal cell phone to photograph my license for the rental, he told me "our app deletes the photo after sending". No app has this ability, and a personal device to take corporate information is a massive risk to UHaul for no gain. After gettt today's truck the employee who gave it to me commented there's no water in this one loke yesterday's truck. Respectfully, tour business is renting a working truck for moving, not a ill maintained and leaking truck which a customer is responsible to resolve.Tom W.

Still waiting for a refund. We went over the optional area to be cut, I asked to see it prior to the bumper to cut at the time where it says optional cut, and the manager, Henry said he doesn't want to do the install. In your email it says. "Please ask your Hitch Install Professional if you''d like to see the area to be trimmed prior to the installation." This is for hitch installation for Model X. What I asked to see for the optional area to cut at the time of install, and he refused. It really doesn't make any logical sense. Again I am still waiting for a refund.michael B.
I don't know why I have to go inside to pickup a trailer. In these pandemic days it should be touch-less and seem less by using Internet registration. Just tell me which trailer is mine in the lot and I'll get it. If your staff need to hitch it then they can do that outside without me even getting out of my car, let alone going inside. Also, I rent a trailer 4-6 times per year. Why do I have to scan it in every time? Lots of areas of improvement available here, like auto check-in with QR codes on trailers that trigger when driven into lot... DanDANIEL M.

Very annoying that you want customers to sign in on their phone to return the truck. Your website wouldn't recognize my husbands location so we just left the truck. You shouldn't assume everyone has a smart phone.ANGELA R.
Truck didnt have much gas, wasnt sure if that was normal. <30 miles of fuel left according to display. Also need clearer information about length of time reservations and if you need to extend how much that costs or if you drop it off late if fees apply.John S.

I think you should start the trucks with a full tank. It's silly that when I pick up a truck I have to then fill the tank and then guess how much I'll useâ€¦much more straightforward to have the customer return the truck full. Please make this change. I'm sure you had some MBA implement this stupid system because you actually make money on the customer's poor estimation but you're aggravating your customers unnecessarily.Todd T.

Make sure the online application matches the actual pickup time. I applied for an 8 am pickup time 3 days prior to my pickup day and it was not available until an hour and 15 minutes later. I had to wait in the cold weather until the store opened at 9 am. The staff member who was there earlier was rude and brushed me off assuming I had made a mistake on my reservation. Even after I showed him my online reservation for 8 am he still did not make any offer to help. He simply said, "I don't have your order." The front desk staff member was much kinder and customer friendly, but was only able to offer me a gas discount.ROYMOND K.

I spoke with people via phone twice, and both times they were helpful and professional.. super pleasant. I added a day to my reservation, woman who I deal with was lovely and helpful. I went into the business on Cambden, and the guy working there was professional and super pleasant! I dropped off the vehicle today, didn't want to wait in line, so dropped the keys in the slot, and when I got home there was a note in my email that they'd received the vehicle. Representative of UHaul, took his time coming to computer. Was standing in office door drinking water. Said I'll be with you at the computer in a minute. While we were checking out, he was paying very close attention to his phone looking up football scores. He seemed nice, but didn't seem to care about the customer at his desk.SHAWN O.
The online checkin was confusing, and I had to walk up to the counter. The return was smooth. Suggestion: UHaul should provide number of gallons to fill based on the mileage, i.e. If I drive 50 miles I need to fill 4 Gallons. Takes the guess work. The equipment was good but the computer system sucked. One person sounded very frustrated with the equipment and the other - seemingly a manager type - finally took control of the situation and did a completely new contract. Although I finally got out of there with the trailer, it was not without a significant delay which caused other headaches. Please fix whatever problem that caused the delays in spite of having a contract all completed prior to arrival.Lakshmikant M.

I'm a first-time U-Haul renter and was not familiar with the check-out and check-in procedures. The personnel were not very helpful in this regard, behaving as though I should know exactly what to do and giving very few useful clues. the U-Haul system is very well-organized and supported with online interaction, but the employees are just blindly executing those procedures without helping the customer use them effectively. At check-in, the employee was very vague about what he wanted me to do and after disconnecting the trailer he removed my personal electrical adapter and set on the bumper without telling me. There was no reason for him to remove it and If I hadn't thought to stop, get out and look for it, then it would have fallen off and been lost. This was very inconsiderate and sloppy work.James M.

I called the location to ask some questions, while filling out the online reservation. The lady who took my call answered my question and filled out the reservation for me, and provided some advice and answered some more questions. The rental went very well. I returned the vehicle after hours. The return process there fell over, because uhaul.com/share could not find my reservation. When I tried to return over the phone, I faced a 60 minute wait time. Although it called me back after an hour, it promptly hung up on me when I answered. So something went wrong with the online systems wrt returns. But overall I was happy with it.TRACY C.

My original order was to pick up the van at the Moving Truck Rental in Campbell, CA at North Star Gas Station. When we arrived to pick it up, the attendant said the van was stuck in another state. I had re-order a van and drive to White Oaks Road to pick it up which cut into our moving time. I won't be using an alternate pick up location, again.Mary Ann B.
