Location is ok if you live near Hayward ca. unfortunately it took extra time to pick up the trailer. Actual cost vs estimate are very far apart. Please fix your application

FRANCISCO RLoooooong wait time. Had it not been for the professionalism of one of the only 2 people working there the wait would have been even longer. Also, I reserved online and was asked to upload pics of my ID to save time at the counter. But I had to do it at the counter anyway!?!??

CALEB RNothing.... I always have a pleasant experience at this location. The one thing I would like to see is a roll up door 5x8 enclosed trailer that I use every week, the ramp kind is harder for me to use. The Manager Christian does a excellent job at customer service.

GARY BEvery time I rent a 26' truck the alignment is off to the right. They'll your alignment guy to use the other hand. Big guy that opens the store looks worn out every morning. Poor guy needs some stronger coffee. Seems like a cool dude but just give him some coffee and wake him up. I rent pretty frequently and will return, but it would be nice if you guys can fix a few things to bring the store up. Always been clean for the most part, employees look tired though.

KOLO WManage stock outs for onsite reservation. I did not find 10 ft van, had to go with the next best option at added cost. In such situations I should have been given a free upgrade by charging me for what I originally came for.

NATASHA PI reserved a 9' van and a furniture dolly. When I arrived, they did not have the van but gave me a 10' truck at the same price. The truck had less than a 1/4 tank of gas when I picked it up. They did not have the furniture dolly which totally messed up our plans. We were not able to complete our planned move and basically wasted the money on the truck rental. Why not inform customers who reserve online that they equipment they wanted was unavailable.

TAMILLA NI rented a trailer from the UHAUL located on Jackson st in Hayward, CA @ 5pm Tuesday for 2 days and I dropped it off on Thursday 15-20 minutes before 5pm. The person working there unhooked The trailer before it hit 5pm and told me I'm good to go. I drove off before it hit 5pm. They emailed me the receipt later that day and charged me for an extra day. The receipt shows it was processed at 5:22pm. Smh. Something fishy about this UHAUL location.

INDIA CThe site experience was the usual for me and I rent a truck there three times a year for several years now for a charitable organization. The cost is the lowest of the several firms I looked at and remains so. My main issue is the condition of the 15 foot trucks and this last one was typical. Odometer around 150,000 miles, loud engine, vague steering, and little power, so much so that it wouldn't get up to freeway speed, even empty, for the initial three mile distance that is the beginning of my usual route. I would also prefer a 17 foot truck as a 15 footer is marginal for a typical load and a 20 footer is too large to fit comfortably in the unloading location.
