We were told we were receiving the rental with a 1/4 tank of gas. It was actually on E and we had to stop and fill it right away. We returned the rental with over 3/4 of a tank of gas. We went over mileage by 10, equal of$4.00. The gas should have been considered and the $4.00 waived since Uhaul broke the contract by giving us a rental with less than 1/4 tank of gas. That would have been good business practice.
Hard to get through on local phone line. Went through online chat to extend our reservation one day. Guys met me in parking lot, disconnected me and I was on my way. Very happy with everything.

Cleaner bed of the trailer. Had to much slat on it
One employee there when I showed up and he was hustling his tail off. When it was my turn, he got me processed and out of there quickly.
Trailer was attached by the attendant but fell off the hitch within about 100 feet of driving. Luckily no damage.

Was charged outstanding amount for 1 mile over
my truck was broken in the U-Haul website was down for hours I was unable to trade my truck in. I ended up sending the contract early the next morning. Person at the Uhaul told me that they had a rash of break-ins and Damage Done to their truck yet they still rented trucks knowing this
Check the wiring to make sure that they are completely covered with no cuts in the casing.

Mileage is outrageously expensive. Employees were nice. Back of can was a little dirty at pick up. overall good experience except the price was ridiculous for the time and mileage used.

I was told the vehicle I requested would be ready at 4:30pm...it was. Tank was full truck was clean and I was on the road in minutes. Professional and courteous!!

The representative at the check in counter did a fantastic job. He was helpful, informative and efficient. I wish I would have gotten his name so I could recognize him personally instead of just the UHaul location.
For my Reservation #27531665, I ended up going to the Forest Park WI location after the Piggly Wiggly U-Haul (Jimmy) agent in Zion Il 60096 treated me horribly. Jimmy was unprofessional, arrogant and unaware of his current inventory. This was a very busy time (Saturday afternoon) and Jimmy had many customers renting equipment. When checking in, Jimmy at Piggly Wiggly informed me that he did not have my trailer available for my reservation #27531665 that I had just made three hours prior online. He said he could upgrade me to a dual axle car hauler trailer which was not an acceptable option and I asked him to rent me a small box van, which he had 6 currently available and asked to work with me on a price. At this point Jimmy arrogantly tells me-“That's not how it worksâ€. Jimmy had also told me that the trailer that I rented was late coming back from the previous renter and he had placed numerous calls asking for it to be brought back. I did not believe he was being truthful with me at this point and decided to contact U-Haul customer service via the phone and had pleasant conversations with two different agents regarding this situation. I was told I could pick up the same trailer I originally rented from the Forest Park location as an option. When leaving the Piggly Wiggly location heading to Forest Park U-haul, I noticed Jimmy now outside on his cell phone, perched on the identical trailer I rented that he said was not in his inventory. I drove over to him and asked for an apology for telling me that the trailer was not on his lot. I was told by Jimmy-“That's not going to happenâ€. At this point he walked right back into the store and waiting patiently in line again to talk to him, I was told â€We're done todayâ€. This person should not be a representative of U-Haul and I have never been treated like this at other U-Haul locations.

The vehicle was okay in decent shape charging for everything (like use of the dolly $7.00) was excessive and 19cents a mile was excessive. On of Your techs asked why i didn't rent a vehicle from Waukegan Illinois, where I live, and I replied .19cents a mile moving a family member from Mt Pleasant Wisc. to Madison Wisc. I need to add 60 extra miles to an already excessive tab. Apparently he didn't understand the concept of saving money as his comment was "Whatever" The online by phone turn in was not as easy to accomplish as I had to add location services to my phone to accomplish what a photograph would do and I almost didn't make the 8pm turn in time i set up.
The truck I was given was old, the transmission was slipping, there were no emergency blinkers and the passenger side mirrors could not be adjusted adequately.
I walk into the store at 9:05 on Aug.1,the young guy behind the counter said what do you need and then asked do you have a mask!!!!!! I said sorry will get one! Not having a mask on was my fault, but being asked what do you need!!! How hard is it to say good morning or how can I help you!!!!
WINDOWS. WINDOWS. WINDOWS. Vehicles always awesome and staff is outstanding. Only complaint I ever had, from either location is windows on the inside are horrible. Usually have to clean myself before leaving for my trips.
