The employees were personable and did their jobs well. The truck on the other hand, was not well-maintained. The sunvisors (both) were in bad shape and the latch was damaged and stuck. I had to push it in and pry it open with a lot of force. Definitely shouldn't be renting out the truck without fixing that latch as not everybody would be able to open that.
Mark MTell the clerk to calm down and to atleast respect other people. Having an attitude towards every customer that walks in and having air pods in the whole time is not professional.
JAKOB KExcellent and helpful staff! Gas level was barely 1/4 tank for 15 ft truck. Truck obviously has low mpg. It wasn’t clear how far an empty truck can travel or how many gallons are on 1/4 tank. It would be nice to get a heads up with either info.
Heriberto DI was disappointed with my recent rental experience. I added 1.5 gallons of gas before returning the van and only drove less than 10 miles yet I was charged an additional $22 for fuel. Based on the distance I drove, this charge doesn’t seem reasonable. I expected a fair and accurate assessment of the fuel used. I hope U-Haul reviews its fuel charges more carefully to ensure customers are billed correctly.

Lewis HMostly self help. Gave me truck with check engine light and tire light on. When I told them they scanned it, told me it was ok and reset the check engine light. A mile down the road it came back on. I reported it on roadside chat. When I returned it I mentioned to the rep outside and he says yeah we knew about it. I only went 9 miles and it worked but not a great experience. Windshield was not clean but rest of the truck was. Hated having to wait for my information to be verified by two other references. I’m not sure why my license and ccard aren’t good enough on thier own. Only thing I’ve ever rented with extra verification. Not customer friendly at all. Staff on site were very nice and polite.

Kenneth CReservations were changed the day before I moved. U-Haul informed me on the day of my reservation saying I had to return the U-Haul back to the same place I picked it up. This is not what I reserved or was told when they changed my reservation. It made me move the plans I already had set for moving on the day I started my move.
Owen CWhile driving I realized the passenger side mirror was free spinning, unable to see if vehicles were to my right so I can switch lanes, luckly for me I had a passanger that had to stick her head out the window to check, when I arrieved to the location I opened the box door it had a bad odor, a used pillow, clothing and a super dirty blanket like if it was being used to sleep in. When I returned the Uhaul I told the representative my concerns and was told that they knew about the mirror problem and apologized for the items in the back. While I accept the apology it does not make it right, this whole experience is completely un acceptable it is super dangerous and careless to loan out a defected vehicle, not just to me but also the other drivers around me, and I should not have to clean someone elses mess to be able to use something that should be cleaned to beggin with.

jose cthat was my first rental. I would have skipped the insurance because I'm covered by insurance but the information provided on your site stated not all insurance companies cover rental incidents so I signed up for an additional $15 per day. I think you should make that statement very clear if that is the case but I'm going to call me insurance co and ask if I would have been covered had something happened. z the bottom line is I'm disappointed in the end now much it cost. Next time I'm skipping the insurance. other than that everything else went smoothly. thanks

MARTINA SWe rented from here before to do a pick-up with same day return. The process was somewhat easy, I don't particularly care for using the app. I'm old school and like talking with the employees. I called to reserve a 15' U-Haul, and came the next day to pick it up. The young woman remembered me and was very helpful. She even remembered my old school ways! I appreciated that! The return was easy too! It feels good when you come to a business, that you don't use but once a year, and you're treated with courtesy and friendliness! Much thanks and appreciation!!!

Guillermo VI rented a truck and online while I was reserving I said no to the insurance/ coverage charge. Then in person I was asked again and I said no to the charge again. Then when I returned the truck to the location I realized on the receipt that I had been charged the coverage. I would advise reviewing and getting a copy before you leave the location to ensure you’r not being charged for things you don’t want.

Manuel AI actually had a pretty annoying experience. On the website I requested and appliance dolly. It was added into my charges on the website further giving me the impression everything was good to go, however once I got there I was informed that there was no appliance dolly even available at that location ever. So then I had to call around search around and go through a lot of hoops to procure elsewhere and appliance dolly. Then when I dropped the vehicle off my partner did not wait for me to take the photos before dropping off the key with the self checkout. They just simply took pictures themselves and then put the key in the Dropbox. We found out the website does not allow you to upload but only take photos. So I had to pick the feature on the app that my process was unable to take photos. I was told somebody would call me but nobody did instead I was just charged extra fees for having dropped off the van at 10 something whatever. I have documentation and proof that we dropped off the van before 7:30 p.m. so I had to call and get a refund. Oh and before I forget because I stayed up super late the night before packing I wanted to change my time through the app for my pickup from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and the freaking app wouldn't process the edit so I had to make multiple calls to talk to a person to ensure the new time was processed and by that time I was freaking awake. So overall this whole experience with U-Haul was crappy. Like beyond extremely crappy. I'm not going to blame this one particular U-Haul cuz the people they were actually nice but they're definitely was issues between corporate and the website and whatever else.
