truck had a faulty transmission, bad windsheid wipers and a dirty front window, and a seat that you could not adjust forward, The mats on the floorboard or greasy causing my foot to slip off the pedal many times, the radio did not work in the truck, So we could not check on the weather report and it was a blustery day, The truck had over 120,000 miles. The general manager told me the only way they know a truck is bad as if the last person that used it tells them! So obviously no routine maintenance! we were scared that we wouldn't make it to our destination because the transmission was slipping so poorly. We paid way too much for this rental considering everything that was wrong with this truck.Kimberly K.

I found the whole rental experience to be so easy and pleasant. Uhaul made it so simple. The booking online was one of the easiest processes; the changing of the reservation was a piece of cake; They called the day before to find you the closest available truck (including giving you extra miles); the pickup was quick and efficient, the drop off was simple. I wish I hired them to pack and unpack the truck too! Great job!EVELIO R.

The gentleman who helped us get the trailer was professional efficient and kind. He was also the same person who helped us unhitch the trailer. He had been standing out in the rain for some time dealing with other rental equipment and was still so pleasant when he helped us. We love renting things from this location.DONNAALBRIGHT B.
There needs to be more counter help. The truck wasn't well maintained and there was almost no gas when I drove off. I put $35 dollars in the tank and was not compensated when the truck was returned.SHARONSTERNOFF B.
For both the pickup and drop off you had one guy working at a busy location, trying to handle both the desk and the truck lot. While both of the guys (different guy morning vs. afternoon) were doing a great job, it's ridiculous to have only one employee. One result is I did not get the additional items (moving blankets, dolly) that I ordered and wasn't going to stand in line so the one poor guy would have to deal with it.James C.

The front desk check-in person, Bill, was excellent. He handled a lot of person very well and efficiently. The only negative comment would be that the gasoline tank wasn't filled. Everything was perfect, EXCEPT the personel on the counter. The guy was very rude, lazy and did not explain in detail what I was renting. He was hitting the plastic screen while talking and yelling as if we can't hear. When I asked for his name, he just stayed quite. We had to pick up the truck from a location that we did not sign up for, so we were disappointed not to be able to pick up in our neighborhood but had to drive much farther.Nagavalli S.
I was informed at the counter during the rental process that the fuel tank was full and that I should return it the same way. When I drove off the lot, the fuel tank was at 7/8. I drove just 30 miles and filled it up before returning it. Nearly 7 gallons and $25 later I was told there was nothing that could be done to remedy the situation. Buyer beware. Uhaul corp needs to get their ducks in a row. They double booked a reservation and are making their employees' lives a living hell. Upper management needs to crack down on "computer issues" and lazy intermediate managers. The employees tried their hardest to make things right. The locations in northern Virginia are super busy, but non-store management makes it worse when reservations get double book, want customers to take vehicles back from a 50 min destination. Locations thought of customers first, corporate thought about them first, and its showing at almost every location I have used in recent years.EVAN S.

I did not get the extra equipment I ordered and paid for. I had a dolly, and blankets ordered. The online check out gave me no special instructions on extra action I needed to take to ensure these were received, so I assumed they were in the truck as they had been in the past.
