Waited for several minutes waiting for attendant to check in, as stated on singage- finally went inside and told to back up to park trailer, waited for inspection for several more minutes to then be told it's fine? Glad I didn't purchase extra it obviously didn't matter to attendant receiving drop off. Place was a joke-

After I picked up the van I rented I looked at my bank statement and I was charged a total of five times. When I brought this to the attention of the clerk in the office when I dropped off the vehicle the response I got did not ease how I felt. I simply was told "Well, you will just have to check with your bank tomorrow (this was on a Sunday). She told I wasn't charged but I was not reassured. But - come Monday I, in fact, was charged only once. The outcome was correct but the ambiguous response I received left me with one sleepless night.

I reserved a van for this morning at the Castro valley center to pick up at 10am. They called me around 9:56am to tell me the van was not there and that I had to go to another place. I had to drive 15minutes further away and my wait time was almost 40minutes. I believe there is a $50 guarantee if reservation is not there. I should be credited with this as well. BTW the van smelled of extreme marijuana and the can was very dirty both inside and outside. It was not a great experience.

you need to update your website so that the vehicles are at the location where the customer requests them to be when the customer requests them to be there through your site



Explain how it works better and if u make a mistake own it cause there was Alot if that at this location meaning ur employees

When I was there customers front me was complain the get charge gas and mileage more what he use . And other customer call was complain the mileage was not accurate . Then I request truck when I give the the truck was park behind the customers cars when I try to check the the truck for damage and mileage I couldn't because I push to move the truck from parking lot because blocking the customers cars . I did move it and park on the other side and I told one of the employee the mileage not accurate he said he can't change it put he will sign my receipt with accurate mileage. Something different in this location They do bad customer service and they look you can't trust them with mileage and gas you must check it . I will never go back there again .

They get really busy weekends. The time it takes for them to inspect a vehicle takes time away from them to the customer. If this was streamlined it could cut checkout time even more.

First off I had to drive 9 miles same morning after my U-Haul wasn't ready up the street from my house that I reserved. I was told I'd get a call back to a new location never did I called customer service they told me to Go Hayward I waited an extremely long line my helpers had to leave by the time I got the truck they charged me for a dolly that they did put in the truck there's no ramp unless you ask for one I was left outside with the few trucks that have keys inside I was never told which truck was mine so another lady and I need were trying to figure out which was which on our own with no one around to help customer service was horrible this is the worst experience I've ever had to get a U-Haul top of all that I only had the truck for few hours as I'm putting Gas to return the truck there's gas all over the cement at the gas station for the simple fact that someone cut the gas line so the whole time it was leaking gas as I drove it with my son in the car! After speaking to the two receptionists one told me" obviously we don't check every vehicle before you drive it" nobody just cares I said oh ok so just rent out in safe trucks? I have called to speak to someone regarding the extra miles I had to drive at $1.29 a mile! and all the issues I had throughout the experience the manager Chris called me three days later! telling me that he heard what happened and took off the $7.00 charge for the non-dolly and is Still charging $88 charge on my credit card in which he had no remorse speak really fast on my voicemail I called him back at 12 noon and still have not received a call back from hearing the corporate office I don't want to complain but this is absolutely ridiculous it's not about the money definitely about the disrespect! I do not I repeat do not recommend you renting from this ghetto U-Haul location!

I feel that U Haul falsely advertises their prices. I rented a truck that said $29.99, plus a dolly for less than $10 and some furniture pads for $10. When all was said and done (admittedly, we did not refuel so we expected a charge for that) the total was nearly $150! We were not expecting to spend anywhere near that. Be more up front about your prices and all hidden fees!

When a truck is reserved and customer has confirmation # than I feel those people should be able to go first instead I had to wait in line for over 1/2 hr for my rental. I brought it back 3 1/2 hrs early but that wasn't the point. Just how I feel and my opinion

Be sure to call customer that original pick up location has been changed. Good thing I followed up with my reservations a day prior to pick up as I never received a call from Uhaul that my pick up location has been changed.



Upgrade the computers. I waited a very long time for the paperwork to complete because there were issues with the system.

The truck was so dirty both inside and outside. It looks like it wasn't clean before they handed us the keys. I have to bring air freshener to lessen the smell while driving it. Floor mats were dirty, tires and other parts of the truck were full of mud. My experience renting from this location was very bad and I wouldn't recommend it.

The tie downs inside the trailer are terrible. There are only two tie down rings in the front of the trailer, and the tie down rails on the side are too small for any decent size rope to fit through. I used this trailer to move a piano and there was no safe way to tie down the piano. This is a very poorly designed trailer and I would never use it again to move a piano.
