Needed a trailer twice now. No problems at all, fast and easy. They do what they say and I don't ask for more then that.

Dropped off after hours (6:30pm so just before dark) so no personnel to help but had to answer to complete survey. There were some sketchy people walking through the parking lot. The self drop off process is long and wouldn’t be easy in the dark as you need to photograph inside and outside of vehicle.

There were several problems with the truck I rented. I discovered the worst of theses when I started loading the truck and had no time to return for a better truck. The interior of the cargo area smelled strongly of goats or other small farm animals. The grab bar to get up into the cargo area was bent in and hard to grasp The tie down rails running along the interior had been pulled from their mountings and were nearly useless in strapping down cargo Problems in the interior of the cab included: a bent seat adjustor, making the seat nearly impossible to adjust a broken instrument cluster lens headliner fabric pulled away from the ceiling non-functioning cigarette lighter/power jack cracked housing on the headlight on'off dial that allowed it to sink into the the dash making it difficult to retrieve

The lot was not well lit at all. It was scary and I had to walk around for 15 minutes in the pitch black in most of the lot to find the truck. The inside cup holders were sticky and had wrappers in them. The vents smelled HORRIBLE as soon as the air came on. Would not recommend.

I found everyone to be friendly, polite, and professional. They were very helpful when my car wouldn’t start and let me keep it there until I got it jumped. The equipment isn’t good Order and I had a The equipment is in good order, and I had an easy time using their storage unit for a year. Despite what some reviews say actually from about five years ago, the bathroom is clean and so is the rest of the place.

The location is actually great! The condition of the truck was standard. My only complaint and the only reason why I'm giving this an average rating was due to the lack of genuine customer service by a live person. The individual in the morning was unfriendly and acted as if I was an inconvenience to her morning. The individual later on in the day just let me sit in the truck and never came over. The instructions clearly stated to wait in the truck for an employee to come over. No one did. I saw an individual vaping outside and asked. He then said to leave the keys in the truck and someone will send me a receipt. So in short, place is convenient, location is great, but the individuals that are "behind the desk" did not appear helpful and lacked friendly customer service.

Why are the questions all about the location as if most people have any other location to compare it to? I did a mobile return of my cargo van on the app and the process took forever. Relax uhaul u rent vans and trucks how bad can it be! Feels like less labor force and more let the customers do the labor. I had a good experience overall but taking 7 photos of the vehicle is ridiculous who is looking at those? Hire more employees and pay for the labor making customers do it is insane without offering a discount for our troubles. Rental car places which have a lot more to lose dont do this. Yer actually missing out on a a valuable market but being weird about all this when u rent utility trucks and vans! My location was fine but as i said i have no comparison so that opinion means nothing. Feels like it could have been easier and less lame but what do i know

It was the easiest drop-off I have ever had. I did not need to stay for the inspection of the truck, even! The lady at the counter was very friendly- overall just a very nice experience.

Truck condition: it was a little musty inside the cabin, there was a little gnat/fruit fly in there when I first picked it up. The back door and ramp were a little tough to maneuver. However, these were very minor points and the overall experience was great. Rental office: clean, maintained, the cashier who helped me was lovely and helpful.

I've been renting cargo vans for camping trips for decades. But I'm no longer happy with the pricing and am seriously considering no longer renting. It seems random what I am charged each time. My most recent rental was WAY more expensive than I thought it would be, based on the info I saw online when I scheduled it. This is NOT ACCEPTABLE to me. I have to be able to budget for this. I am going to look for other opportunities that are more affordable and more consistently priced. I know of at least one other viable option. U-Haul doesn't work with its customers anymore to help them get the best deal for their situation. I am UNSURE if I would recommend to a friend, but I do appreciate the small-town vibe of the Ithaca location.

Not really $19.99 per day, not even close. The other charges really add up. The checkout and check-in were quite time-consuming. Do I really need to take all those pictures???

The good: Upon picking up the truck, the experience of dealing directly with a human being was great. No issues, no problem, short wait. Instructions, ver y clear (photos, etc.). Need major improvement: The app especially on returning the truck after hours was totally useless. The poster outside near the key return slot makes it sound so easy. It was not. After 20 minutes of trying, we had to call. Thankfully, the person who picked up our call was extremely professional, kind, and helpful. Also, the truck felt at times like it was pulling to the right. Other than that, considering it's quite old, it worked very well. Conclusion: Get humans and train them well. Or have a genius to fix the app so that it works perfectly well and easily all the time.

I was told by the Assistant Manager Vic that this location was only 4 blocks from the bus station where I was being dropped off and it was 1.5 mile walk in the humid weather and was delayed in meeting a moving company at my storage facility. Also, the woman who was assisted me in my truck pickup could not advise me the correct size truck to get nor what packing supplies I should buy even after telling her the storage unit size and contents. It was just a transaction to make a sale.

The truck we had was pretty much as new as you could get. Before i got home the passenger side mirror was so loose that it just rotated out and became non-usable. A little duct tape and gorilla tape to hold the mirror in place got us through the weekend. I also remember the slide out ramp used to be longer... the incline of this particular unit was a killer on the backs and legs. Overall.., THANK YOU!!

The location was fine but Uhauls online system is bad. We lost 45 minutes of our 4 hour rental window trying to upload the photos requested upon pickup. The website would not work on my phone, which has bad cell service in that area anyway. That U-Haul requires me to use my phone, even for an in person pickup, keeps me from using U-Haul more often. I always have trouble with it and it wastes precious time that I am paying for. Let people know when making the reservation that they’ll need to use their phone even if they haven’t chosen self check out, and that after hours returns also requires a cell phone. But overall I don’t want to have to rely on my cellular data at all to be able to rent a truck.

I rented a cargo van today to bring my store inventory to another location an hour away and back. The van absolutely REEKED of cigarette smoke. Because of this, now does my inventory (which was only in the van for 2 hours round trip, so that gives you an idea of how bad it was). I wasn’t expecting anything pristine but the cigarette smoke was incredibly off putting, especially while spending over $100 on it for the day. I’ll be choosing another location next time.

Horrible customer service and wait times. Manager of Ithaca NY location was very nice though and helpful. Calling in for assistance or to make reservations was infuriating. HORRIBLE for moving ease.
