This is the first time I have had an issue with a rental. Water from the road came up through a section of the floor and ruined a box spring. I realize that the fine print says the vehicle are not guaranteed watertight, but what do you do when it rains? On my last trip to SC it rained the entire way and there was no issue
Neal NHad a snafu with the check-in and was charged for an extra day. I called back and they took care of the problem right away.
Stephen GI didn't catch the guys name that checked me in and out but he was very helpful. He informed me to take pictures of the mileage and the van before I left. I'm glad I listened. The mileage listed on the contract before I left the lot was 418, however; when I got into the van and started it, the actual mileage was 462. I had a time stamped photo of that - thank goodness because they were prepared to charge me for 44 miles I did not drive. He checked my photo and he checked my time stamp. When we got that worked out and I was charged the correct miles (78) I noticed on my final receipt that the mileage was correct but calculated at the 418 miles (plus 78) So the next person that rents that vehicle BETTER check the mileage. It was 540 when I parked it back on the lot. Someone drove that van 44 miles and I believe they are trying to pass those miles onto the next person. For this reason I give the "Average" rating. The guy that checked me in and out - he was awesome and the best advice he gave was to take those pictures.

Elizabeth PI was in hurry to return some scaffolding to a rental agency before they closed for the day. The Uhaul representative was very efficient and got me in the truck and on the road very quickly. I was then able to return the scaffolding in time.

DOUGLAS DThe equipment was in disrepair. The passenger side door was falling apart, and often wouldn't close properly. "Service Stabilitrak" was coming up on the dashboard.
SHEILA SThe young man who helped us was very helpful. Unfortunately, there was an older gentleman who came out and said to the young man, "Are you sure we cannot charge them with something?" The young man proceeded with the checkout and we were on our way.
Natoscha MPicking up the equipment was flawless, the gentleman who was working when I picked up was incredibly helpful and nice. The equipment and price was as advertised and zero issues. The problem was drop off, I waited inside while my wife waited in the vehicle as the guy inside who was respectful directed my attention outside where the other gentleman working was processing my return, I come outside to find him having a complete and utter attitude and meltdown, he didn’t even know how to properly disconnect the equipment from my vehicle and literally ripped the wiring out of my vehicle as I told him it was still hooked up, he then struggled with moving it and I offered to do it for him, he gave my wife an attitude because I wasn’t in my vehicle because I WAS INSIDE WAITING IN LINE! I will not use this location again based on that experience alone. BE MORE PROFESSIONAL SIR!!!!

FREDERICK SKelley was rude when I asked a simple question about the fuel level not matching. His demeanor and attitude was unnecessary and left a bad experience with us. The representative that rented me the u-haul just told me that my agreement was sent to my email and the level of fuel to return. I just asked Kelley to simply update on his end that the gas was not matching but apparently that was too much of a request.

VLADIMIR KRick was amazing in working with us and being patient with figuring out what we needed to help move a piece a furniture. He was patient, as this was my first time ever using or renting a U-Haul. When dropping off, the clerk present was also helpful. The process was easy and I would recommend anyone who needed help to utilize this service.

JEFFREY BThe car carrier was unsuitable for towing a Tesla Model S as the clearance is too high and needs modification or a small ramp to lift the front air dam over the wheel stops at front of the carrier. My entire air dam and wheel well liner were ripped off when removing the car and this is not covered in the instructions or details. A bit worriesome as the U-Haul site says the car will fit and my Tesla is bone stock… so it’s now going in for body repair. Not a great experience - not the locations fault but U-haul needs to update its equipment.
Richard HMy trucks pulleys in the engine bay were loud and I was afraid it was going to leave me stranded. I came back a day early and was charged a second day only by 45 mins instead of an hourly rate I get charged a full day. This was not a good experience. The truck had close to 100k miles.
