I was called when my reservation was 20 minutes late telling me to get back ASAP or I would be charged. I got back ASAP and didn't get gas because of that. Funny enough the service worker told me that as long as I deliver same-day its fine and that I didn't need to rush. I got charged a premium for gas. Great stuff.

The employees were rude and left us standing around waiting at every stage of the rental. I stood around inside ignored when I arrived. When we got back a lady ran up and told us to just wait till they pulled a truck up and then she disappeared. We waited nothing happened. After awhile I found a guy and said I can't find the lady I have to go. He acted like I spit in his face and went thru the process of his job like a I was a child. I honestly wanted to toss the keys to him and walk off but I didn't want to make a scene so I let him run his mouth. If you're understaffed bc of Covid I get that. And the lady did seem to be busy when I arrived. Everything but the guy I would've shrugged off bc of the how things are right now with the virus. But that guy who checked the truck back in likes to run his mouth like he knows he's not gonna get in a fight. I didn't like that at all. There are a lot of people desperately needing a job rn and if he doesn't like his job he should quit.

The one thing is that I requested a cargo van and they had lost the key to the van that I was assigned to. I needed the van for a very specific clearance issue. I had to take a bigger truck and it really put me behind schedule. Put other than that it was great.

Checked in online yet I had to wait a long time. The truck seem very old and rickety. I brought that back that night after being exhausted. Put all the data in and it seem to have disappeared I expected it went in as I collected every ounce of data it asked me. I left got back on the phone waited about an hour till somebody answered they promised me I would not be charged money because I never did get a confirmation that my online submission went through I was still charged. The worst customer service almost like the DMV. The move that they should've been the most stressful thing but the truck with the most stressful thing. Got it back on time to ensure I would not get charged a fee try to use the app and it failed me and I still get charged. Two hours on the phone dealing with them. I'm personally in customer service and when I see great customer service I praise it. This was horrible

First of all I had requested a 26' truck and they did not have one. No one called or emailed me about that. Additionally would not let me drop off the truck at another location. Had to rent two trucks and ended up paying double what was originally reserved.

The wait for a pickup was excessive. The staff moving the trucks were not helpful at all. The only person that was the lady inside working all by herself. The place was understaffed. Hope this gets fixed soon n

I have a reservation waited in line and when the customer service representative was done with his customer he left the room to go on break. Myself and another girl stood there for over 15 minutes waiting for someone to enter the room. Look at your camera you'll see. When I was given the vehicle they apologize that it was not clean. I was there several times the weekend that I rented and the lines and wait time were unbearable. One of the employees even said the manager doesn't schedule enough people for the busy times. I won't be back that's for sure.

Everyone that assisted me was courteous and professional. Gentleman with the long dreads (forgot his name -sorry) was awesome, great customer service and great attitude. Moving sucks, but this part of getting and returning the U-Haul went smooth. Thanks again guys!

I got charged $20 service for not returning proper after hours . Details were a bit confusing. I don't think $20 can validate something that probably took less then 5mins to finish on Uhaul.

I forget his name, but there's an African-American man with dreads who works at the Hollywood Uhaul who is an absolute legend. This is my third time using the Hollywood location and he's helped me out every single time. He's extremely kind, super communicative and friendly, and always helps me out with anything I need. I forgot to ask for his name, but I'm sure the staff know who I'm talking about. I keep going back for him and I'll continue to do so!

The cab of the truck that I rented smelled like cigarette smoke, but it didn't bother me if I kept the windows rolled down. Aside from that, everything else was fine. Staff was courteous/friendly and I was impressed with the ability to check in and return equipment with my phone.

My original reservation was to pick it up at 748 Vine St. at 12:30PM Oct. 23. They did not have the truck and then told me to wait 10-15 minutes as he was talking with his family on the phone. After calling two 800 numbers and spending another 25 minutes I was told to go to 4550 location. I was an HOUR late with my move which put me heavily into Fri afternoon/evening traffic. I would like a partial refund for you guys NOT having the van at my original location. I can forward you any info that states my reservation WAS for the 748 Vine Street location.

Wasn't able to Mobile check in the Uhaul properly and was charged a full extra day even though I only had the Uhaul for a few hours. It was a significant amount of money charged to my account, and it is very frustrating. In the few times I've been to this location, Most employees were pleasant to work with, but one was rude. Unfortunately I did not get a name.

I order from a location near my house and it was confirmed. I received a call two days prior that you didn't not have it. I have to drive further away from my house to retrieve van. Other customers in the office had the same problem.

Truck was filthy, cab was dirty. I know it wasn't cleaned as they last guy left change and a pack of cigarettes in it. Bugs so thick on windows had trouble seeing out of it. The topper is there is a $25.00 cleaning charge on my bill, you can't be serious. I'm a long time customer of U -Haul and I sincerely hope that charge gets removed. No safety check before I left so not sure if lights worked. I have $94.00 in purchases on the bill but with no breakdown of charges have no idea what that's for. I really hope someone reviews as I would hate to think this is the way your company is operated now.

The equipment person dropped a furniture card on my toes and it really was painful. He was more worried about me folding the blankets then my safety. No one asked me to fill out an accident report. I will never come to this place again.

It was a very convoluted check in process. The experience of making a reservation, having it canceled, then requesting to be notified when a truck became available... It was all a mess. The staffer was not apologetic or compassionate about the stress it was causing.

Damage on roof of van that was mentioned on return was not our doing. Virtual walk around photos when picking up van did not show roof. Also, even though I did look at the walk around photos, they said their system shows the link was not opened. Also overheard this van was stolen at some point. Definitely a lot of issues with this rental. We will not be paying for damage we did not cause.

Picking up a truck at this location was a nightmare, employees were rude and unprofessional. The employee refused to mark any of the damage on the walk through when I picked up the truck, insisting that I could just take photos for my own records only and repeatedly stating that the truck was in perfect condition (it wasn't). Finally he threw the paper down and told me to find someone else to help, luckily a second employee filled out the form and agreee there were dents and damages which should be marked down.

Only the front desk guy was nice. Everyone else is just rude and no manners. They are nice when you pick it up. But be nice all the way through even when we are returning our equipment. Trying to charge you more than what you need to really pay. Come on I know times is hard right now but you don't have to be mean about it. Be nice! We only live once.

The auto check in process was not intuitive- the guys there were helpful as they could be but it took WAY to long and was A frustrating experience.

When we picked up our U-Haul (An hour later then scheduled) it still had not been prepared with our supplies and there was visible trash/food all within the back. After I asked for it to be swept out, an associate cleared it with the blower and then used a mop. Unfortunately the inside of the U-Haul smelled like dog poop, in a literal sense. I'm not sure if the mop water is what caused this putrid smell, or if the previous users had some sort of accident, but it was a miserable experience loading and unloading the disgusting truck. Overall, it worked out in the end but whew, that was a tough one.
