The gas tanks should be at least 50% full when rented, its expected since some people like myself are renting on some tlme restrictions. Also, would like to not have to smell bad ordor in the cars. With COVID it would be best to keep cleaning the rentals best as possible.SUSANA M.

I've been having trouble with the website. I sign up for online check in thru truck share and every time I get to the part where it double checks my drivers license info it doesn't load the next page and tells me the server stopped responding. I needed a double door trailer and they didn't give me one, it was available before pickup. It's the worst service that I met in my life. They are very unprofessional, I waited more than 20 minutes inside the store ALONE without any employee to help me. They don't follow the same rules and pattern as others stores. The trailer light was left on on the 10 foot truck that I rented. I had no idea that it had been left on or what it does to a truck. The truck shook viciously the entire time I was on the highway making controlling the truck virtually impossible. I very nearly hit a car in the lane beside me and had people honking me. When I called to report it, I was told, well, people make mistakes. They do, but that was not an appropriate response.DIANE M.

Your General Manager Juan Hugarte was impatient, unprofessional and lacked customer service skills. After explaining to him a concern, he refused to listen and stated it was my job to ask the questions versus uhaul letting me know. He continued to say â€œcorporate uhaul are differentâ€ and told me it was my job to find out which uhaul were or were not â€œcorporate uhaulâ€. I ended up having to call the corporate office to be heard and validated and have my issue handled.TODD M.

I reserved a truck a week in advance at the location on 5006 Vineland and I was told because of double booking there were no trucks for me and had to drive 10 miles out of my way for a new truck. Completely messed up my schedule.KRISTIAN L.
After hours drop off was a nightmare. We had 3 trailers to drop and we couldn't put where we were told. While dropping off another customer dropped off 2 large trucks. Space was limited and difficult to maneuver. The drivers of the other trucks helped get it done.SCOTT DAVID W.

Juan was the definition of customer service. My first experience was on Thursday 10/14/21 and the staff was amazing. My experience today, 10/18/21 was unpleasant. The 2 ladies in the office seemed to not want to be there. They provided smelly vans, 1 in which had a busted mirror driver's side side view mirror and a turning signal that did not work. Was running late to the pick up location due to having to switch vans. Juan was very understanding and made sure we were being helped with great customer service. The "reservation" process was a nightmare. It really isnt ok that when i make a reservation it is only tentative on your part.ROBERT G.
My rental was double booked and the other person was there 30 seconds before me and took the keys. The staff told me there was nothing they could do and I had to call U-haul even though I was standing at the u-haul. I got upset enough that she then searched for another vehicle nearby and reserved it. While waiting for my Uber a van return pulled up and I asked her if I could take that van but she told me it was for someone else who wasn't there yet. When I called to speak to customer service about the double booking he hung up on me when I asked for a discount. Finally a manager helped to give me a discount and apologized. I will go out of my way to use a different rental company the next time I move.Carley C.
