The UHaul app is more cumbersome to use than just calling or going in to see a customer rep. I reserved a van on line but then had to get in the app to get verified, despite having already provided the required information in line. The agent helped me navigate the app since I couldn’t fill out a form there. It just doesn’t make it either easier or faster to use the app. Keep the staff- make the app hybrid with the in site database.

OLIMPIO SAmazing location!!! The staff are so friendly. They greet you respectfully and I love the customer service. TJ and Leonard were so pleasant when I came in. Manager Kevin is so professional. The entire team is awesome. I will continue renting here. Very pleased with this UHaul location.
Bei AEverything went fine with my rental. Tracey helped me and she was very knowledgeable moving those big trucks around and handling that equipment to be so small. Very nice personality and the truck has been returned on 5/25/2026 at 2:07pm. The place is in an ideal location being right by the 10W freeway. Jonathan DMaybe a map of where the storage unit is located. My number is A252 but it is on the 3rd floor so it was a little tricky to find in the beginning. I would like to add that Kian who works there was extremely helpful and came up and kindly told me about the closing hours procedure. He gave me enough time to leave and was very kind in doing so.

Gloria HSelf rental return was a painful process! Parking is kind of difficult due to not very organized vehicles & equipments placement in the lot. The parking area is not lighted well after dark. Taking photos of returned truck through the APP was a great challenge and long tedious task. Numerous try and error to complete the photo upload process!
Shunly WCustomer service guy was great. The location is too small to maneuver equipment easily. Staff was overwhelmed with volume and it took quite awhile to complete my transaction. The dude helping me was great though. Theee was just too much business for the number of employees.

ANTHONY RThe van I borrowed had a strong unpleasant odor of cigarette smoke a mixed with bad air freshener trying to cover it up. Holes in driver seat, spilled wax in back compartment, previous renters personal effects still evident. Also, front passenger tire was low on air, low tire pressure icon was lit.
Trast HCrenshaw is a rough area of town, but will use your service again when I have to move out in July 2027, thank you

Doris MI go here to rent a trailer several times per year. The crew is nice. They make it easy for me to hitch up and then hitch off when I return. My only recommendation is for UHaul to consider a frequent rental program.
Aaron RShout out to the U-Haul employee who opened Easter Sunday morning and held it down. There was a line waiting outside before opening. The team member was composed and provided outstanding customer service. They provided efficient check-in and check-out, which made the process seamless. I highly recommend this location and will come back in the future.

Eugene MTAKE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING before you pick up your rental. Something very fishy is going on here, you might be better off going to another location nearby.
EDWIN GWhen I picked up the truck and went to load my belongings, I found that an additional lock had been placed on the back door. It required a passcode, and I was never given one. When I followed up, your team had no information about this lock. It took about 2–3 hours before someone was sent to break it open. During that time, I had already hired two movers for my move, and I was paying them $100 per hour. This delay alone caused significant financial loss. Once the truck was opened, it was full of trash and leftover items, and it clearly had not been cleaned. The truck itself was extremely dirty, with spider webs covering the windows and mirrors. It also had unusually high fuel consumption, far beyond normal. Because of these issues—especially the locked truck—I had to extend my move by an extra day. This meant I had to pay additional costs for the truck rental as well as for the movers. Overall, this situation caused me approximately $500–$600 in damages. This experience has been very disappointing and unacceptable.

Martina CI received excellent customer service when I arrived. However I was charged for gas after returning the fuel to 4 bars. The truck was at 4 bars when it was rented. I should not be charged for gas! The attendant Brianna did not walk out to the truck when I returned and told me I was free to leave when I returned the keys to the counter.
Jina WThe black lady that checked me in was rude and thought I should know all there is to know about mobile check in, I preferred to check in at desk, she was not courteous and down right rude and talked down to me like I should Know everything, I prob would not rent from chrenshaw location again, choose a different location, I do like u haul thanks, Chris Blecher 03-21-2026….

COURTNEY NInitially the rental was quick and easy. Customer service was excellent. The return was a bit of a shock. I wasn’t told that they charged 1.39 per mile and then I was told a different amount. All could have been avoided with just telling me the full price. They tried to make it seem cheaper and it was confusing to not include tax and insurance with the price.

GEORGE WIt be nice if they would tell you about specials or special savings, deals. Before anything. I’m pretty upset that mileage was not discussed with me. Ive’d used U-Haul 3 times in less then 6 months. But this time I feel and believed I was over charged. I have picked up from Santa Monica , Northridge locations and never had paid almost near $300 dollars ? Drove same distance and drove it back to same locations. And with more gas then when I picked it up . They should also see those points .
