Jason S.It shouldn't take 23 minutes to get someone on the phone. U-Haul needs more staff to answer questions. Also, a staff member who did not speak English well was unable to answer important questions. Language training would improve customer relations.

Kissinguer M.I had ordered a "5' x 9' Utility Trailer With Ramp". When I arrived there, the location was not opened yet, making me wait for an hour and a half. When the manager arrived, he realized that my trailer is not available. I was forced to drive 20 miles to a different location. There, one a "6' x 12' Utility Trailer With Ramp" was available, which is too heavy for my RAV4. I lost half a day and was forced to pay rental for a full day rental in Sunbelt, because of it. On top of it, they ended up charging me for a had a 12' trailer, instead of what I had ordered, making me pay almost double of our earlier agreement. Disorganized!

Darlene J.When I called to make reservations I was told I didn't need to, Marquis the attendant said that there was no local rental. The only rental was one way. I was moving 3 miles away; but I had to drop off the truck at a destination of 14 minutes away I Reston. I was not allowed to dropped it of at the same place.

Joseph C.The app needs improvement. The online check in does not work. It says I am not at the location when I'm literally standing at the counter. This happened multiple times. Nothing to do with my phone and location settings. I've made sure all those are correct. Further, when you have to upload your license, when capturing the front it says take a picture. Fine no problem. When you upload the back it says take a scan. Confusing. Finally, when using the mobile return, it asks you to take a picture but does not allow you to access your photo gallery. I had already dropped the keys in the slot by the time it asked me for that picture but I had already taken one (and why would I have to walk all the way back to the truck anyway??). Clearly this app was developed by your IT team…. Lastly, your closing hour was 7pm and I arrived at 6:55pm as I wanted to drop off during business hours. The door was locked and the person behind the counter refused to check me out or take my keys. Thanks for listening.

THOMAS H.Pretty stupid you have $19 or $29 a day trucks then when actually getting the truck have someone at your U-Haul counter tell me 6hrs with a truck will cost $150. Talk about bait and switch. Rented truck anyways because we absolutely needed it, however you should be more transparent with the actual costs in your ridiculous advertising.

John O.I reserved online a 2-day trailer rental. When I came to pick up the trailer in the morning, I had to go through the same process as online. The person processing my rental did not seem to understand that I wanted only a 2 day rental, and in the end my reservation was priced for dropping off the trailer about 15 minutes beyond the two day rental period, increasing my bill by 50%. I had to go back in and ask her to cancel and redo the rental agreement. In the end I turned the trailer in about 15 minutes past a single day. Of course I was charged for 2 days.

jose C.Customer service was well below any expectations or even in comprehension of what's categorized publicly. I'll skip right to the end. I came into the lot. The incoming representative was outside too busy i between smoking his black and mild cigar. I asked him “Excuse sir, can I go inside and complete my check out?†He blurts… “Nah, leave the keys on the dash†I asked again “So nobody is inside? “ he says, (eyes rolling) You'll get an email†I just went to the office regardless. Nobody inside acknowledges myself or the two other clients incoming/returning. This entire place just screamed ratchet. I know for a fact this dude marked me up. I saw the end invoice. I was charged a dolly fee. I returned the van with the same gas fill as it was provided. Nevertheless, I don't run into a rant, but I do want to clearly state it's the worst experience I've ever had. Lowest scum buckets work here.

David S.The staff was rude and told me if he knew I was dropping off a trailer from another location, he wouldn't have disconnected it from the tow vehicle. Then he argued with me after I told him I previously called uhaul and the rep on the phone said I can indeed drop off the trailer at a different U-Haul center than the pick up location. Just at a charge of a fee which I agreed to.
Joel V.At least wash the trailer it was really dirty on the exterior. They need more assistance on the exterior. I detached the trailer myself because there was no one around. Another customer was asking me if I worked there. He eventually found his assigned trucked and drive away. The pick up and check out staff on the interior was excellent.

Stephen M.Don't give the customer a hard time when the customer chooses to return the truck to the same place when the original plan was to deliver it to a different U-Haul location. The clerk on duty went out of his way to show that he disapproved.
