Agent who helped me with the rental was extremely helpful, however, I gave a lower rating as the truck I was assigned to did not have a lock. I didn't want to, but had to purchase a lock on site.

First, I had this booking for weeks at your San Ramon location (2 miles from my home), only to find out 48 hours before pick up I had to drive to Hayward (a 14 mile trip) to get my truck--not a great start. When I pick up truck, the paperwork shows 1/4 tank, and only once I asked the agent why the paperwork shows 1/4 tank but there is only 1/8 of a tank or 30 miles range. This is not convenient so I have to drive 14 miles out of my way, which by the way is probably 1-2 gallons of gas, and have to arrange to stop for gas on way to San Ramon for fear of running out of gas--this is stress that was not necessary.

MITCHEL SI placed a reservation over a month ago, and reserved a hand truck, blankets and furniture dolly. The U Haul only had thr furniture dollies
Melissa YI had to return the truck by 3:30pm but I called at 12pm to see if I can extend the drop off time til 6pm. They informed I can do that without a charge but unfortunately that was not the case where dropping off I was told they charged for another day. I am every disappointed for the charge, felt deceived. I should of kept the truck for the whole day if that was the case. Smh

AUSTIN EWe made a reservation on line we we went to pick up vehicle we were told the reservation was for a different location so we could not rent anything. The next day we came back to same location and rented a vehicle we told the person we have our own insurance we did not need insurance from U Haul , however when we received our final bill we noticed that we were charged for insurance very disappointed . This makes us extremely uncomfortable and confused as to why we were charged for insurance when we specifically stated we have our own insurance

He asked if we wanted furniture pads my husband said yes we paid for them online he instantly became argumentative. I went to send receipt to my husband he says I'm not arguing early morning we don't have any anyways. He had an attitude all for nothing when he could've just said that to begin with. I'm not sure if this man needs training a day off or whatever but this is not ok

MICHELLE PClean and check your trucks before letting others take the vehicle. There was urine in the truck and smelled really bad. Such a waste of a rental, wasn’t able to use the truck to the fullest.

Helen MThe day of my rental it changed from picking up the truck and dolly from one location at 10AM to having to pick up the truck in one location at 10AM and then having to drive 20 minutes away for another 10AM pick up I was late for. Thankfully they were ok with me being late but whats the point of making a reservation if you change it on me the day of. I scheduled this around a month ago before. While the person that helped me in Hayward was nice I had to us tools to take the strap off another dolly to add it to the one that was rented to me. Why am I working on your equipment before I even leave with it? The drop was easy and I really appreciated the service I got from the woman at the Hayward location. For my next move for sure going to look for other options before reaching out to you guys again.

ERIK YCustomer service was not helpful, the truck was dirty. There's coffee stains in the cup holders, the windows were dirty and from the inside. I would not send anyone to this location on Jackson Street in Hayward CA.
