Big homeless problem at site, clerk at counter was friendly enough, the manager seemed annoyed about having to break $100 bill, used a lot of profanity in front of customers concerning that event.



Was being heckled by a homeless man while I was inspecting my van. Manager stepped in to help convince the man to leave.

I schedule for the following Saturday in error. Through the 800 line, I was able to get a larger truck "NOW" for $10 more. That's great! The truck did pulled to the left.

If would recommend anything, it would be ample people to help with returns of the truck and equipment. There was much congestiin of traffic AND people getting on and off the Metro Bus. I had to circle around the block to get on to the lot. I was returning my truck and equipment around 2 on a Friday afternoon. So, i am sure that was gigh volume time for Uhaul. However, I had wonderful service, that was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. Again. I would highly recommend the location. However, space to make a return and ample staff for returns would be very helpful.

The manager of this location was very condescending and not very helpful at all. First of all, the location didn't open at 0700hrs as the store front says. Secondly, this was not my preferred location that preferred location would have been 1.5 miles from my house not the 3 miles away? Thirdly, I don't when U-haul stopped helping their customers load their vehicles onto the trailers (auto) and/or at least showing the customers how to secure the vehicle but I was highly disappointed by the lack of effect and concern by the employees. So, U-haul with risk the customer securing their own vehicle wrong and it being the customer fault if there is a problem(s) than for U-haul to hire competent employee to do the job right. Maybe it was just this Los Angeles location because in Las Vegas the service was what I expected from my home town, "excellent service"...!!!! Fourth, the truck only had a little more than half of tank of fuel. I was on a tight time schedule with the movers on the back end of this move expecting close to the allotted of travel from LA to Vegas so very minute was important and planned. So to have to go get fuel before even leaving the city caused quite a logistically problem to start the trip. Fifth, having this rude manager (Luis Serrano) having me wait before I could attach the auto trailer to the truck because he didn't tell me when I left with the truck that I would have to complete a contract on the trailer when I returned. Very piss poor customer service that I enlightened him too. So, with all this drama on top of the outrageous prices charged to get out of that state (California) there is no wonder why I won't be recommending that location to anybody. U-haul had fair pricing when I left Las Vegas a mire 10 months prior to move to Los Angeles but to get out of there, the prices were ridicules. Additionally, I was also called a day and a half prior to my reservation pickup date that the pickup location had changed? I know you all are the biggest game in town, so I expect better...!!

I was late bringing the truck back 3 hours. I wanted a 26 foot for 24 hours but I could only utilize this for 12 hours. I was to be returned by 9AM. I called the call center to let them know I would be late. Twice. Luis the manager was very very angry with me and he charged me a cleaning fee a day later and said my truck was returned not clean. I always rent monthly always return clean. I believe he was angry because I was late. They did not look in the back so why a day later. I paid the fee but I feel that was his way of punishing me for being late.

I reserved a 26 foot truck at 42nd and Western. When I showed up the young Lady at the counter simply told me I don't have what you reserved do you want a smaller vehicle. I was delayed because i had to go to another location. I rent the vehicle and the gentleman at the Venice and Western made it seem that I had the to rent the vehicle for the day or else i would not be able to rent it. His words. The vehicle has to be back today by 6:45 because I need it for tomorrow. You are not giving me a free rental. I am a paying customer. Who dictates for how long I rent you or I? Gas marking was stated at a quarter tank of fuel. The gentleman checking me out checked and marked it a 1/8 of the quarter tank. I fueled it and returned it at a quarter tank.

Requestes a 17' truck about two weeks ago. When I went to pick up the rental truck they provided 15' truck saying that I requested 17'. The employee did not seem to care even though I showed him the original email from Uhaul stating 17'. I had to take the 15' and was short on room and had to borrow my friends mini van to move all of stuff.
