When I arrived at the location, there was only one person ahead of me. I had reserved a 8 x 6 enclosed trailer, so all the paperwork was completed. I had to give my credit card, then pulled my truck around the back, where the employee met me. She showed me that the back of the trailer was cleaned, she hooked up the trailer to my truck, then I was finished. The entire time took approximately 15 mins. or less. The employee was very helpful, courteous and friendly. I had a very pleasant experience. I would use this location again and would recommend it.

office personnel were not very friendly nor professional. there was an older white man when I picked up the vehicle that seemed bothered with any questions. I had a dolly on my order and when I asked for it he seemed upset. when I returned the truck a young Filipino man was staring at me but would would not talk . he asked for my key to give to another client, but would not offer to check me in, until I asked him. never said hello, nor did he inquired about the truck. these people need customer service training. they need to tone their attitude down and be more friendly.

The mileage I was charged for this rental was INCORRECT. I took the van out with 6716 miles showing and returned it at 6749 miles (33 miles total) yet the billing shows I was charged for 39 miles (6714 OUT 6753 IN) which is absolutely incorrect. I must insist that the mileage amount charged be corrected in your records and credit my account for the difference. I have been using your UHAUL often lately, and I have never had an incorrect billing - until this time. I trust it was an honest mistake - but fix it. Otherwise, I am very happy with your products and services at the UHAUL on Jackson . Maureen Brosnan

sweep truck out before giving to customer; don't keep changing pickup location, time-I had to call several times to keep location, time, truck size. Your reps were friendly, courteous, helpful when I picked up truck.

Your staff need lessons on customer service they don't look at people they talk to and the guy that waited on me initially pissed me off telling me to take my driver's license out of my wallet. I replied, "OK sir, to let him know I was totally irritated by his arrogance and I don't know if it was because I was a black woman in dreds of what but didn't appreciate his attitude at all. Then, he tells me that my credit card was declined. I told him that there was just a issue of funds needing to be transferred from one checking account to the one our debit card was linked to. Although he did allow me to use the phone to call our bank to transfer the funds, the staff around him had frowns on their faces and they were looking like.... "hmmm." The bank stayed on the phone after transfering $700 from our operations checking account (we are a nonprofit) and they stayed on the phone to make sure the charge went through okay on our debit card. After everything went through one of the other staff made some comment like "oh it went through?" i've never seen such a unprofessional and lack of courtesy towards clients. I don't know if it was cultural thing or what but I found them rude and not very caring. When I made the reservation, I requested a hand truck. My nephews donated their time to help our nonprofit move items from our Berkeley outpatient clinic to our Sacramento site. They needed a handtruck. No one told me over the phone that the hand trucks were first come first serve. When we got there to reserve the truck there were no hand trucks. How do you make a reservation for a hand truck and then get told they are given out first come first serve.? That makes absolutely no sense and we started to cancel the entire reservation. The fortunate thing for Uhaul, however, was the people who assisted my on Friday... two women... were EXCEPTIONALLY helpful. My only complaint was that they did not tell me that the reserved hand truck I requested could be given away -- "first come, first serve" as I was told by the RUDE Saturday staff. That Saturday crew needs some serious customer service training and policies around equipment reservations need to be clarified.
