The representatives at this location have amazing customer service. The van was dirty on the outside like it could use a rinse off. Tire sensor was faulty.

There was only one staff member there.
BRUCE PLack of parking was the only reason for the 4 over 5 stars selected. Only had the van for a few hours, so would have been helpful to have had a spot to drop since it wasn't a long distance rental.
Nathan HYou need more employees. At least 1 person outside to do the running around. The person inside has to also go out. It took me more than 1/2 to get the truck. It was Not the fault of the employees they did their best to help the customers that were there.

Shontel BAuto transport. One of wheel straps was frayed/ cut so had to go to Western and MLK for replacement. Employees were all excellent.
BETSY SI could not return the truck I rented because other rental vehicles blocked the entry and exit after hours. My personal car was stuck inside because an employee had erroneously told me to move my car and park it in a designated spot on the side if I was leaving my car there during my move. Not only could I not return the truck anyway (because there was literally nowhere to park it), I had to put extra miles/gas on the truck just to return home and then drive back at 7a before the rental period ended at 7:30a. Upon returning, they apologized for the inconvenience and assured me I wouldn’t be charged for any extra miles. Then a few days later when I got my receipt back, I was charged extra anyway. I was frustrated of course but assumed that the situation must not have been communicated or inputted. When I called to try and understand what happened and get a refund, the manager was immediately dismissive and rude. When I explained further how much of an inconvenience all of this was, she couldn’t refute it, but didn’t help. It is what it is, she said. Anyway, the experience was all around really frustrating. I get there are worse things in life than costly inconveniences like this, but the least we can do as people is to try and see each other and help when something unfair happens. That wasn’t the case at U-Haul Crenshaw for me.

The staff at Crenshaw were awesome but U-Haul customer service generally sucks
JULIA AWhomever it was that was there (young black woman) was exceptional. Offered the best customer service. Very patient and was even going out of her way to help a customer who wasnt perfectly fluent in English get his rental while I was waiting to be attended to. 10/10

FULTON WThe personnel at the Crenshaw location were excellent! They were friendly and efficient! They are the ONLY reason I have checked the above boxes. U-Haul pricing policies are awful. The mileage charge for the vehicles are excessive. The $19.95 advertising is deceptive because of $1.09 or more per mile charge. Los Angeles is a massive city and this amount adds up quickly. I recommend tiered pricing where the cost per mile goes down the more miles you drive.

I feel she couldn't care less or be bothered more by customer interrupting her TikTok or Instagram time. Felt ignored each of the many times I have been there (six in the last month) and dealt with specifically her. Other representatives make you feel important and valued- not her. I will look for another location for sure! Very disheartening.
DEUS SLow staff number. When picked up my Uhaul truck, the employee was on their phone. Not the best experience.

MIJA MThe location was fine, the staff were helpful, but the truck came damaged and graffitied (broken mirrors), and the app experience was TERRIBLE and wasted hours of my time. The app cancelled my original reservation because it overbooked a vehicle that wasn’t available in inventory. There was no notification so I didn’t know until I arrived for pickup. This forced me to scramble and go to find a whole new location and start the lengthy annoying app process again
KOVEY C-Truck had TPS warning light on! -Truck had transmission issues (extremely long shift with trans whining noise)!

There were three employees standing there doing absolutely nothing and saying they can’t help me because the regional manager designated the branch as self check out. So I spent ten minutes on my phone putting in all my information and talking to “Candace” from who knows where. I had to put my credit card info in twice. And you called my friend to verify I’m not a thief?! That’s so stupid they could just be an accomplice what does that process achieve? So unbelievably stupid. The whole process was so inhuman, so disgraceful. Staff was very nice though.
