Not require a 2 day rental on auto transport when distance is under 200 miles. The cost was a bit ridiculous.

Fastest service I have ever had from a rental company. They checked me back in so fast I didn't know what to do. Great customer service too!

I made a mistake in my reservation and tried calling to make a change in the drop off location, I nor someone from the corporate office was able to speak to someone. Also, the trailer did not come equipped with a trailer jack. The right rear tire was getting extremely hot in relation to the other three during my use. The trailer was showing it's age, but a decent unit, nonetheless.

Very frustrating that a customer is not allowed to make cash purchases, this should be outlawed

I had to go to three U-haul places before I could leave the truck. That was frustrating and time consuming.

Someone didn’t check my equipment in correctly and I was overcharged for two extra days of rental. I’ve called customer service and have sent a message but still no response.

I will never use or recommend U-Haul again. I chose locations closest to my move locations to keep the mileage low and reserved a truck a week in advance. On the day of the move I find out we had been rerouted to a U-Haul 20 miles away from our move location and not only did we then have to drive 30-40 minutes out of the way to pick the truck up, but also had no option to drop the truck off at the nearest location from our new place (which was bout 3 miles) so we had to drive the truck all the way back which resulted in about 25 miles that we were not anticipating having to deal with or pay for. It was so inconvenient and so stressful on what was already a stressful move day. We were late picking the truck up because of the fiasco and had to rush the moving to get in back on time because we had to add an extra 30-40 minute drive in to drop it off. We had no choice but to take the truck and the charges because our lease was up and we had to move that day. U-Haul screwed us out of almost $30 that we were not anticipating being added to our moving costs, cost us valuable time, and caused unnecessary and undue stress and aggravation. I think it is such a horrible business practice to inconvenience people who made clear reservations well in advance and then charge them more for the inconvenience just to make a profit off of screwing them over. I would recommend literally any other moving truck service over U-Haul and will be telling anyone I talk to about the move how U-Haul puts profit over customer service and makes it a practice to screw people over who rent trucks from them.

After I dropped off the Uhaul I realized I had left my new apartment guest parking pass in the Uhaul. I went back next day, and the guy who cleans the trucks had seen and saved it. He handed it to me less than one minute after I asked about it. He saved me a ton of effort and money to request and receive a new one. Thank you!!!

I originally scheduled to drop the trailer off in Falls Church, VA but was told I was supposed to drop it off 20 miles away in Springfield. I argued that the original plan was Falls Church. Finally someone I spoke with said yes drop it off at Falls Church with no penalty. It will definitely make me think twice about using U-Haul again.

Better direction for people returning equipment vs picking up new equipment.

Customer service counter was disorganized and short with customers. However, outside staff where truck was physically picked up were rude and unhelpful. In addition, truck had a deficiency engine light on. Got upset when deficiency was written on the contract.

I spent an hour in line to pick up the equipment. (I understand they were short-handed that morning.) I'd really appreciate a more expedited process. Automated check-in like at the airport, maybe?

Shorter wait times.

We called U-Haul to determine our pick up location. They gave us the location in Fall Church on Columbia Pike. When we got there they would not take our truck. After a 7 hour drive and 2 hours of unloading, we had to drive another 30 minutes through rush hour traffic in the city in the box truck just to return it. Once we got there there was no parking available at the West Broad street location and we had to wait 10 minutes just return our key. At this point we wanted to speak with a manager about the wrong drop off location but they just told us its not their problem and would not listen to us. We will NOT be using UHaul again.

We attempted to use the after-hours online check-in, but the website crashed over and over during the process. We called the next morning and were told we would NOT be charged for an extra day. Yet, when I received the receipt, we were overcharged anyway. I sent two emails correcting things days ago but have received no reply nor refund.

The equipment worked well. My cargo van ran well, but the digital display where the odometer should be said "oil change needed soon." Service was good, but I had to wait in line for about 45 minutes on a Sunday morning. This location could use some additional help on weekends, but the experience was otherwise good.

There was one person working on a Saturday morning in the summer. My husband went there at 7:30 am to pick up a reservation and was not helped at all for 45 mins because there were 7people there already. When he did get help he was told he needed to get an adapter for the trailer by the guy setting up the trailers and needed to wait in the (now much longer) line again to purchase the part because he doesn't work the register. When he got frustrated the woman working there started openly mocking him "oh look he's mad look he's shaking hahaha". Oh you think he's mad? Our move just got severely delayed and we're on a timeline and you're being totally unhelpful, yeah he's mad you jerk. He called me and I started calling other uhauls to see if I could buy the part elsewhere and bring it to him because we needed to get going. After I had found the part and I was going to bring it back someone else that worked in outside was like oh yeah no problem I'll add it to your order, literally just wrote his name down and set it up. Really? It was that easy and the other people just didn't. What absolute inconsiderate jerks.

The person who did the paperwork was the rudest, most vile person I've met.
