Horrible experience, the worst nightmare of any mover. I requested a truck a month in advanced, payed my dues and was told I had 24/7 check in access with a pick up time 8:30am. I arrived at the time I requested my U-Haul and then I had trouble with check in. Then after 45 minutes later I finally got my code to get my key, and the key wasn't even there! By this time it was 9:15am and I clearly saw someone inside the office! And he basically pointed at the â€œopening hoursâ€ that said 9:30am. I called the office and the representative was trying to reach the branch manager and he was ignoring the calls in front of me! After an hour of waiting, and being treated horrible he finally came out and his excuse was â€œsorry the night crew forgotâ€. He was there at 9:00am and he ignored me and also ignored every call. That is not someone you need to have representing your business, horrible customer service! I really wish he was in my shoes at the time and saw how he treated me. He made me wait an hour extra and his excuse was â€œmy bad don't know what the night person didâ€ while he arrived at 9am and told me to wait until he opened at 9:30am. The thing you can do for the next customer is ensure that they work with Cathleen, because she exhibited fantastic customer service in my interaction with her. Cathleen was clear, concise and efficient. First of all, she called us when we were late to our reservation to make sure we rescheduled and weren't automatically canceled, very helpful. She made sure that throughout the pickup process, we were both doing what we should be to move things along. She gave tips on using the uhaul vehicles, and her recommendations for operation. She answered any questions I had clearly and concisely with an appropriate level of depth. She also greeted us when we returned later in the day, and was excited to hear how our move went. I was impressed she remembered us from the many rentals she must have seen today. My overall experience with uhaul today was excellent. Thank you!Lochie F.

Set my pickup location 5 minutes from my move out location, was forced to pickup 4 towns over instead. Drop off location was supposed to be 3 minutes from my destination, was told halfway through my rental I had to return the equipment a town and half over instead. Spent half an hour on the phone getting routed in circles with no result to show for it.Cody A.

They brought me out a 20' with Both front tires were just about bald with no tread. It is dangerous to drive on bald tires, especially on a rainy day, which it was. UHaul needs to seriously step it up to maintain there equipment and safety measures. They not only need to care about their equipment but also their customers safety!Nancy N.
U Haul needs to make sure they have enough fuel in all of its rental trucks before issuing it to customers so that the customer does not have to go to the gas station immediately after taking possession of the rental truck. I rented the U Haul Ford Transit Van and I loved driving it. It was fun and pleasant driving it. Loved every minute of it. Great Van.
