The on site customer service was rated less than novice. No onsite resolutions or accountability, or the ability to make human judgement calls. I wasted hours in this location. Not one person of the two employees could help navigate the U-HAUL website. I was finally helped by calling the help line and they were able to execute all needed. I did this from the brick and mortar U-Haul location. Why did I need to loop the people in at the location who were not able to execute the needed procedures. What a waste of time….

Booked a month ago and had nothing else I ordered in shop. I ordered a dolly and an appliance dolly, had to cancel picking up a fridge and a couch because they didn’t have the equipment I ordered and didn’t tell me beforehand so I could try and secure it by other means. I am disabled and it made everything ten times harder than it needed to be. If they just let me know beforehand it would have been way less of an issue but waited for check in to tell me and remove it from my bill.

Very disappointed the whole experience of renting a U-Haul is 90% self checkout. Having a real employee check out the truck made it much easier. It’s not fair to people who don’t access to a cell phone. I also noticed checking out on the phone made it a longer process and much longer lines. U-Haul needs to go back employee customer service not self check out.

This location had people camped up in the parking lot, which as two younger woman, felt very nerve racking. Made it to the location before they closed, but doors were locked, and of course no one available to assist. Someone did eventually leave as we were dropping off using 24/7 option, which sucked. Even that didn’t feel very welcoming to leave something we were responsible for sitting there unattended. However, grateful for its existence, otherwise returning the next business day during their “available” hours would have been nearly impossible. I would highly recommend not going to this location if you don’t have to.

I love this location. I rent here on weekly basis. All team members in my case go above and beyond to make sure I got all my needs met. Very professional and they don’t waste your time. That includes both office staff and guys that help you to dispatch and receive the rental. Cars are new , low mileage , clean and well maintained .

They didn’t listen, they didn’t inspect the trailer once, they got my drop off location wrong, calling and trying to fix it was a nightmare, the representative was completely rude wouldn’t listen to me, told me I’d be charged extra on top of the 250$ and I can dispute it later, I said no I do not want to be charged extra for their mistake, and I’d shut my card off until we resolved this and they told me go ahead they don’t care.

Subject: Complaint Regarding Employee Behavior Litsy, October 11 at 11:00 AM Message: On October 12 around 11:00 AM, I interacted with an employee named Litsy who was extremely rude during my visit. I asked a simple question about whether I would be reimbursed or not charged for unused estimated miles. Instead of clarifying, she said, “Well, check your email,” in a dismissive tone. When I asked again for clarification, she responded with, “Well, do you want your receipt printed or emailed?” completely ignoring my question and maintaining a rude attitude. Additionally, when we were parking, she told us not to park there and to get out, also in a very rude tone. Overall, her behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful, and I would like this to be formally reviewed. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I was attended by Liz i was standing in line when she started taking bad about my vehicle not being park but I explained to her that incase just there the day before and I was told to pull in a certain way the whole time she gave me attitude and was rude I told her co work about all the incidents that occurred she said there was no supervisor or store manager she couldn't help me customer service is everything and that girl needs it I'm very dissatisfied with her service and the customer service uhaul provided by its employee

I was running late in returning a van. I did call office to advise. No answer. I called customer care. They stated thst they wrote notes about me running late and notifying them. I was 30 mi notes late due to traffic. I got charged for another day. I am a old customer. I rent all the time at this location. O have never returned late. Very, very disappointed in the overcharge.

I had a great experience with this truck rental. The representative helped me through the tricky parts of the online application and made the process simple. When I arrived, the truck was ready to go. Returning it was just as easy. The whole operation felt like a well oiled machine.

For a start--a bare minimum request--introduce yourself to customers with a positive greeting! Try not being on the phone/headset with a personal call WHILE YOU ARE WAITING ON CUSTOMERS: especially if you are scolding the interlocutor on the other end of the call. Try greeting a customer when they return their rental vehicle, instead of ignoring them; and then learn how to park one of your trucks such that the mirrors do not collide when you get out of the vehicle! If any one of these things seems impossible to accomplish, maybe you should simply close down your business.

When I arrived to pick up my trailer, myself and an employee needed to first verify that the trailer lights would work when attached to my vehicle. We plugged my cable to the trailer's and we checked the turn signals. Nothing. We unplugged and replugged the connection and tried again. Nothing. I noticed that my connector was a little worn down from hitting the road, although the connection was still tight. I massaged my connector with my Leatherman and reconnected them. Nothing. The employee had no suggestions - he just stood there mute. I assumed my connection was the problem. I asked if they sold new cables. He asked inside and said they didn't have any. So I drove across the street to an auto supply store, bought a new 4-wire cable and some electrical connectors and went back to the U-Haul lot. I cut my old connector off, and used my Leatherman to crimp the new connector to the old wires. We tried again. Nothing. And at this point to noticed that the U-Haul cable was completely shredded with wires from all four lines showing and splayed out. The employee still stood by without saying anything. So I asked if there was another trailer or another cable he could use in place of the obviously damaged one. He found a different cable, connected to to the trailer and to my Frankenstein parking lot operation cable, and the trailer lights lit up perfectly.

Rental and check-in process was very smooth, and truck was mostly in good condition (but the transmission needs attention). However, the mobile return process was a bit of a nightmare. Most of the location’s parking space is blocked off in the evening, so the available drop-off area was basically full by the time we arrived. The agent I spoke with online unfortunately could not be of much help – their only suggestions were to find street parking or return in the morning, neither of which were an option for me. If there were some sort of limitation placed on mobile returns per night (e.g, after a certain number of renters leave their trucks there after hours, it should let other renters know they have to plan for the next day during business hours), that hassle could have been avoided.

The vehicle seemed to be on its last leg. Very loud banging in rear which made the mirrors shake so much they were unusable. Vehicle had a hard time going from 1st to 2nd. Vehicles were so packed into the lot it was impossible to take proper photos. Employee was very nice and helpful.

I was charged 6700... and even the representatives where shocked at the price. The even wanted me to tow something but when I got to the pick up spot, there was nothing to tow. I have several concerns regarding milage of this vehicle upon. First, I have concerns regarding whether the mileage on the odometer reading is valid. Second, Whether he instrument cluster is working properly or not. When was the last time the odometer had been calibrated or been checked to whether the odometer working properly or not. Third Upon return of the rental truck. I was told by management that I had put over 500 miles on truck. That is impossible. 500 miles x 55 mph = Approximately 10.5 hours driving. According to my GPS on my calculations. Pomona round trip from LA is 50 miles. Library round trip 5 times (2.5 miles × 2=5 miles) 5×5=25 miles. I went to Ralph's 3 times=3 miles. A Total of 78 miles x .89 mpg= $67.24 + 14 days x $19.99=280.00-$125.72=154.28 I paid a cash payment $32.00 $154.28-$32.00=$122.28 Total: Balance Due is $122.28 Need to check withdrawal from my checking accounts. Also, whether the deposits were returned from the First truck rented.

The tow dolly had the safety chain, and the tire strap wrapped all together had to untangle, which took me 20 minutes one of the change. The S hook was completely ground off, and the tail light on the driver side did not work and he said all lights were working when he sent me up Very disappointed in this location in this service
