The truck clearly needed to be serviced, the check engine light was on at the time I rented, and the truck was very sluggish. The staff was awesome and very nice, they made the experience easy to deal withTAMI H.

When I picked up my truck from Highland, the staff were polite, and very helpful. However, I dropped the truck off the night before it was due back. I parked in the delivery lane, and placed the Keys in the drop box. I received two phone calls the next morning. One asking me if I had still planned to drop the truck off. I said, I already dropped it off the night before in the delivery lane, and placed the keys in the box. I then received another call minutes later asking which location I took the truck to. Like I didn't know where I returning the truck. So I told them again where I parked the truck, and he said oh ok. I feel like they never looked for the truck in the first place. They know people drop trucks off early, and if they had looked they would've saw it.ASHLEY F.

I wouldn't recommend this location because I took the truck for a total of 3hrs and only 17miles maybe 2 gallons of gas and the next day i was charged for 2days and they tried to tell me i drove the truck for 200MILES!!!!! Which I told them was impossible especially when my location was tracked the whole time!!Jerry G.

This location is not the U-Haul is is U-Haul Corporate. Three times this year I ordered a trailer to be picked up in Cockeysville MD. This last time I personally went to the Cockeysville location. explained my pick up experience in the pase and again orderd a 5 x 8 closed trailer for pick up in four weeks. Again I had to drive more than 30 minutes to pick up the trailer. The other two pick ups required a 35 minute drive each way and a 59 minute drive each way. Each time when explained my dissatisfaction with having to drive so far when my requested pick up location was only 5 minutes away from my home U-Haul responded with a phrase like " we do the best we can". Additionally, they did not even tell me until the day before where I needed to go to pick up my trailer. Come on U-Haul, where is concern and/or respect for your customers? It is a good thing for you that you have almost no competition.Edgar S.

There were no wrapping blankets. I don't see that I was not charged for them. My bill seemed higher than expected. That location has aLOT of trucks. They told me they didn't have any of the larger sizes ones when I tried to upgrade but I saw some there. That was strange.CHERYL B.

My brother in law picked up the trailer, there was a lot of issues finding the reservation and it took quite a while. He also dropped it off and spoke with someone but received no help and they did not record him bringing it back because I received a phone call asking if it was coming back when it was already there. Your advertising of 15,000 locations is misleading. Being able to select a location that does NOT offer the equipment selected is absurd. Made reservations online for van at 130pm...told by clerk vehicle would not be available until 215 230 at the earliest. Csme back 215...no van available because Customer didn't return as promised. Had to get a box truck and ended up paying more than I would have had the van been ready. I should have been charged the amount previously stated for the van. There was an error in my billing, the gentleman could not figure out how to correct the billing and it took 1 hour for me to check out with my trailer when it should have taken 15 minutes. During that time it began to downpour when I should have been hitched up while it was dry outside. Lastly, someone left the trailer open and the entire inside was wet.KAREN N.

Appointment was changed from 9am to 1:30pm without notice. Upon arrival nobody knew why or who had changed the appointment. Spoke with someone on the phone while at the location and was advised id receive $50 off my final bill, but that was not the case. Don't give out a vehicle with the check engine light on, and stop saying its just the gas cap. The van cut off on me at a red light, and would feel like it was jerking at every other stop. I paid for 2 things of furniture pads and was not given any, had to use the bag that was sealed.BENJAMIN W.

I rented (2) 17' trucks from them this week. 1st one the rear suspension gave out on i495 and had to be towed and the 2nd I rented today a belt snapped and caused the engine to overhear, lost ability to break, and had no power steering. Dirty and beat up, over 160k on the truck. The representative was given hard time about scanning the driver licensen. After i fill up the truck with gas they charges me 9.95 cause the guy said ibuse some app about it. When we arrived to pick up the rental, there were three employees behind the counter loudly complaining about a customer who had the nerve to come in the store shortly before closing. The employees were discussing how they should have tossed the customer out even though it was before the posted closing time. They had no problem having this derogatory conversation in front of another customer even after I commented that it was inappropriate. And, the pickup truck reeked of cigarette smoke.Anna G.
