trailer was very "experienced" beat up / banged up but worked flawlessly. Disappointing some of the tie down rings were missing. Long time to get trailer out of the yard due to backup of other units and poor logistics / layout for access. Patrica did an exceptional job of getting me set up. Kudos to Patrica. I was surprised today when I received a phone call to question whether I had returned the trailer. I should have received an acknowledgement when it was returned but was told I do not need to have one. It was to be emailed but I did not receive it until after the phone call. Poor management follow up on the return.

There were not enough people working or space for all returns when I picked up trailer. I was blocked by returning customers and had to wait an extremely long period of time to get trailer after getting paperwork. But, the folks were great there, that is why I rated the experience higher than I should have. Never pick up at 6:30 on a Saturday!

There’s no where to park a car, so one can’t come alone, otherwise how can we rent a truck and my car. Service guy that brings the truck is rude.

We would have preferred to rent a trailer but none were available, and no confirmation when requested as to when we could rent or reserve one for use in the future. We had to rent a truck at greater expense because no trailers were available. We did make use of the extra space so all went well. Reservation staff and counter personnel were very pleasant and helpful

I was sent to 5654 Columbus pike via email as my drop off point, only to be told upon arrival I had to go somewhere else. I am very unhappy that your system cannot figure out that one location does not accent one way rentals. This is unacceptable. Figure out which locations accept what and update your system. No reason why have to drive all over Virginia to only be told they cannot help me. I will go to another rental place next time to rent my vehicle. Fix that and your stupid text message sending me halfway across town to pick up a truck that was less than 2 miles from my house. Abco saved the day for uhaul. They were great.

There is no on-site customer parking if you are driving to pick up a van/truck to use for the day, the only suggestion made by the staff, who clearly didn't care, was to park across the street where 'you could be towed' or take it with us. As only one of us can drive this was not an option. We decided to drive our car to the metro and park it there and lyft or walk back.

The U-Haul of Falls Church was the 2nd place I stopped at to drop off the rental trailer. The first one was closed and a car dealer located near the Dominion Body Shop said I could not drop off the trailer because the body shop was closed. U-Haul needs to educate the customers that 24 hour drop is not correct for all dealers. Alternate locations should be included on the rental agreement.

The move that we needed the truck for was going to be delayed. I called the uhaul where i rented the truck from to extend the reservation, and also to ask if I can leave the truck on site for a couple of days with my equipment in it. I was still going to pay for the truck just to sit there. The lady I spoke to said it was fine. This was important to me, because I also asked the lady I spoke to if it would be ok, that since the truck was going to be on-site, if I left them the keys so that someone who works in the area could pick it up to unload the truck and return the truck so we wouldn't have to pay extra days for a van we were not using. Like I said I spoke to a lady on the phone who said all of that would be no problem. When I went back to UHAUL to return the truck I was told that I cant leave the truck there. That it was against policy to have a truck on site that i still being rented. I told them I already spoke to someone on the phone and she said it was ok, He told me that it is against his store policy, when I asked why was I told I can he told me that after three rings it goes to a call center in Arizona, they don't know their policy. I was told that I have to leave the truck in street parking. I said so you would rather have your truck sit out on the street than safe in your lot he said yes because it is store policy. I then went to leave the keys at the desk and said someone from my company will be here Monday to get the keys to the truck to unload it and bring it back. He said they cant do that. I again said i was told that if i left the keys someone else could drive the truck unload it and drop it off. he said they don't do that, and used the call center not knowing it was their policy and that the call center person probably just wanted to get me off the phone and just said yes to everything. so because of not being able to leave the truck and keys on site for someone else to pick up and unload, like i was told i could do, i had to pay an extra 3 days for a truck just sitting on street parking. i live almost 2 hours away and had my own car that day, and could not get back up to the falls church site. i had to spend time out of my business to drive and get the truck to where it had to go, which i should not have had to do because i was told i could leave the truck and keys from a lady on the phone and what the store told me was completely different even as i am typing this, i am trying to get a receipt from a lock i purchased, and have been passed to four different people, and each department saying they don't do that. i even got a 1800 269 6737 number from someone who said he cant help and that number i called said they cant help, transferred me to another number and that number was having technical issues and hung up on me

Drop off was very easy and convenient. Excellent for dropoff. Pick-up was a little chaotic because the office was very busy and there was only one person handling all the customers. They did a good job juggling the busy situation but it added wait time for everyone. Overall would use UHaul and recommend this location.
