BRYAN RI was not charged for any gas. The gauge started and ended as full, but I went 25. miles so I expect to be charged for 2-3 gallons of gas. Please have my invoice charged for the gas.
ANTHONY PI made the mistake of believing that they hooked the trailer up properly, but it was not tightened on the ball. It is only through pure luck that it did't come loose while I was driving, but as soon as I climbed into the trailer carrying something it lifted completely clear of my hitch.
THOMAS CIlene was super nice and very knowledgeable about the process that made the pick up and drop off very easy. It was very affordable to rent the truck from you. I will definitely recommend your company as well as your location.
ISABEL FThings were very busy so there was some stuff left in the van on the floor, nothing serious. Van was clean and brand new so no issues with the operation of the van. The woman running the shift was very knowledgeable and trying to train a new person as well as take care of the propane tanks. She did an excellent job and knew her job inside and out.

Only concern i experienced was when i dropped off the cargo van, there was no one available to check me out, until someone came out after i knocked on their door simply just said to leave the keys on the table and said im all good to go without checking me out properly, which then they decided to check everything out 45 mins after i left making my van rental supposedly just for the day and brought back with only 23 miles using it, became a 2 day rental because they took their time checking me out exceeding my rental contact.

YURII CEverything was excellent up until the moment I received the receipt. I was charged for the fuel even though I bought fuel at the gas station right across from your location.
VLATKO ZI was charged twice. There were two reservations made somehow and despite repeated attempts to correct that, I kept getting duplicate calls. I was assured multiple times that I wouldn't be charged twice, only to be told by someone named Adam on Sunday, Oct.19 that I was charged twice. He said he was going to talk to his supervisor on Monday, Oct. 20 and then call me back, but he never did. I guess I just have to dispute the charge with my bank.
Amy PDrop off was simple and convenient. Staff was friendly and greeted me immediately. Made my move very pleasant.

ANTON SPlease have more than one person checking out customers. I waited about 30 minutes to talk to someone. Last time I rented from this location, it was a Saturday, and it took over an hour to get checked out.

JUDITH SI had a car hauler reserved along with a truck. The car hauler was not available, even though I made a confirmed reservation several weeks in advance. Also, the first truck "assigned" to me was nowhere to be found. The second truck had such a dirty windshield that one could not see out. And bird poop all over the windshield.
Richard SGuys outside hooking/unhooking up trailer were great, thank you. I don't own a cell phone, my only phone is a landline at my home so having to provide a second # was a problem, my email or driver license should be sufficient. Silly to have to make up a false # .
ROBERT J"To Whom It May Concern at U-Haul, I am writing to file a formal complaint about the unacceptable behavior of an employee at your [1560 Mt Prospect Rd, Desplains, IL] location on [Spept. 29th 2025]. During my interaction regarding truck rental, the employee Christina was extremely rude, used profanity towards me, and demonstrated a profoundly unprofessional attitude. The specific incident occurred around 2:30pm~4pm. The employee said, Fxxk off, Very Rude word, Racis and her overall demeanor was hostile and disrespectful, and even try to stop other employee to rent a car for me. I was very disappointed by this experience, as I expect better from a company like U-Haul. I believe this employee's conduct violates your company's standards of customer service. ALFONSO RThis location was fine. The problem I had was, I was told I could drop off at any location, however, I was turned away at two other locations. Finally called customer support number and was on the phone for 20 minutes trying to find a location to drop off the equipment. Customer service said I had to drop off at the DesPlaines location, which was another 45 minutes from where I was at. Very frustrating experience. I was told by customer service that the information was emailed to me, but it was not.

JUDITH SI picked up the truck in Des Plaines IL, I threw out a used cookie in the seat, when returning the truck I was charged for clean the truck. I DON’T eat cookies as I am a diabetic! Also, it took me 15 mins to clean the bugs off the windshield before I could even drive it. I should not be charged for cleaning the windows or vacuuming the cookie crumbs. Ridiculous!

ROBERT WI rented your plastic tubs to move my office. Your price was much better than Rent-A-Crate, however I liked their dolly that came with the crates. It makes moving them around much easier. Consider a dolly rental as part of the crate package.

LUCIA RI was in hurry and did not checked the fuel gauge. It was too late when I noticed that it was marked as over 3/4 full but as soon I exited the lot, it was under 3/4! Then after self-returning it for about 9 miles trip, it was calculated at 17 miles total trip! Error on my part not to check it because I am running late for my pickup. I will avoid this location moving forward.

RALPH MRented trailer for 3 days brought it back a day early and still got charged for the 3 days.
JEFFREY HFirst trailer had wiring issue. Second trailer had light issue, and replacement didn't work. Third trailer (larger than requested) finally worked but had tire pressure issues, after I was assured that they always well maintained equipment. Wiring issues and tire issues throughout 1400 mile trip. Had to put 25 ibs air in two tires every 24 hrs during 4 day trip. BIG SAFETY ISSUE !! Thought "safety" was priority logo for U-Haul trailers ?? Extremely disappointed from a national brand.
ROY IMobile app is not good, if the app is closed by mistake we have to do the process all over again, and chat support is not helpful and very slow to respond

THOMAS GI don't appreciate U-HAUL changing my pick up location at the last minute, especially when I make the reservation weeks in advance - you should be able get equipment in place without forcing me to drive an hour and half out of my way for pick up. the truck I rented had almost 100,000 miles on it and the suspension is shot - the ride was extremely rough with the truck bouncing all over the place. it pulled to left on the highway suggesting an alignment issue. the roof leaked in mom's attic causing my boxes and papers to get wet be ruined. The person checking me out was distracted by her boyfriend and his friend who were at the facility working on their dirt bikes. she forgot to log in the auto transport as a part of my rental and I kept getting calls from UHAUL asking if I was going to pick up the transport after I had already taken it from the lot. disorganized.

Jeffrey AThe cashier (male) said "do you want me to pull the equipment out of my ass" when I was upset that the location did not have any dollies. This location is slow and understaffed for a weekend.
HOLLY BThis location is very convenient to all customer especially returning the equipment at night. One thing i could recommend is to put a sign to all trucks that the key lock is in the entrance of the building office.thats all ! Keep it up guys!

JOHN BWhile the location was super busy with 4 trucks waiting check in, one of the clerks immediately assisted us in getting the trailer unhooked and we were on our way. This was a much better experience than times in the past.

ANDREW PYour worker hooked up a defective trailer. The tongue lock was obviously broken and he told be I was good to go. I always check for myself and the knob came off in my hand. It would have bounced off on the way and killed someone! I lifted up on the trailer and it came off the ball! I left that trailer there and got a different one. Of course I wasted time because now I needed a new contract. This was all after they rented the trailer I originally contracted. Now I had to pay twice and he said the credit would come in a few days! I’m guessing I will never see that. Terrible!!!
