The truck was not clean, cab and cargo area, and did not drive well. Because of the high mileage the steering was very loose and I could smell oil.

Wayne Taylor was above and beyond helpful!!! He obviously knows the U-Haul system very well. He had a busy day at the falls church location and he took the time to make each customer feel important. For me he went out of his way to help me problem solve a very high quote I was getting for a truck rental. 3x higher than I have ever paid for the same route. He took the time to really understand my problem and he offered a solution that was very doable for me and was 200$ less. That experience made me feel really good about U-Haul as a company. AMAZING customer service!!!!

There were clearly marked signs pointing me to where I needed to return the truck pulling my car. I follow up to the final left turn and as I start the turn I heard a worker yelling at me to stop. He wanted me to go strait ahead instead. I'm not sure why it mattered. I could have unloaded my car just fine anyways. This was unneeded confusion.


This location runs like clockwork, all clean and well maintained, a perfect location with courteous and professional staff. 5 stars

The rental was not ready for pick-up at the time we had reserved it for. However, the employee that morning was preparing one for us quickly.


We waited at least 30 minutes for our vehicle with no explanation. Not great customer service.


This was my first time renting a Truck and it was super easy. Truck was very clean and was perfect for what I needed it for. Getting it and return was fast. Will definitely use again.

Customer service was terrible. First time renting at this location and last time. We received an email 20 minutes prior to pick up that our reservation was moved 3 hours later than the time we requested and the person at the office was not friendly at all.

I ordered 12 blankets but they were only able to provide 6. Maybe not a big deal, but for a rental about a month ago at another location, they also did not have supplies (Packing tape) that I ordered in advance. It should not be hard to keep sufficient supplies on hand at rental locations to fulfill advance orders!

When returning van, no one was outside. I went inside and an employee said to put keys in van. I did, but locked the key in the van. After finding out about the locked van, the employee said I had to call roadside asst. because they don't have a second key. When I asked if they were gonna charge me he said probably. When I said that he told me to put the key in the van, his response was "I didn't tell you to lock it." I replied, "But you didn't tell me not too." He said that because they can't get into the van, it's considered not returned (even though it was parked on their property). Another employee said I HAD to call the roadside asst. even though I have AAA. After calling roadside asst. they advised that I had to call someone else because they wouldn't unlock the van due to it being on U-Haul property. I had to call AAA and they unlocked it. When I asked for the manager, the employee gave me his business card, which had his office number and extension. When I called the number, it went to the main line without the option of dailing an extension. His cell phone number was listed on the card. I called that and it went directly to voicemail.

The customer service was not great. They weren't rude but they weren't friendly either. No smiling no warm welcome. Regretted renting from this location as soon as I was assisted. The passenger door was not well maintained they told me to close it really hard for it to stay closed.

Gas tank was nearly empty. Frustrating to take possession and have to immediately get gas. Checkin in mobile was faster than my prior years experience but information was collected twice - at reservation and at pickup. Info like credit card and DL.


The gas tank was almost empty but the contract stated it had 1/4 tank. Only needed the truck for 24 hours, should not be charged for 2 days. A little expensive.
